Modular box assembly
A modular box assembly includes a box having a top end, an opposed bottom end, and side panels extending from the top end to the bottom end. A bottom panel is disposed at the bottom end such that the side panels and the bottom panel define a box cavity and the top end defines a box opening. A shoulder is attached to two side panel and extends inward from the side panels into the box cavity, wherein each shoulder is spaced from the top end a predetermined distance. A box top covers the box opening, the box top being selectively movable about and between a closed position and an open position. In the closed position, the top panel engages the shoulders to support the top panel, and in the closed position an upper surface of the top panel is substantially flush with the top end of the box.

Corrugated cardboard cooler
A box is made by folding a sheet of material. Preferably, the box is formed by applying adhesive and folding using a machine, and a waterproof or water-resistant coating is applied to the sheet of material so that the box is configured for use as a cooler. The box includes: a storage portion, including a bottom panel, first and second end panels, and first and second side panels; four corner panels; and first and second top panels. The top panels include openings that register when the box is assembled and in a closed configuration to define an opening to be used as a handhold for gripping the box. Reinforcing panels of one of the top panels includes flaps located on an interior of the box that cover the handhold opening. The box further preferably includes a locking tab and locking panel for latching closed the top panels of the box.

CONTAINER HAVING IMPROVED COMPRESSION STRENGTH
The present invention is directed to a container having increased compression strength. Embodiments of the container comprise a pair of opposing side walls, each of which may include at least one layer of corrugated board having horizontal fluting and at least one layer of corrugated board having vertical fluting. Embodiments of the container also comprise a pair of opposing end walls, each of which may include at least one layer of corrugated board having horizontal fluting and at least one layer of corrugated board having vertical fluting. Embodiments of the container may be prepared from a single blank of corrugated board and may have a bottom surface that is integral with each of the side walls and each of the end walls so as to be considered leak proof. Embodiments of the container may also be configured to be collapsible to a substantially flat arrangement.
Modular box assembly
A method of assembling a box includes providing the box, the box comprising a center panel, a first locking panel, a second locking panel, a first side flap panel, and a second side flap panel; folding the first side flap panel and second side flap panel relative to the center panel; folding the first locking panel relative to the center panel, the first locking panel defining a locking slot; folding the second locking panel relative to the center panel at least partially over the first locking panel, the second locking panel defining a locking tab; and engaging the locking slot with the locking tab.
Box with foldable handle
A box can include a first side panel; a second side panel positioned perpendicular to the first side panel; a top panel joined to the first side panel; and a handle assembly, the handle assembly including: a handle portion attached the top panel, the handle portion including a tab at a side end of the handle portion, and a locking panel attached to the second side panel, the locking panel defining a cut pattern, the cut pattern including a first side cut and a second side cut, a flap defined between the first side cut and the second side cut, the first side cut diverging into an inner cut extending along a bottom of the flap and an outer cut defining a space below the bottom of the flap, a portion of the second side cut extending along the bottom of the flap.
