Externally-powered strapping tool and a strapping tool assembly utilized therein
An externally-powered strapping tool includes a strapping tool assembly configured to perform one or more strapping operations; and an external power source operatively coupled thereto, the external power source being attached to the strapping tool assembly in a substantially immovable manner. According to another aspect, a strapping tool assembly includes one or more strapping tool subassemblies configured to perform one or more strapping operations; a power transfer subassembly operatively coupled to the one or more strapping tool subassemblies, the power transfer subassembly configured to transfer motive power from an external power source to the one or more strapping tool subassemblies; and a coupling member configured to couple the strapping tool assembly to the external power source.
STRAPPING APPARATUS HAVING AN ACTUATING ELEMENT FOR THE TENSIONING DEVICE
In the case of a strapping apparatus for strapping articles to be packaged with a strapping band, said apparatus having a tensioning device for applying a band tension to a loop of a strapping band, wherein the tensioning device is provided with a tensioning element that is provided to apply a band tension and to engage in the strapping band and is drivable in rotation, and having a connecting device for creating a permanent connection, in particular a welded connection at two regions, located one on top of the other, of the loop of the strapping band, a possibility is intended to be created by way of which damage to articles to be packaged that is attributable to the tensioning operation, and non-uniform applications of tensile stress to a band loop are avoided or at least reduced. For this purpose an actuating element for the tensioning device is proposed, with which different rotational speeds of the tensioning element are achievable, by way of different intensities of actuation of the actuating element, during the operation of tensioning the strapping band.
STRAPPING DEVICE
A strapping device includes a body, a tensioner, and a handle. The body can have a first body end, a second body end, and a base extending between the first body end and the second body end. The tensioner can be coupled with the body and adjacent to the base, the body defining a strap axis between tensioner and the base, the tensioner applies a force to a strap received by the body along the strap axis. The handle can extend between a first handle end coupled with the first body end and a second handle end coupled with the second body end. The handle can be oriented at an angle relative to a plane parallel to the strap axis, the angle greater than or equal to 15 degrees and less than or equal to 45 degrees.
HAND HELD STRAPPING TOOL
A strapping device includes a handle, a body, and an actuator. The handle includes an input device and a switch, the input device spaced from the switch by a biasing element that applies a bias force to the input device. The input device moves from a first state spaced from the switch to a second state contacting the switch responsive to receiving a force greater than the bias force. A circuit of the switch is closed responsive to the input device moving from the first state to the second state. The switch outputs an actuation signal responsive to the circuit being closed. The body includes a tensioner and a base including a strap receiver opposite the tensioner. The actuator moves the tensioner from a first tensioner position to a second tensioner position further from the strap receiver based on a movement force greater than the bias force.
Strapping device having a display and operating apparatus
A mobile strapping device for wrapping material to be packed with a strap. The strapping device includes a modular assembly that includes a display and operating apparatus and at least part of a controller of the strapping device.
DRIVE ASSEMBLY
A tool to bundle a plurality of elongate articles using a weldable tape includes a guide block, a motor assembly, and a drive block. The motor assembly can include a motor and a gear train. The drive block can include a first bracket, a second bracket, a first wheel assembly, a second wheel assembly, and a spring element. The drive block can connect to the gear train of the motor assembly using a slot and tooth arrangement. A rotation of the motor can cause a rotation of the first wheel assembly and the second wheel assembly of the drive block to feed the weldable tape through the tool.
CLAMPING ASSEMBLY
A clamping apparatus for bundling a plurality of elongate articles using a weldable tape includes a guide block, an anvil bracket, a clamp body, an anvil, a pivot lever, at least one clamp spring, and at least one anvil spring. The guide block can include a passage extending through the guide block. The anvil bracket, the clamp body, and the anvil can be configured to slidably move in a forward and rear direction through a passage. The pivot lever can be configured to pivotably rotate about an axis and impart a translational movement onto the anvil bracket in response to a driving mechanism. The clamping assembly can be configured to complete a series of steps based on the translational movement of the pivot lever.
A HANDHELD ELECTRIC PACKING MACHINE
A handheld electric packing machine having a strap press structure, vibrating component, cutter, and strap press spacer matching the strap press structure. The strap press structure connects to the vibrating component or is part of the vibrating component. The vibrating component is a swing vibrating component capable of rising and falling. The machine has a downward pressing mechanism and rising reset mechanism for the vibrating component. The vibrating component swings leftward and rightward relative to the lengthwise direction of a packing strap. The machine has a leftward and rightward swing driving device for the vibrating component. The machine has a manually downward pressing operating mechanism with a lock, which is locked when the vibrating component is pressed downwards until die strap press structure is located at a strap press position. The downward pressing operating mechanism cannot retreat after the manually downward pressing is removed.
Strapping tool
A strapping tool is disclosed herein. In one or more embodiments, the strapping tool includes a motive power source and a sealing assembly. The sealing assembly includes a first punch and a die, the first punch and die configured to crimp or cut a notch in a strapping seal member and a piece of strapping so as to secure the piece of strapping around a package or bundle of items.
