APPARATUS, KIT AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY OF A COLLAPSIBLE BULK MATERIAL CONTAINER
A collapsible bulk material container apparatus, kit and method of assembly employ a forming member having a plurality of interconnected sidewalls, a locking mechanism that fixedly orients the sidewalls continuously about an internal bulk material receiving cavity, and a tubular open-ended woven fabric sleeve that supportively overlies the sidewalls. A connector system rapidly engageable during container assembly, fixedly secures the support sleeve of an unloaded container against subsequent upward movement along the sidewalls. Strategically located friction reducing surfaces of the forming member facilitates sliding assembly of the sleeve over the forming member sidewalls.
Slit Paper Expansion Method and Apparatus
An expansion devise includes an unexpanded slit sheet roll that is wound on a paper core that is wider than the slit sheet paper. The paper core is placed into a yoke that holds the paper in position on each side of the unexpanded slit sheet material. An adjustable downward pressure is exerted on the paper core and the paper core exerts pressure on the yoke. As the paper is pulled, this downward pressure creates the friction required to enable the unexpanded slit sheet to be unwind and fed while simultaneously expanding. A blank sheet is formed into a box that stabilizes slit paper sheet wound around a core member.
LOCKABLE PACKAGING
A package (90) includes an outer sleeve (60) and a drawer (50) that is slidably receivable in the outer sleeve (60). The package further includes a two-part locking mechanism for releasably locking the drawer within the outer sleeve. The first part is provided by the outer sleeve, and the second part by the drawer as a locking flap (52) hingedly connected to a rear end of a top panel (106) of the drawer (50). The locking flap is folded outwardly of the drawer toward a forward end of the top panel to be releasably engaged with the first part of the locking mechanism.
Carton With Article Engagement Features
A carton for holding at least one article. The carton has a plurality of panels that extends at least partially around an interior of the carton. A plurality of end flaps are respectively foldably connected to a respective panel of the plurality of panels for closing an end of the carton. An engagement structure is attached to at least one panel of the plurality of panels. The engagement structure is positioned for receiving the at least one article and activating the at least one article.
Carton With Article Engagement Features
A carton for holding at least one article. The carton has a plurality of panels that extends at least partially around an interior of the carton. At least one end flap is respectively foldably connected to a respective panel of the plurality of panels for at least partially closing an end of the carton. An engagement structure is attached to at least one panel of the plurality of panels. The engagement structure is positioned for receiving the at least one article and activating the at least one article.
DEVICE FOR PACKAGING AND COOKING POPCORN AND AUTOMATED METHOD FOR CLOSING SUCH A DEVICE
A device for cooking corn kernels for making popcorn comprising a non-folding volume and a folding volume. The folding volume is configured to take up at least two positions, a first position in which the folding volume is folded and a second position in which it is unfolded. The folding volume includes four walls and at least two walls include a diagonal fold. Additionally, each wall includes a first horizontal fold that is parallel to an edge of the device formed by the non-folding volume. In the first position the non-folding volume is limited one or more of the four walls. At least one opening, in at least one of the side walls, has a horizontal orientation in the first position and a vertical orientation in the second position. The opening does not intersect a diagonal fold.
RECLOSABLE CARTON WITH CARRYING HANDLE
A carton for storing products therein includes top, bottom, and side panels defining an interior configured to store products therein and an access opening configured to permit the products to be removed from the carton when the carton is in an open configuration. The top panels include a first top panel hingedly attached to one of the side panels and a second top panel hingedly connected to another of the side panels. The second top panel includes a handle surrounding an opening and a closure tab extending into the opening. The first top panel includes a slot configured to receive one or more locking projections of the closure tab.
CORRUGATED CONTAINER WITH BULGE CONTROL
Wall panels for a corrugated paper board container have bulge control lines formed therein to control the bending of the wall panels as the container is loaded with contents, such as liquid containing contents. The bulge control lines are configured to control the bending of the wall panels to mitigate the possibility of undesirable spouting that makes the containers more difficult to store.
Container with locking tab closure
Herein is provided a container including a plurality of sidewalls (3, 7, 9) connected to one another along foldlines, and a base. The base includes first, second, third and fourth base flaps (11, 13, 15, 17) connected along respective foldlines to respective sidewalls. The second and third base flaps (13, 15) are folded over the first base flap (11) and the fourth base flap (17) is folded over the second and third base flaps (13, 15). The fourth base flap (17) includes a base panel portion which forms part of the exterior of the base and a locking tab portion connected to a distal end of the base panel portion. The locking tab portion is inserted into the interior of the container through a slot defined by the first, second and third base flaps (11, 13, 15) to retain the base in a closed configuration. A cutline is provided extending inwardly from the side edge of the fourth base flap (17) on each side of the fourth base flap (17) at a transition between the base panel portion and the locking tab portion.
