Methods and machine for forming a two-piece blank assembly
A machine for forming a joined blank assembly from first and second blanks of sheet material includes a deck coupled to a frame, and a first transfer assembly associated with the frame. The first transfer assembly is configured to position the first blank on the deck. The machine also includes a second transfer assembly associated with the frame. The second transfer assembly is configured to position the second blank in at least a partially overlying relationship to the first blank on the deck. The machine further includes at least one compression member configured to compress the second blank and the first blank together against the deck to form the joined blank assembly.
TAMPER RESISTANT CONTAINER AND BLANK THEREFOR
A container comprising an insert and a sleeve which encloses the insert is disclosed. A blank of resilient sheet material comprising a first, second, third and fourth sequential adjoining rectangular panels are folded along their three shared side edges to form the sleeve having a rectangular cross-section, with a locking tab adjoining the first rectangular panel. An insert having a rectangular cross-section slightly smaller than the sleeve cross-section, and a mating locking tab are configured such that when the front end of the insert is substantially inserted into the front end of the sleeve, the back edges of the sleeve locking tab and the insert locking tab abut one another such that the insert may be removed only upon application of pressure at opposed locations on the exterior of the sleeve to cause the sleeve to bow outward and away from the insert.
INSULATED BLOCK PACKAGING ASSEMBLY
A packaging assembly includes first insulation blocks, second insulation blocks, and third insulation blocks, each insulation block arranged in contact with at least one other insulation block to define a void, the packaging assembly including at least one enclosure, the insulation blocks at least partially surrounded by the at least one enclosure.
APPARATUS TO HOUSE BOTANICALS DURING TRANSPORT
An apparatus for housing botanicals during transport is disclosed. The apparatus may be configured to convert to a display assembly for the botanicals. The apparatus may include: a covering component having a primary opening on one end and a permeable structure on a second end; a sleeve component having a support structure on one end and a receiving opening on a second end, the sleeve component being configured to be partially inserted into the covering component; a holding component having a secondary opening at one end and a water-tight chamber wall at the other end, the holding component being configured to be partially inserted into the sleeve component, such that the secondary opening is positioned within the sleeve component; in order facilitate converting the apparatus into a display assembly, the covering component is removed from the sleeve component and the holding component is inserted into the covering component.
METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR MANUFACTURING A PACKAGE, AND PACKAGE THUS FORMED
A method for manufacturing a package composed of two cardboard bases and a window extending on the lateral faces between the cardboard bases involves preparing cardboard cutouts by cutting out, from a sheet, two parts that correspond, respectively, to the shape of the first and second cardboard base joined together by separable connecting zones. The cutouts are placed on a conveyor belt. Pressing rollers are applied to the cutouts and one of the rollers in contact with one of the parts is slowed down with respect to the roller in contact with the other part in order to cause tearing of the separable zones. The two parts are repositioned by moving them apart by a distance corresponding to the height of the window. The window is deposited in order to bond the edges on the corresponding edges of the parts, which are thus repositioned.
TWO IN ONE COMBINATION DISPLAY BOX
A container includes a tray portion configured for holding and displaying product. A cover portion is seated in the tray portion for forming an enclosure around product in the tray portion. The tray portion and the cover portion have the same length and breadth. An opening of the cover portion and/or an opening of the tray portion is slotted with open ended slots to allow at least a portion of the opening of the cover portion and/or a portion of the opening of the tray portion to be biased inward.

The tray portion and the cover portion have the same length and breadth. An opening of the cover portion seated in the tray portion is slotted with open ended slots to allow the opening to be biased inward for the opening of the cover to fit within and to be seated in the tray portion.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PROTECTIVE PACKAGING STRUCTURE
A packaging structure for at least one article includes a pair of generally rectangular support structures with front, side, rear, and interior walls. The walls divide the rectangular support structure into a plurality of triangular sections. The front and interior walls contain a least one opening configured to correspond with the configuration of the article to hold and secure the article in place. The packaging structure is created from a rectangular blank made of foldable material that has a plurality of spaced vertical fold lines, panels, and aligned openings each configured to correspond with the configuration of the article. The packaging structure is formed by folding the blank along the fold lines and securing the blank in the folded condition. The blanks are formed first within computer aided design software by determining the dimensions and profile of a packaging structure, forming openings for an article in a packaging structure, unfolding the packaging structure within the design software into a flat pattern to form a master blank, and using the master blank to create cutting dies for forming additional blanks.
METHODS AND MACHINE FOR FORMING A TWO-PIECE BLANK ASSEMBLY
A machine for forming a joined blank assembly from first (10) and second (210) blanks of sheet material includes a deck (1250) coupled to a frame (1002), and a first transfer assembly (1202) associated with the frame. The first transfer assembly is configured to position the first blank on the deck. The machine also includes a second transfer assembly (1302) associated with the frame. The second transfer assembly is configured to position the second blank in at least a partially overlying relationship to the first blank on the deck. The machine further includes at least one compression member (1340) configured to compress the second blank and the first blank together against the deck to form the joined blank assembly.
