Internet-enabled beverage maker
A device for dispensing individual servings of a cold beverage with Wi-Fi connectivity, either having a refrigeration unit to chill the beverage or a removable pitcher that may be put in a refrigerator. A special disposable beverage cartridge or beverage pouch fits into the holder. This cartridge or pouch may have pressure rupturable seals or diaphragms and contain beverage concentrate. A dispensing mechanism puts pressure on the cartridge or the pouch to break the pressure rupturable seal or diaphragm to discharge the concentrate into a mixing structure. The mixing structure also receives chilled liquid from the refrigeration unit or the pitcher, and ensures that the concentrate mixes with the liquid without contacting the walls of the mixing structure.
METAL BOTTLE SEAL
Disclosed is a metal bottle seal that is disposed on the curl of the metal bottle. The bottle seal may be held in place by crimping of the curl. In addition, adhesive may be used to hold the bottle seal on the curl. Adhesives can be used that fill discontinuities that may exist in the curl as a result of substantial drawing and ironing of the metal. Further, the metal bottle seal can be made of a material or laminated with a material that is soft enough to fill the discontinuities. The seal can be preformed as a continuous annulus for easy application to the top of the metal bottle. The metal bottle seal can also be used in conjunction with a cap seal to ensure an adequate and reliable seal.
LIQUID ANT BAIT PACK WITH TEAR-AWAY TAB
A liquid ant bait pack having a primary bait well and a plurality of feeding reservoirs for holding liquid bait is provided in which the walls of the feeding reservoirs as well as the primary bait well are sloped to facilitate ant access to the liquid bait held therein while reducing the risk of the ants falling into the bait and drowning. Ant access is further facilitated by dry platform areas positioned between the reservoirs. The inclusion of multiple feeding reservoirs, the bait well and the dry platform areas provides an increased area over which ants can simultaneously access the bait. The entrance to the bait pack is sealed during manufacture and then readily opened by the consumer using a tear-off tab that can removed without the need for any tools.

CONTAINER HAVING A HEAD PIECE, WHICH CONTAINER CAN BE OR IS FILLED WITH A MEDIUM
The invention relates to a container having a head piece (7), which container can be or is filled with a medium and is produced of plastic materials using a blow molding, filling, and sealing method, comprising a transition region (13) between the container (1) and at least one first type of a head surface (11), which is arranged on the head piece (7) at an end face and can be penetrated by means of a piercing or cutting part and extends with a specifiable curvature. Said container is characterized in that at least one second type of a head surface (41), which likewise has a specifiable. curvature, which is the same as the curvature of the head surface (39) of the first type, but preferably is different therefrom, is present on the head piece (7), that the head surfaces transition into each other in such a way that a whole surface is formed, which spans the free end of the transition region (13) directed away from the container (1), and that the head piece (7) is an integral component of the container (1).
Accommodating device for different types of material
Provided is an accommodating device for different materials, which includes a fixed part fixed around a container neck and an operating part disposed around the fixed part and coupled thereto. An accommodating part having a storage space extends downward within the operating part, and a lower end part and an outer ring-shaped part of the accommodating part are sealed by a sealing support part and a sealing part of the fixed part disposed around the container neck and coupled thereto. In the accommodating part, a tab for breaking perforations, which is formed on a lower end of the accommodating part of the operating part, breaks the perforations formed between the sealing support part and the sealing part when a consumer rotates the operating part. During this process, a protrusion part protruding from the upper side of the sealing part is pushed downward by a side protrusion piece of the operating part so that the different type of material stored in the storage space of the accommodating device falls into the container and undergoes a mixing process. The sealing support part disposed around the outer ring-shaped part of the accommodating part and coupled thereto and the sealing part formed inside the sealing support part are configured such that an inner ring-shaped part of the sealing part tightly contacts an inner wall part of the lower end of the accommodating part so as to maintain sealing force thereof.
CONTAINER WITH A SECURING DEVICE
The invention relates to a container with a securing device (16), in particular in the form of a blow-molded plastic container, preferably in the form of an ampoule, comprising a storage part (4) for receiving a medium which can be dispensed via a container opening (10) and comprising a head part (6) which is removably connected to the storage part (4) via a separation point (12) and which releases the container opening (10) for a removal process of the medium after the head part has been separated from the storage part (4). The invention is characterized in that the separation of the head part (6) from the storage part (4) is completely prevented or at least hindered by means of the securing device (16) in a securing position, and the head part (6) can be removed from the storage part (4) without force via the separation point (12) in at least one release position.
Container which accommodates drug and is sealed
The present invention relates to a container, which accommodates a drug and is sealed, includes a container stopper part including at least one filling groove formed in order to inject a drug, and a container body including an opening into which the container stopper part is inserted and which is sealed, wherein the filling groove is formed in an outer wall surface of the container stopper part in a longitudinal direction in which the container stopper part is inserted thereinto and forms a passage which is formed between the outer wall surface of the container stopper part and an inner wall surface of the container body and through which the drug is injectable.
Device and method for opening an ampoule
A device for opening an ampoule includes an ampoule holder configured to hold a body of the ampoule along a central longitudinal axis, a head holder configured to hold a head of the ampoule, and a guide engaged with the head holder and configured to direct the head holder from a first position on the central longitudinal axis to a second position offset from the central longitudinal axis when the ampoule holder is advanced in a first direction along the central longitudinal axis from an initial position. A method for opening an ampoule includes moving the ampoule in a first direction along a central longitudinal axis, directing the head of the ampoule laterally and/or obliquely away from the central longitudinal axis to break the head of the ampoule from the body of the ampoule when the ampoule is moved in the first direction, removing material from the body of the ampoule, and removing liquid from the head of the ampoule.
