PACKAGE, SPOUT FOR A PACKAGE AND PACKAGE-SPOUT ASSEMBLY
There is described a package-spout assembly having a package having a pour opening surface area and a reusable spout. The package comprises a first fastening device being arranged adjacent to the pour opening surface area and the spout comprises a second fastening device. The first fastening device and the second fastening device are configured such to removably and/or releasably couple the spout onto the package.
Multi-compartment container
Described herein are multi-unit storage devices where two separate compartments are joined in a manner such that accessing one of the compartments does not compromise product held in the other compartment. The separate compartments may be vacuum or otherwise sealed such that when the seal is broken, access to the products contained therein is provided. Each of the compartments may be independently sealed.
Pouring closure
Pouring closure for liquid containers with pour spout sealingly fixed to a container neck, the cross section of which is closed by a membrane before use. A portion of the membrane extends transversely, approximately pear-shaped, and connected to the remaining portion via an easily tearable line of weakness and can be detached from the membrane. After detachment, an opening in the membrane is released that is correspondingly pear-shape, and liquid poured selectively out of a relatively narrower section or wider section. The pouring closure is produced by tearing out a membrane section and facilitates dosed pouring. Webs on the inner surface at a close distance parallel to the line of weakness and outside the tear-out section run on both sides of the narrow section of the tear-out portion or of the opening and along at least a portion of a transition region between the narrower and the wider sections.
PAPER CONTAINER
A paper container having a top portion (4) that is tightly closed by bonding together opposing surfaces of first top sealing panels (20) and opposing surfaces of second top sealing panels (22), and each of side panels (16) is folded along a first side panel folding line (26) and a second side panel folding line (27) to form a flap (35) having a substantially triangular shape. The top portion (4) is formed by folding down the flaps (35) onto right and left side surfaces of a tubular body (3) through mountain-folding along front-side top panel vertical folding lines (17), front-side top panel vertical folding lines (18), and front-side top sealing vertical folding lines (23), and through valley-folding along second top portion horizontal folding lines (15) and back-side top sealing vertical folding lines (24).
Pouring element for a package and composite package having such a pouring element
A pouring element for a package having a base body, a polyhedrally formed flange, the flange inner surfaces of which converge in face abutments, for joining to a package sleeve and at least one holding element projecting on the inside of the flange for operatively connecting to a mandrel of a packaging machine, as well as a pouring element with polyhedrally formed gable surfaces, which are correspondingly joined to the polyhedrally formed flange. Provision is made for the holding element to be formed as a rounding in the area of the face abutments on the inside of the flange, in order to prevent the pouring element from becoming damaged during the whole joining process with the package sleeve when putting the pouring element onto, holding it on and removing it from the mandrel and additionally in order to guarantee a secure and precise hold.
Pourable food container with drink spout
A container for pourable food comprises an initially sealed body portion for holding the pourable food and a drink spout for drinking from the container. The proximal end of a base portion of the drink spout is permanently attached to the outer surface of the container, and has an opening to receive pourable food from the body of the container. The distal end of the base portion has an opening for drinking the pourable food from the container. The drink spout comprises a lid portion initially attached to the base portion to seal the opening at the distal end by a breakable sealing portion. The drink spout comprises a connection portion permanently attaching the lid portion to the base portion. The connection portion is a flexure hinge allowing the lid portion to pivot away from the base portion after the breakable sealing portion has been broken.
FLOW GATE POUR CLOSURE
A flow gate pour closure for regulated dispersal of a flowing content from a container comprises a closure body and a sliding gate with a depressible tab. The closure body has a principal aperture aligned with a principal opening of the container to allow for the content to flow therethrough. The sliding gate is translatable through a gate exit aperture of the closure body within the gate track to block the principal aperture and prevent the content from flowing or to expose the principal aperture to partially or completely allow the content to flow at a variable flow rate. The sliding gate is translatable reciprocally back along the slide track to re-block the principal aperture. The tab depressible partially engages the top collar when the sliding gate fully blocks the principal aperture and is arranged so that depressing the tab enables sliding gate movement through the gate exit aperture.
SELF-DOSING MEASURING CAP FOR A LIQUID CONTAINER
In some embodiments, a system for dispensing liquid from a container holding a liquid comprises a reservoir mountable to the container so as to be in fluidic communication with the container. The reservoir may comprise an inlet and an outlet. When mounted to the container, the reservoir may be configured to measure a predetermined quantity of liquid while in first orientation and to simultaneously dispense the predetermined quantity of liquid from the outlet and receive a refilling quantity of liquid through the inlet while in a second orientation that is angled relative to the first orientation above a threshold angle.
Liquid food packaging material, system and method for applying an opening to the packaging material
A laminated packaging material for liquid food products may include a paper board having a non-white color or a film arranged on the paper board, and a pre-laminated hole arranged in an opening section of the paper board. A first contrast area may be arranged adjacent to the pre-laminated hole and printed in a first color that is selected such that a high contrast between the first color and the pre-laminated hole is achieved.
LID-SPOUT ASSEMBLY FOR A PACKAGE AND PACKAGE HAVING A LID-SPOUT ASSEMBLY
There is described lid-spout assembly for a package having a designated pour opening and being filled with a pourable product. The lid-spout assembly comprises at least a collar, a coupling ring arranged around a portion of the collar, a lid and a connecting element connecting the lid and the coupling ring with one another. The collar comprises a first annular interaction ridge and the coupling ring has at least one flap comprising at least one engagement surface abutting and/or designed to abut against an abutment surface of the first annular interaction ridge. The collar also comprises a second annular interaction ridge protruding from the outer surface of the collar and being axially displaced from the first annular interaction ridge. The flap further comprises at least one contact surface designed to interact and/or interacting with a guiding surface of the second annular interaction ridge so as to direct the engagement surface towards and/or against the abutment surface.
