FISHING DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
Disclosed are devices, systems and methods for fishing. In one aspect, disclosed is a device having a hollow tube, which has a first end and a second end, wherein the first end and the second end are open-ended and on opposite ends of the hollow tube. Further, the device may include at least one slot at the first end, wherein the first end is optionally flared. Further still, the device may include a first slot located along a longest length of the hollow tube, and a second slot located between the first end and the first slot, wherein the second slot is optionally oriented at least substantially perpendicular to the first slot.
FISHING REEL APPARATUS
A fishing reel apparatus including a frame, an upper spool on the frame for winding up and paying out a line, a bead on the line, a series of hooks at intervals on the line down-line of the bead, a lower spool on the frame for winding up and paying out a sheet, an opening in the sheet for receiving the line where the opening is sized to allow the line to pass through without allowing the bead to pass through, a guide roller on the frame between the upper and lower spools for guiding the sheet when the sheet is payed out to, and a drive motor operably connected to the upper spool for rotating the upper spool.
Outrigger clamp
An outrigger clamp to couple together two or more nestable tubes. The clamp can include a guide for retaining filament. The guide can rotate about an axis based on the forces applied to the outrigger to better align the filament and guides, and therefore align the forces applied to the outrigger and filament. The retainer can be, for example, one or more rollers that help prevent the filament from becoming creased or kinked during use.

POLE-AND-LINE FISHING DEVICE
A pole-and-line fishing device includes a rotary drum, a drive motor, an electromagnetic clutch, an encoder for detecting direction and speed of rotation of the rotary drum, and a control unit for controlling the electromagnetic clutch. The drive motor can rotate the rotary drum in a forward winding direction until a load reaches a transmission torque, and when load exceeds the transmission torque, the drum can rotate in a reverse unwinding direction. In a reverse torque operation region, a winding torque is set to a preset Winding Force 2 Reference Rotation Speed relative to a Winding Force 1, and is changed based on a change of rotation speed of the drum. The ratio of winding torque increase/decrease is determined by a torque rising curve. The winding torque switches to Winding Force 3 to perform a constant torque operation when speed of the drum reaches Winding Force 3 Reference Rotation Speed.

FISHING LIGHT ATTRACTOR AND A METHOD OF FISHING THEREWITH
It is well known that light attracts fish at night, and that any artificial fishing light attractor is preferably submersible to avoid significant amounts of light being reflected off the surface of the water. Single-use glow sticks are known to be used as submersible fishing light attractors; however, these cannot be turned off, can be used only once, and are often of relatively low intensity. The present invention provides a powered light source with an intensity higher than conventional glow sticks that may be attached to fishing lines. To achieve this, the light source is configured such that, when the light source is placed at depth, external water pressure acts to increase sealing against ingress of water.

Dual release roller clip for kite fishing
A clip for attaching a fishing line to a kite line. The clip mounts on the housing for loosely supporting the fishing line. The clip includes a pair of top rollers and a bottom roller aligned in parallel during operation. The rollers rotate freely to prevent twisting of the kite line. The rollers do cooperate to hold the kite line and prevent axial motion between the kite line and the rollers of the clip. The clip is moveable between a locked configuration where the clip is secured axially to the fishing line and is capable of holding the fishing line, to an unlocked configuration that releases the fishing line. When bait at one end of the fishing line is hit or tugged, the clip releases both the fishing line and the kite line to enable the clip to slid down the kite line away from the kite and fishing line.
