A tamperproof beverage container unsealed by rotation of a lid is disclosed herein. In a general example embodiment, the beverage container includes a body configured to seal a beverage therein, the body including at least a top surface, the top surface including a main surface and at least one sealing surface covering at least one body aperture, and a lid configured to at least partially cover the top surface of the body, the lid including at least one projection which unseals the at least one sealing surface to reveal the at least one body aperture when the lid is rotated with respect to the body.

Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to a lid for a container. In one embodiment, the lid of the container includes a lid panel having a break-open region at least partially surrounded by a predetermined breaking line, and having a fastening element arranged on the lid panel. The lid further including a lever tab rotatably attached to the fastening element for breaking open the break-open region along the predetermined breaking line in the direction of an underside of the lid panel and thereby providing a removal opening in the lid panel. In some embodiments, the lever tab includes a closure element for tightly closing the removal opening, the closure element has a first portion mountable on an upper side of the lid panel and partially sealingly enclosing the removal opening and a second portion mountable on a lower surface of the lid panel and partially sealingly enclosing the removal opening.

The invention refers to a lid for a container, in particular for a can, wherein the lid comprises: a lid panel with a break-open region at least partially surrounded by a predetermined breaking line, and having a fastening member arranged on the lid panel; a lever tab rotatably attached to the fastening member for breaking open the break-open region along the predetermined breaking line toward an underside of the lid panel and a resultant providing of a removal opening in the lid panel; a closure element attached to the lever tab, the closure element being adapted to be mountable to an upper side of the lid panel and sealingly surrounding the removal opening for closing the removal opening; and a locking element for locking the closure element when the removal opening is closed by the closure element.

A container closure device includes a closure unit with a closure part for opening and re-closing the container opening multiple times, and an operating device with an operating part for actuating the closure part, wherein the operating part is rotatably disposed on the closure part and can be rotated from a locked position into an unlocked position. A metallic can end having a reclosable opening has a microgap or a weakening line peripherally around the opening, a sealing frame composed of plastic material surrounding the opening region, a closure unit composed of plastic that is disposed within the microgap or weakening line and that is pivotably attached to the fixed end surface via a pivot bearing. The sealing frame and the closure unit cooperate in a sealing manner. The metallic end region disposed within the peripheral microgap or the weakening line is received and held in the opening region of the end. Except for a possibly provided lacquer layer, the inner end side is at least largely free of lamination and the like.

The disclosure provides a container including a reseal-able closure mechanism having a rocker arm and a pull tab or actuator button.
