A container for dispensing beverages is provided. The container includes at least six side walls coupled together along a plurality of parallel fold lines. The at least six side walls include two end panels and at least two side panels, and the at least six side walls define a substantially cylindrical shape of the container. A bottom wall is coupled to at least one of the two end panels, wherein a shape of the bottom wall corresponding to a cross-sectional shape of the at least six side walls. The container further includes a spout cutout removably defined in a first end panel of the two end panels proximate to a fold line connecting the first end panel to the bottom wall.

Container with high moisture barrier properties and a reclosable pour spout

A paperboard substrate that can be used to provide a food packaging particle is provided having a water vapor barrier layer comprising HDPE in combination with a nucleating agent which is extruded on to a paperboard substrate. The resulting substrate has sufficiently good water vapor barrier when properties that dry foods such as cereals do not require a bag or inner liner as a separate moisture barrier.

The lid-spout assembly comprises an interaction assembly partially associated to the collar and partially associated to the lid and being designed such to determine a threshold force needed to be exceeded, in use, in order to control the lid from the closed configuration to the open configuration.
