The first side of the package may have an outer first surface of the film and outwardly extending first corner seals formed in the film at the edges of the first side and surrounding the first side of the package. The package may also have a second side disposed opposite the first side and outwardly extending second corner seals formed in the film at the edges of the second side and surrounding the second side of the package.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A LAMINATED PACKAGING MATERIAL, THE PACKAGING MATERIAL OBTAINED BY THE METHOD AND PACKAGING CONTAINERS MANUFACTURED THEREFROM
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing of a laminated cellulose-based liquid or semi-liquid food packaging material, wherein the laminated packaging material has a bulk material layer comprising a low-density cellulose spacer layer, an outside module comprising a substrate layer having a print surface and an inside material module comprising a barrier layer or barrier coating. The invention further relates the laminated packaging materials obtained by the method and to a packaging container for liquid food packaging, comprising the laminated packaging material or being made from the laminated packaging material obtained by the method.
Dual spout and dual chamber carton
A carton with dual, separate, and independent, but adjoining chambers is described; wherein each separate, independent, and adjoining chamber has its own respective spout and removably coupled lid to provide removable closure and access to the given chamber. Such cartons may be used in methods for removably housing (and/or dispensing) a first liquid edible item from a first-chamber and for removably housing (and/or dispensing) a second liquid edible item from a second-chamber. Together the first-chamber and the second-chamber may form the carton. External dimensions of such a carton may be standard. In some embodiments, the first liquid edible item and/or the second liquid edible item may be selected from one or more of: different types of beverages; different types of milks (1%, 2%, skim, whole, non-fat, chocolate, strawberry, and the like); different types of juices, and/or the like.
Spout stopper and packaging container
Provided are a spout stopper that prevents a decrease in sealing performance to a cap without deterioration of liquid-shutting-off performance of a stopper body, and a packaging container using the spout stopper. The spout stopper includes: a stopper body including a cylindrical side wall; and a cap to be mounted from an upper end side that is one end of the side wall. A projection is formed at an upper end edge of the side wall so as to project outward from the side wall, and a top surface at an upper end of the side wall is in surface contact with a predetermined contact surface inside a cap over an entire circumference thereof in a state where the cap is mounted on the side wall.
LID ASSEMBLY FOR A PACKAGE, LID-SPOUT GROUP FOR A PACKAGE AND PACKAGE HAVING A LID-SPOUT GROUP
A lid assembly comprises a coupling ring, a lid and a connecting unit connecting the lid to the coupling ring. The lid comprises a cover wall configured to cover a pouring outlet and a sealing ring protruding away from the cover wall and configured to interact with a collar carrying the pouring outlet to seal the pouring outlet. The sealing ring comprises at least a first ring portion and a second ring portion. The first ring portion comprises a first end spaced apart from the cover wall and the second ring portion comprises a second end spaced apart from the cover wall. A first distance of the first end from the cover wall with respect to a normal axis of the cover wall is greater than a second distance of the second end from the cover wall with respect to the normal axis.
AN ASSEMBLY FOR PRODUCING SEALED PACKAGING UNITS
An assembly for producing sealed packaging units (14) from a sheet packaging material, comprises: an advancement device (21) for advancing the sheet packaging material along an advancement direction (F), a longitudinal sealing device for sealing opposite borders of the sheet packaging material along a longitudinal sealing band arranged parallelly to the advancement direction (F), thereby forming a continuous tube (15), a transverse sealing device (29) for sealing the continuous tube (15) transversely to the advancement direction (F), so as to define a sealed packaging unit (14). The transverse sealing device (29) comprises a sealing element (30) and an abutment element (31) that are intended to mutually cooperate during sealing while being located on opposite sides of the continuous tube (15). The sealing element (30) is so configured as to act on a side (27) of the continuous tube (15) on which the longitudinal sealing band is provided.
Systems and methods for customized fermented beverages
A system for making a personalized malt-based beverage may comprise at least one packaged base liquid and at least one separately packaged flavor ingredient. The at least one packaged base liquid may comprise at least about 0.1% wt ethyl alcohol, at least about 3% wt malt extract solids, and a carbon dioxide level between about zero grams per liter and about 1.5 grams per liter. The separately packaged flavor ingredient may comprise a dry ingredient.
Package Sleeve, Package and Method for Manufacturing a Package
Provided is a package sleeve made of a composite material for the manufacture of a package, including: a front surface, a rear surface, two side surfaces, base surfaces and gable surfaces which are arranged on opposite sides of the two side surfaces, the front surface and the rear surface, and a longitudinal seam which connects two edges of the composite material to form a package sleeve. The package sleeve has several fold lines. The two side surfaces have a secondary fold line running therethrough. The package sleeve is folded along both secondary fold lines. The package sleeve is open both in the region of the base surfaces and in the region of the gable surfaces. Also provided are a package and a method for manufacturing a package.
