Tamper evidence bridges
An apparatus and a method are provided for a container cap comprising a plurality of tamper evidence bridges configured to provide evidence that the container cap has been removed from a container by other than a manufacturer of the container. The tamper evidence bridges comprise a small tab of material that extends from a bottom-most edge of the container cap to a neck ring of the container. The tamper evidence bridges are configured to break, or snap, when the container cap is rotated relative to the neck ring. Broken tamper evidence bridges provide readily visible evidence to an end-user of the container that the container cap has been removed by other than the manufacturer of the container. The high visibility of the tamper evidence bridges serves to discourage vendors from attempting to refill and resale of the used containers.
VACUUM PANEL FOR NON-ROUND CONTAINERS
A non-round container including a sidewall with an outer surface. A first vacuum panel is recessed beneath the outer surface and includes at least one first rib. A second vacuum panel is recessed beneath the outer surface and includes at least one second rib. A middle vacuum panel is recessed beneath the outer surface and is positioned between the first and the second vacuum panels. The middle vacuum panel includes at least one middle rib.
SHOCK-PROOF MINERAL CONTAINER AND MOUNTING STRUCTURE THEREOF
A shock-proof mineral container and mounting structure thereof, which provides a heat insulation container with a liner formed using mineral material. The liner is provided with shock-proof protection and a mounted assembly structure. During the process of assembling the single ended suspended configuration, a blocking member having an elastic effect is inter-connected between an annular neck configured on the mineral liner and an upper link opening joined to an outer cylinder, and the elastic strain of the blocking member is used to absorb shock waves occasionally produced by an external force when carrying the container, thereby safeguarding the structural safety of the hard and brittle mineral liner. In addition, the structure is supplemented with a cylinder liner, which adds to the heat insulation capacity of the container and maintains the stability of the mineral liner.
TEA BAG CONFIGURED TO BE SUSPENDED IN A WATER BOTTLE
A tea bag is configured to be inserted within a water bottle. The tea bag includes a long, thin tea containment bag configured to be inserted within the water bottle and be removed from the water bottle after steeping without compressing with an opening of the water bottle tea leaves within the tea containment bag as the bag is removed from the bottle. The tea bag additionally includes a tea bag line useful to suspend the tea containment bag within the water bottle.
PREFORM EXTENDED FINISH FOR PROCESSING LIGHT WEIGHT ECOLOGICALLY BENEFICIAL BOTTLES
An injection-molded preform for forming an 8 ounce PET container includes a neck portion configured to engage a closure and having a first wall thickness and an elongated body portion having an upper segment adjacent the neck portion and a lower segment adjacent an end cap. The upper segment has a second wall thickness substantially similar to the first wall thickness. The lower segment has a third wall thickness greater than the second wall thickness. The preform has a total weight less than 7 grams.

A metal bottle-shaped container comprising a neck portion (5) defining an opening to the container, the neck portion extending into a neck finish (6) configured to receive a crown closure for sealing the opening, the neck finish comprising three distinct sections, a proximal section (6.P) extending from the neck portion of the container and connected thereto by a first bend (6.1), a distal section (6.D) comprising the free end of the neck finish and an intermediate section (6.1) extending between the proximal section and the distal section and connected thereto by respectively a second bend (6.2) and a third bend (6.3), characterized in that the proximal section is substantially planar and has a width of at least 0.5 mm measured between the first and second bends.
Container system and method of manufacture
A plastic, hot-fillable container is provided. The container comprises a blow molded body including a neck and a base having a center portion and a plurality of spaced apart radial segments. At least a portion of each segment is tapered from an outer side to an inner side thereof. Container systems and methods of manufacturing containers are disclosed.
SYNTHETIC RESIN BLOW MOLDED BOTTLE
In a synthetic resin blow molded bottle, reduced pressure absorbing panel portions and column portions are formed alternately in the circumferential direction. Each column portion has a diameter that gradually increases downward and that remains substantially constant vertically. Each reduced pressure absorbing panel portion includes a pair of panel side edge portions, which is bent to the inner side from the adjacent column portions, a panel surface portion, which connects the pair of panel side edge portions, and a panel lower edge portion, which is bent to the outer side from a lower end edge of the panel surface portion. The panel surface portion of each reduced pressure absorbing panel portion includes a panel upper-side surface portion, whose diameter gradually increases downward, and a panel lower-side surface portion, which connects the panel upper-side surface portion and the panel lower edge portion and which has a substantially constant diameter vertically.

A method for forming a curl on an open end of a metal container, for adapting the metal bottle to be closed by a cap, comprising in sequence: inserting the open end of the metal container into a powered first curler roller housing, wherein the first curler roller housing houses a set of first curler rollers, to deform the open end by turning it outwardly so as to obtain a first stage curl; inserting the open end of the metal container having the first stage curl into a powered second curler roller housing, wherein the second curler roller housing houses a set of second curler rollers, to further deform the open end and first stage curl by turning them outwardly and/or curling them so as to obtain a second stage curl; inserting the open end of the metal container or bottle having the second stage curl into a powered third curler roller housing, wherein the third curler roller housing houses a set of third curler rollers, to further deform the open end and second stage curl by turning them outwardly, curling them and/or compressing the second stage curl radially and/or longitudinally downward towards a bottom of the metal container so as to obtain a third stage curl.
