The cooler generally includes a housing having one or more cavities, a cover to selectively close or open the cavities and a plurality of tie down notches within the exterior portion of the housing to receive an elongated fastener for tying down the cooler. The cooler may include a first cavity that receives a food container and a second cavity that receives beverage containers. The first cavity may also store a liquid, such as water, that is dispensed from a spigot connected to the housing. A first cover and a second cover selectively close and open the cavities. The first cover includes a first access opening that removably receives the food container so the first cover doesn't have to be opened to retrieve the food container and its contents.

The lid is connected to the top end of the body and encloses the compartment when in a closed position. The two handles are tethered to the body via cords, and are configured to nest within the cavities of the corresponding side walls when not grasped by a person. First and second ends of the handles are configured to engage opposing portions of the corresponding rim to retain the handle nested in the cavity via an interference fit.

The relative dimensions of the container may in the form of a hamper, basket, bin or tote.

The handlebar of the handle module can be swung out and upwards from an unactuated state to an actuated state for carrying the mobile cooling box by the handlebar. Each of the brackets comprises a mounting area and a shielding area. The mounting area faces the outer side surface of the box main body to which the bracket is fixed. The shielding area hides the bangers and the handlebar in the unactuated state of the handle module and in a lateral perspective along the longitudinal axis of the handlebar.
