HIGH PRESSURE PROCESSING OF FOODS AND FOOD SUPPLEMENTS
The present invention relates to high pressure processing (HPP) methods of and containers for preparation of food products such as solid or semi-solid foods, beverages and food supplements containing high-pressure sensitive probiotics and other high-pressure sensitive substances, which maintain their viability, biological activity and other beneficial properties in the prepared food product. The present invention also relates to pasteurized food products containing biologically active high-pressure sensitive probiotics, other high-pressure sensitive substances, or their combinations.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR MULTI-LIQUID STORAGE AND MIXING
Various embodiments are generally directed to devices and methods for multi-liquid storage and mixing, such as with a medical liquid packaging device (MLPD), for instance. Some embodiments are particularly directed to an MLPD that includes first and second reservoirs that store separate liquids that may be selectively combined prior to administration to a patient. In one or more embodiments, for example, a device for medical liquid packaging may include a first reservoir and a dispensing port with a second reservoir. In a first state, a flow preventer separates the liquid in the first reservoir from the liquid in the second reservoir. Actuation of an actuator, such as by depression of the actuator, dislodges the flow preventer, allowing fluid communication between the first reservoir and the second reservoir.
APPARATUS, ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING SKIN CARE INGREDIENTS
According to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, a cosmetic arrangement can be provided, which can include a first structure that can enclose a cosmetic active ingredient(s), a second structure that can enclose a solvent solution, a third structure(s) that can separate the solvent solution from the cosmetic active ingredient(s), a medium that can be configured to absorb a mixture of the cosmetic active ingredient(s) and solvent solution, and an indicator structure that can be configured to indicate whether the cosmetic active ingredient(s) and the solvent solution have come in contact with one another. Upon an application of a particular amount of pressure on a portion(s) of the arrangement, the cosmetic active ingredient(s) and the solvent solution can be caused to come into direct contact with one another.
Bottle for disposable one time use substance container
The present invention relates to a bottle comprising: a lower section, a container for enclosing and holding a first substance, the container being located inside the bottle, a lid for closing the container, an upper section connected to the lower section and for holding a second substance above the lid, a seal located between the lid and the container to assure that the second substance contained in the upper section does not mix with the first substance of the container (9), and a push-release system to displace the lid to permit mixing of the first and second substances. The push-release system includes the container movably mounted in the bottle between a first position where the container does not act on the lid and a second position in which the entire container is displaced to displace the lid to permit mixing of the first and second substances.
Pre-filled container, method of use and related production method
This invention relates to a container (1) which is pre-filled or pre-fillable with one or more substances, such as a medical liquid and similar, comprising a squeezable activation compartment (2) intended to contain said one or more substances, a dispensing compartment (3) including a first portion (31) equipped with at least one dispensing member (311, 312, 314) of said one or more substances, and a second portion (32), wherein said second portion (32) of said dispensing compartment (3) and said activation compartment (2) are fluid-dynamically connected, and an activator element (4) arranged inside said container (1). This invention also relates to a method for dispensing at least one substance by means of a container (1), and to a production method of a container (1).
