The housing can define a chamber and the cover can move between an open configuration and a closed configuration. A plurality of pouches can be disposed in the chamber, and each pouch from the plurality of pouches can contain a strip having a nutrient disposed therein. In some embodiments, each pouch can contain a single strip. In some embodiments, the housing can be composed of a biodegradable material. In some embodiments, the housing can be composed of paper, cardboard, biodegradable plastic, KAPA® board, polyurethane, poster board, or any combination thereof. In some embodiments, each of the plurality of individual pouches can be composed of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene, polyvinyl chloride, polyamide, polycarbonate, polyoxymethylene, polyurethane, or any combination thereof.
Paperboard Trays With Recycleable Interior Liner Forming Leakproof Corners
An apparatus and method utilizes a forming machine which includes a mandrel and forming plate each shaped to conform the paperboard and/or corrugated material blank passing through the mandrel into the desired configuration for a leak-proof tray. The blank includes a layer of a suitable paperboard and/or corrugated material, and a layer of leak-proof plastic or paper material disposed over one side of the corrugated material. The corrugated material includes cutouts at each corner of the blank that enable the sides and ends of the blank to be folded relative to one another. The paper material continuously overlaps the surface of the corrugated layer and these cutouts to provide a continuous leak-proof barrier layer within the formed tray and at the corners of the blank when folded to form the tray, as the paper material is folded over itself to form a bellows corner in the tray.
Product package and a method for producing the package
The object of the invention is a product package and a method for producing the product package. The product package comprises a recess (1a) for the product to be packed, the recess being provided with a base and with walls in connection with the base, in which case the frame part (2) of the recess (1a) has been formed by means of folds from recyclable fiber material and the aforementioned recess (1a) is lined on the inside with a separate inner lining (3), which is removable from the aforementioned frame part. The top edges of the side walls and end walls of the frame part and also the top edges of the corner parts (10) form the top edge of the recess, which top edge is arranged to function as a fastening surface for the inner lining (3), which inner lining (3) is adapted to comprise an edge section (4) extending over the top edge (5a) of the recess (1a).
Resealable container including easy open tab
A container comprises a housing that comprises a box and a lid that is hingedly attached to the box. The lid comprises a bottom edge. The box comprises a front wall and a rear wall. The container also comprises an inner package disposed at least partially within the housing and at least partially defining an interior volume for housing consumer goods. The inner package is configured to open and close when the lid of the housing is opened and closed. The inner package comprises an access opening and a sealing flap. The sealing flap comprises a tab that has a bottom edge. The bottom edge of the tab is positioned below the bottom edge of the lid when the lid is in a closed position.
Bonding label
A web of bonding labels includes a face stock and a release liner. A top side adhesive layer extends on top of a top surface of the face stock and a top side release liner extends over the top side adhesive layer, wherein the top side release liner includes at least one aperture of exposing a corresponding portion of the underlying top side adhesive layer. The face stock has a second adhesive layer on a bottom surface of the face stock. The release liner has a second release layer on a top surface of the release liner arranged to protect the second adhesive layer on the bottom surface of the face stock and a third release layer on a bottom surface of the release liner. The face stock is separated into a succession of bonding labels carried on the release liner such that each bonding label includes a portion of the top side release liner having at least one aperture exposing a corresponding portion of the underlying top side adhesive layer.
External packaging for safeguarding at least one package during transportation
A process for safeguarding a product during transportation includes forming a package by surrounding a product with packaging material and accommodating the package in an external packaging that includes a carrier element and a bag element. The carrier element includes an upper side including a border and a lower side opposite the upper side, wherein the lower side includes a base. Further, the bag element includes a base and a bag opening with a border opposite the base of the bag element. The package is accommodated in the external packaging by loading the package onto the carrier element such that the package is carried by the carrier element and loading the carrier element via the bag opening into the bag element such that the bag element surrounds the carrier element and the bag element extends on the upper side of the carrier element beyond the border of the carrier element.
Product package and a method for producing the package
A product package is disclosed having e a frame part with a recess for a product and a removable inner lining. The frame part includes a base and connected side walls, end walls, and corner parts. The side and end walls each include a first part folded from the base and a second part folded from the first part toward the base. The side and end wall second parts include a cut edge which is fitted into the recess of the package, and the inner lining is fitted on top of the second parts so as to enclose the cut edges. The inner lining also includes an edge section which forms an edge flange extending over top edges of the frame part and a package lid which is arranged to be fastened to said flange.
