Preform for production of a plastic container in a stretch-blow-molding method
A preform for a stretch-blow-molded plastic container includes an elongated, tube-like preform body. An outer wall and an inner wall delimit a bottom thickness (b). An outer wall and an inner wall delimit a wall thickness (w). An inner surface and an outer surface (E1) curved in three-dimensionally convex manners are spaced apart such that a distance from their respective apex (S, S′) to the preform body continuously increases. Extensions of the outer wall of the preform bottom along the outer three-dimensionally curved surface (E1), and of the inner wall of the preform bottom along the inner three-dimensionally curved surface (E2) are configured to be interrupted by set-backs area outside of their respective apex (S, S′) thereof.
Container pressure base
A polymeric container formed from a preform and configured for storing a commodity under pressure. A base of the container includes a standing ring configured to support the container upright when the standing ring is seated on a planar standing surface. A curved diaphragm of the base extends from the standing surface to a center of the base. A plurality of dimples are defined by the base and are evenly spaced apart along the standing surface.
LIQUID CONTAINER FOR MASS STORAGE, TRANSPORT, AND DISPLAY
A thin-walled plastic container for storing liquids having a pour spout on a top and a handle disposed at a point near the pour spout to a point on a front of the container. In preferred embodiments, ridges are formed into portions of the corners and edges of the container and container body to add structural support. The characteristics of the present invention allow for enhanced storage and display capability, easier product transport, and increased durability.
CONTAINER PRESSURE BASE
A polymeric container formed from a preform and configured for storing a commodity under pressure. A base of the container includes a standing ring configured to support the container upright when the standing ring is seated on a planar standing surface. A curved diaphragm of the base extends from the standing surface to a center of the base. A plurality of dimples are defined by the base and are evenly spaced apart along the standing surface.
Swirl bell bottle with wavy ribs
An apparatus is provided for a container comprising a base, a bell, a sidewall between the base and the bell, a neck and a finish which define an opening to an interior of the container, and a shoulder between the sidewall and the bell. Strap ribs extend from a central portion of the base and terminate at the sidewall. The strap ribs cooperate with vertically aligned recessed columns of the sidewall to resist bending, leaning, crumbling, or stretching along the sidewall and the base. An inwardly offset portion of the sidewall is disposed between each pair of adjacent recessed columns. The inwardly offset portions of the sidewall are configured to resist outward bowing of the sidewall due to internal pressure of contents within the container.
Measuring device assembly
A measuring device assembly having a container and measuring receptacle. The container includes a self-supporting base structure with a plurality of projections extending downward therefrom, wherein each projection of the plurality of projections includes a fastener receiving groove extending inward thereof. The measuring receptacle includes a receptacle base, a side wall extending from an upper surface of the receptacle base, and a fastener extending inward and secured in the fastener receiving groove.
Lightweight plastic container and preform
A plastic container includes a hollow body portion including a lower supporting base portion; a sidewall portion extending upwardly from the base portion; and a neck portion extending upwardly from the sidewall portion. The neck portion includes a support flange having an upper and lower surface, at least one thread, and a dispensing opening at the top of the neck portion. In embodiments, a closure may be provided to form an assembly. A preform and method for making a container are also disclosed.
Plastic container with pivotable base portion
A plastic container has a mouth portion, a main body, and a base portion which adjoins the main body. The base portion has a central region as well as a diaphragm which runs in a circumferential direction and extends from the central region to the main body. The central region is pivotable relative to the main body between at least two positions which differ with regard to an internal volume of the container. The wall has at least one and preferably at least two circumferential grooves and are spaced apart from one another. The central region has a projection extending in the direction of the interior of the plastic container, and at least one web extending at least in part in a radial direction in the circumferential wall.

A container (1) made of thermoplastic material, defining an axis (X) and having a petaloid type bottom (2), the bottom (2) comprising: -a central area (3); -a plurality of first convex surfaces (4) towards the outside of the container, which extend from the central area (3); -a plurality of feet (5), arranged alternately with the first convex surfaces (4), and projecting outwards with respect to the first convex surfaces (4); -an annular rib (6), which is coaxial to the axis (X); wherein the first convex surfaces (4) belong to the same spherical surface having the center (C) arranged on the axis (X).
