The disclosure relates to packaging that may be used to hold retail products for transport and storage and where the packaging may be adapted into a display tray to display the products contained therein. The packaging includes a top portion and a tray portion which are defined by a separation line. To display products, a user separates the top portion and tray portion along the separation line and retains the tray portion which contains products for display.

BOX-IN-BOX CONTAINER

A box blank useful for forming a container includes a first layer comprising paperboard, a second layer comprising a paper layer and a foil layer, and an adhesive layer adhering the first layer to the second layer, wherein the foil layer is between the paperboard and the paper layer.

CARTON FOR PRODUCT AND LITERATURE INSERT

An apparatus and method provides a carton having a ramp or holding portion that holds a literature insert against two adjacent side panels of the carton to permit filling of the carton with a product. A folded literature insert may be folded fewer times so as to be thinner and provide more room for the product in the carton. The ramp or holding portion is shaped to hold the insert in position during automated filing of the carton. The ramp has first and second ramp portions folded on one another, a step extending over an edge of the insert, a landing on the insert, and an edge of the ramp that presses the insert against an adjoining side panel of the carton. The holding portion includes first and second legs extending form an assembly flap and having an end tab for attachment to a side panel

Provided is a method for producing a self-adhesive to be arranged on a package comprising a space to store contents and an opening by which the space and an outside communicate, wherein the opening is repeatedly openable and sealable by the self-adhesive that consists of a cross-linking material of a resin composition containing a (meth)acrylic acid ester copolymer resin having a glass transition temperature of 22.8 C. or more, and a crosslinking agent. The method comprises making the resin composition that contains the (meth)acrylic acid ester copolymer resin, and the crosslinking agent, the resin composition being either emulsion or dispersion; and cross-linking the resin composition.

Method for retrieving a shut state and/or a location of a closable container

The invention relates to closable containers and a method for retrieving a shut state and/or a location of a closable container, wherein the container has at least one RFID chip having a connected near field antenna and a far field antenna. The RFID chip is arranged at the first or at the second container part and the far field antenna is arranged at the other one of the first and second container part, respectively. In the closed position of the container, a noncontact electromagnetic coupling takes place between the near field antenna and the far field antenna. Due to the interaction of a sending unit and a receiving unit, a response signal can by generated by RFID chip and transmitted. The range of said response signal depending on the shut position of the container.

Re-closeable tear open pack, a blank for forming the pack, and a method of making the pack

The pack includes a box structure defining an inner cavity. A side of the box structure is sealed by a first adhesive. A lower end of the pack is sealed by a second adhesive connecting a rear surface of a lower panel of a front panel to a front surface of a lower glue panel of a back panel. The upper portion of the pack is circumscribed by perforated lines that cause the upper portion to remain connected to the tuck panel if the upper end of the pack is opened. The blank for forming the pack includes an upper portion of a back panel that is circumscribed by perforated lines. The method of making the pack includes applying an adhesive to the upper portion of the back panel and connecting a rear surface of a tuck panel to the upper portion.

Tamper-evident container

A tamper-evident container comprising a storage having at least one passage opening delimited by a free edge and configured to put in communication the internal volume of the storage with the external environment; the sheet material of the storage wraps at least partially on itself in order to form an overlapping zone which comprises at least one first constraining portion and one second constraining portion engaged with each other: on the second constraining portion at least one notch is defined. The container further comprises a closure system engaged at said free edge and movable with respect to the storage; the closure system being configured for defining at least one closing condition in which the system itself interdicts the communication between the internal volume of the storage and the external environment and an opening condition in which the system itself enables the communication between the internal volume and external environment.
