Method for realising a cardboard blank from a cardboard for packaging and for boxing at least an article with the cardboard blank
11834209 · 2023-12-05 · ·

Forming a cardboard blank includes making two score lines on a cardboard sheet to define a central sector with three portions and two lateral sectors. Four cuts are made in a direction transverse to the score lines to form in one lateral sector a first closing flap and first and second reinforcing flaps and, in the other lateral sector, a second closing flap and third and fourth reinforcing flaps. The first and second closing flaps are folded at respective score lines, and one portion folded to cover a flank of an article on another portion so the first and third reinforcing flaps project. A third portion is folded to cover another flank and an upper article face so the second and fourth reinforcing flaps project. A band folds the first two reinforcing flaps towards the first closing flap and the third and fourth reinforcing flaps towards the second closing flap.

Merchandise storage and display mount

A merchandise storage and display mount includes a support that fits within a recess of the merchandise to be stored and displayed. The merchandise can be a five-sided protective case for a hand-held electronic device. The case defines an recess that receives a portion of the mount. The mount is formed from a foldable material and can be erected from a flat blank by folding the material and gluing at selected locations. The mount includes stiffeners that add durability to the mount. The mount is durable and can be used in combination with different merchandise storage devices.

METHOD FOR FORMING REINFORCED POLYGONAL CONTAINERS FROM BLANKS

A method of forming a container from a blank of sheet material using a machine is provided. The method includes forming a corner wall by folding a first pair of a plurality of reinforcing panels inwardly towards a respective side panel and into face-to-face contact with a second pair of the plurality of reinforcing panels, rotating the side panels and end panels to be substantially perpendicular to a bottom panel such that an interior surface of at least one reinforcing panel of the plurality of reinforcing panels is in contact with an interior surface of the first side panel, and coupling at least one other reinforcing panel of the plurality of reinforcing panels to one of the end panels to form the container.

Carton and carton blank

Aspects of the disclosure relate to a carton (90) for packaging one or more articles (B). The carton (90) comprises a plurality of panels (12, 14, 16, 18) for forming a tubular structure. The plurality of panels comprises: a first side wall panel (12); a first end wall panel (14); a second side wall panel (16); and a second end wall panel (18). A first handle structure (H) is defined in a first one of the plurality of panels (12). The first handle structure (H) comprises a severance line (60) defining at least in part a handle opening. A first end closure panel (22b) forms, at least in part, a top wall (22b/24b/26b/28b) which at least partially closes an upper end of the tubular structure and is hingedly connected to the first one of the plurality of panels (12) by a first hinged connection (23b).

STACKABLE SHELF TRAY

A fluid carton assembly for dispensing and storing a liquid beverage includes a beverage carton for storing a liquid beverage. The beverage carton has a pair of flaps each being positionable in an open position to pour the liquid beverage. The flaps are positionable in a closed position to contain the liquid beverage. A slide is slidably coupled to each of the flaps. The slide is slidable into a closing position thereby retaining the flaps in the closed position. The slide is slidable into an opening position thereby facilitating the flaps to be positioned in the open position.

SAG-RESISTANT CONTAINERS AND BLANKS FOR MAKING THE SAME
20210101715 · 2021-04-08 · ·

A container formed from a blank and a method for constructing the container are described. The container includes a bottom wall, two end walls, each end wall including at least an end panel extending from an end edge of the bottom wall, and two side walls. The container further includes an upper reinforcing assembly at least partially extending from each end panel, and a side reinforcing assembly extending from opposing side edges of each end panel.

Carton with impact-resistant features

A carton for holding one or more articles includes a plurality of panels that extends at least partially around an interior of the carton and at least partially forming a body portion of the carton. The carton further includes at least one impact-resistant feature extending away from the body portion of the carton.

BIAXIALLY TWISTED STRUCTURE
20230406564 · 2023-12-21 ·

The present invention provides a biaxially twisted structure having curved developable surfaces which can be represented by a simple net. The net is in a two-dimensional shape of two congruent rotationally symmetric convex polygons misalignedly connected along a shared edge. A three-dimensional shape of the structure can be reconstructed from the net by sequentially connecting its edges. The structure has a unique design and mechanical feature, which can be utilized as a box, container, part, toy, building and so on.

Machine and method for forming reinforced polygonal containers from blanks

A method of forming a container from a blank of sheet material using a machine is provided. The blank includes a bottom panel, two side panels, two end panels, and a reinforcing panel assembly extending from a first side panel. The machine includes a hopper station, a corner post forming station, and a plunger station. The method includes rotating the reinforcing panel assembly upwardly toward the first side panel as the blank is transported from the hopper station to the corner post forming station, forming a corner wall and a reinforcing end tab by folding reinforcing panels about fold lines as the blank is transported through the corner post forming station, rotating the side panels and the end panels to be substantially perpendicular to the bottom panel by directing the blank through the plunger station, and coupling the reinforcing end tab to an end panel to form the container.
