All-in-one gift packaging system

A system for a greeting card. The greeting card has a planar greeting card portion and a greeting card cover moveably coupled to the planar greeting card portion. The greeting card cover can move from an open position whereby the planar greeting card portion is readable to a closed position adjacent to said planar greeting card portion whereby the planar greeting card portion is not readable. The greeting card portion is coupled to a gift storage compartment which has a volume and a depth for storing an item. The greeting card cover can open and close without moving the gift storage compartment.

The container includes a box containing at least one consumer good, the box having a top wall, a bottom wall, a front wall, a back wall, a first side wall, a second side wall and a ramp element depending from the first side wall and extending into the box, wherein the at least one first consumer good is positioned between the ramp element and the top wall, and the top wall defines an access opening extending over at least a part of the ramp element, and a lid flap connected to the box along a first hinge line. The lid flap is movable between a closed position in which the access opening on the top wall is covered and an open position in which the access opening on the top wall is exposed and the consumer goods are removable from the box. The blank is configured to form the container.

Packaging Assembly

A frame (10) used in a packaging assembly for retaining a product within a box. The frame includes a panel (16) having a panel width (W1) greater than the box width. A front panel flap fold zone (26) corresponds to the front closure flap fold line of the box. A rear panel flap fold zone (30) corresponds to the rear closure flap fold line of the box. A central panel portion (34) extends between the front and rear panel flap fold zones. Front and rear panel flaps (36, 38) extend from the front panel flap fold zone and the rear panel flap fold zone, respectively. A detachment line (40) extends from the left edge (19) to the right edge (20) of the panel in the central panel portion to delineate front and rear central panel portions (42, 44). A sheet (18) extends across the central panel portion and attaches to the panel at opposing regions of the panel outside of the central panel portion.

Method of making blank

The method includes establishing a blank with a bottom wall, the blank including a first sidewall and a second sidewall on opposing ends of the bottom wall and a lid panel and a top panel on opposing sides of the bottom wall, first folding the first sidewall and the second sidewall to be perpendicular to the bottom wall such that an end panel of a ramp contacts the bottom wall, the ramp being directly connected to a first edge of the first sidewall, second folding the top panel into a first closed position such that a first top wall of the top panel is parallel to the bottom wall as the first top wall at least partially covers the ramp, and third folding the lid panel into a second closed position such that a second top wall of the lid panel covers the first top wall.

A foldable lid for a box-type container includes a promotional panel that has a printable surface disposed on the same side of the blank used to create the lid as the other printing surfaces of the lid. When the blank is printed, material can be added to the promotional panel at the same time and with the same equipment as the other surfaces of the lid. When the lid is assembled, the promotional panel is disposed on the inside of the main body panel of the lid facing the cavity of the container. When the user removes the lid, the promotional panel can be viewed.

The multiple sheets comprise an outer sheet foldably connected to an upper edge of one of the side walls. The folding booklet is folded against an interior surface of the one of the side walls. The remaining sheets of the folding booklet are arranged between the outer sheet and the side wall.
