Method of installing self-drilling, self-tapping bone screw for bicortical purchase
10966768 · 2021-04-06 ·

A self-drilling, self-tapping bone screw is described in which the bone screw has a drill tip free of threads and having a length at least as great as about the thickness of a proximal cortical bone layer, with the drill tip having opposed lands and a helical flute between each of the lands with each of the lands having a cutting edge configured to cut bone as the drill tip is rotated into the bone with the flutes conveying the bone debris away from the drill tip, where a lead thread begins to self-tap internal threads in the proximal cortical bone layer after the drill tip has drilled through the proximal cortical bone layer so as to avoid stripping the threads formed in the bone layer. A method of installation is also disclosed.

MODULAR STACKING CONTAINER SYSTEM

A modular, stackable, interlocking container system including a number of stackable containers having the same diameter. Each container includes a jar and a lid. The jars and lids both have ribs spaced 180 degrees apart on side surfaces to serve as alignment and tightening indicators. The lids and jars also have a detent feature for interlocking containers together with both tactile and feedback to the user. The container system also has a handle that can interlock with a lid of any of the containers in the system.

Closure cap for a substantially cylindrical vessel

The invention relates to a closure cap for a substantially cylindrical vessel, with a lateral surface, a closed end and an open end, and with a tear-open strip having a grip tab for opening the closure cap. In order to produce closure caps which are designed such that they can be applied by machine to substantially cylindrical vessels, it is proposed within the context of the invention that the lateral surface is substantially cylindrical, at least in the area of the open end, and that the closure cap is of stackable design and has means for stacking at least two closure caps with defined spacing. The invention is based on the finding that, for cost reasons, it is useful if also closure caps for substantially cylindrical vessels can be stacked, i.e. pushed onto one another, during transport as they then take up less space. In the case of machine-applied closure caps, too, it is advantageous to stack the caps, since the machine can then collect them more easily and prior positioning of the closure cap is superfluous.

A container includes a base, a lid, and a hinge that connects the base and lid. The containers may be configured to be vertically stackable in an closed position and still permit venting via vents in the lid of each container. The containers may also be nested in an open position with indentations in the base to facilitate separation of the containers. The indentations may be in one of two positions with an alternating pattern when the containers are in the nested arrangement.

STORAGE CONTAINER WITH ACCESS PANEL

A storage container has a base with a wall defining an extra opening into an interior volume of the base, and a hinged access panel that is translucent to provide visual access into the interior volume. The hinged access panel is movable between an open position and a closed position, wherein the open position provides physical access into the interior volume through the extra opening and the closed position covers the extra opening.

CONTAINER SYSTEMS AND DEVICES FOR PERSONAL CARE SUPPLIES

A container system for carrying personal care supplies includes a container device. The container device includes a container base, a plurality of sidewalls coupled to the container base, and an internal storage chamber defined by the container base and the plurality of sidewalls. The system further includes a divider device carried in the internal storage chamber. The divider device includes a divider base configured to engage the plurality of sidewalls to inhibit relative lateral motion of the divider device relative to the container device. The divider device further includes a divider element. The divider element includes a base portion coupled to the divider base and a free end portion opposite the base portion.

A cylindrical storage jar defining two or more compartments for storing material, each compartment detachable to a superior or inferior cylindrical compartment.

Pharmaceutical packaging device

A device for storing pharmaceuticals that includes a bottom portion having wells and a lid having correlating well covers. The wells and cover are manufactured from an insulating material which protects the medication from heat and moisture. The bottom portion and lid preferably includes matching tabs to assist the user in lining up the lid with the bottom. The device may include a child resistant rim on the bottom portion that locks the lid onto the device when it is closed. The lid of the device may include a protrusion which interlocks with a complimentary indentation in the bottom of an additional device to allow for easy transport of additional pharmaceuticals. The device may further include a hanger hole for easy transport of the device.
