Method and system for forming packages
A system and method of at least partially forming reinforced packages. The method comprises moving a web of material in a downstream direction through a web forming section, at least partially forming at least a bag portion in the web of material during the moving the web of material through the web forming section, forming an attached web by adhering a construct to the bag portion of the web of material, and moving the attached web through a separating station. The moving the attached web can comprise moving the construct with the web of material. The method further can comprise separating the bag portion from a remainder of the web of material to form a bag during the moving the attached web through the separating station, the bag being attached to the construct.
Foldable and collapsible storage containers including foldable storage volume partitions
A foldable and collapsible storage container with a bottom wall, and two pairs of parallel side walls. The bottom wall, first pair of side walls and second pair of side walls define a storage volume. A foldable storage volume partition may include a partition wall that extends between the third side wall and the fourth side wall and supports the third side wall and the fourth side wall in an upright position. The foldable storage partition may include a partition bottom hingedly connected to the partition wall that faces the bottom wall. The third and fourth side walls each may include fold locations that divide the third and fourth side walls into a first part and a second part. The partition may engage the third and fourth side walls to inhibit folding of the third and fourth side walls.
Carton and carton blank
A carton of the gable top style for packaging one or more articles. The carton includes a plurality of panels for forming walls of the carton including: a first side panel; a first end panel having an upper portion and a lower portion; a web panel formed from part of the upper portion and hinged to the first side panel. The carton is convertible from a flat collapsed form into an erected form. In the flat collapsed form, the first side panel is disposed in an overlying or face to face relationship with the first end panel. In the erected form, the first side panel and the first end panel form walls of a tubular structure and define at least in part an interior of the carton for receiving one or more articles.
A PACKAGING MATERIAL, AND A PACKAGE
A packaging material for producing a sealed package of a pourable food product is provided. The packaging material can include a first set of crease lines configured to form an upper end of the package when the packaging material is folded along said first set of crease lines, a second set of crease lines configured to form a bottom end of the package when the packaging material is folded along said second set of crease lines, and a third set of crease lines, said third set of crease lines being separated in order to define longitudinal panels extending in between said third set of crease lines. The longitudinal panels can include a first panel having a horizontal crease line, and a second panel arranged adjacent to said first panel when the package is formed, the second panel having at least one vertical crease line.
BULK PRODUCT CONTAINER SYSTEM
A container system for shipping product in bulk, having a corrugated container sleeve and a pallet for supporting the sleeve thereon, the pallet having a channel configured to receive therein a bottom edge of the sleeve, and the pallet with said sleeve defining an internal section of the container system in which the bulk product is contained.
PACKAGING CONTAINER AND DISPOSAL METHOD FOR THE SAME
A packaging container formed by folding a sheet material and includes a container body that has a trunk, a top and a bottom. The trunk serves as side panels, while the top and the bottom are respectively connected to ends of the trunk. In the packaging container, a first weakened portion is linearly formed in the container body.
Reinforced Package
A reinforced package comprising a carton comprising a plurality of panels that extends at least partially around an interior of the carton. The plurality of panels can comprise a front panel and a back panel disposed opposite to the front panel. The carton can comprise a bottom wall foldably connected to the front panel along a first curved fold line and to the back panel along a second curved fold line. The reinforced package further can include a bag at least partially attached to the carton. The bag can be at least partially defining an interior space for holding a product. The carton can be positionable in a non-erect position and in an erect position. At least the bottom wall and the first curved fold line can be configured to retain the carton in the erect position.
ONE-PIECE, FOLDABLE COOLER
A cooler includes panels defining a storage area; corner panels; top panels forming a lid; a first handle panel connected to a first top panel and having a slot formed therein; a second handle panel connected to a second top panel and having a slot formed therein; and a first tab panel connected to a corner panel and having a tab defining a recess, the tab being configured to extend through the slot of the first handle panel and through the slot of the second handle panel for locking the handle panels and top panels in a fully closed, carry configuration of the cooler. Portions of the first and second handle panels are received within the recess defined by the tab. The second handle panel can be unlocked and the storage area accessed while holding the cooler with the first handle panel.
Reusable bulk-sized shipping box
Provided herein is a collapsible bulk-sized shipping box made of corrugated plastic. The rectangular box comprises four joined sidewalls, wherein left and right sidewalls are bisected by vertical fold lines allowing the sidewalls to be collapsed inwards. Bottom flaps also extend from the bottom of respective sidewalls and hinge inward about a fold line to provide a bottom side of the box when in use or fold flush with the sidewall when collapsed. The front wall of the box comprises a door flap that hinges inward and outward about a fold line. In addition, a door retaining puck attached to an outer surface of the front wall and configured to resist the door flap opening outward but deflect under application of sufficient force thereby allowing the door flap to open outward completely and provide access to the interior of the box.
COOLER APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MAKING FROM FOLDING SINGLE SHEET OF CORRUGATED MATERIAL
A box is made by folding a sheet of material. Preferably, the box is formed by applying adhesive and folding using a machine, and a waterproof or water resistant coating is applied so that the box is configured for use as a cooler. The box includes (a) a storage portion, including a bottom panel, a first end panel, a second end panel, a first side panel, and a second side panel; (b) four corner panels; (c) a top panel including tabs; and (d) a latching panel attached to the first side panel and pivotable relative thereto about a fold line, the latching panel including first and second subpanels. The latching panel includes cuts extending between and dividing the first and second subpanels through which the tabs respectively extend when the cooler is in a closed position.
