MEAL-KIT PREPARATION AND SHIPPING SYSTEM
A meal-kit delivery package includes a meal-kit shipping container dimensioned to accommodate any number of meal-kit bags to be shipped to a customer. The meal-kit shipping container also accommodates at least one additional meal ingredient, and any number of shipping materials. For example, the shipping materials can include a liner, a cooling component such as, ice or a cold pack, a first cushioning layer such as, bubble wrap and/or chipboard, and a second cushioning layer. The shipping container may also include a lid or other sealing device to enclose the contents within the shipping container. Each of the meal-kit bags is constructed from a semi-rigid material to accommodate placement of the meal ingredients therein while maintaining a loading configuration where a first side surface and a second side surface of the meal-kit bag maintains a generally vertical orientation.
Bag with chuck tape
A bag 1 with a reclosable tape includes a reclosable tape 20 having a male fastener part 21 and a female fastener part 22 attached to one inner surface of a bag body 10, a cut tape 23 provided between mounting base parts 212 and 222 of those fastener parts, and an easily unsealable structure 50 formed on the mounting base part 212 adjacent to the cut tape 23 in an unsealing start part 30 of a side seal part 60 of the bag body. The easily unsealable structure 50 may be formed by: forming a hole portion 50a or a portion formed by a weak line on the mounting base part 212, arranging a thickness of the mounting base part 212 in the unsealing start part 30 so as to be thinner than other portions, or forming a non-adhesive part between the mounting base part 212 and the cut tape 23.
PACKAGE HAVING AN OUTWARD EXTENDING RECLOSURE DEVICE
A package or pouch comprising one or more panel portions and a reclosure device. The reclosure device is provided to extend outward from a panel portion of the package to facilitate the use of the package to store and dispense wet wipes and like products.
Package having a child-restrictive opening feature
A package is provided to make it more resistant to access by individuals, such as small children, while remaining simple enough for an adult to open. A feature, such as a top gusset or a breachable flange or flap, can be provided to promote the child resistance attributes of the package.
Tunnel boring device, and control method therefor
A boring machine comprises a forward section, a rear section, an articulation point, a parallel link mechanism, an input component, an articulation point position computer, and a jack controller. The parallel link mechanism includes a plurality of thrust jacks that change the position of the forward section with respect to the rear section. The articulation point position computer computes the position of the articulation point on the basis of the control inputs received by the input component, and the positions of the center line and center point of the rear section and the center point of the forward section. The jack controller controls the stroke amounts of the thrust jacks to produce movement corresponding to a curve generated from the positions of the center point of the rear section, the articulation point, and the center point of the forward section.

Easy open and reclosable gusseted package with die-cut web and reclosure mechanism
An easy-open/reclosable gusseted package includes a reclosure mechanism including a first and second interlocking strip; a die cut in a first panel and in a first and optionally a second gusset. The die cut defines a die cut segment spaced from the first and second ends of the package that can be displaced to open the package and access a contained product between the interlocking strips, the interlocking surfaces being at least partially exposed. The package can be reclosed, after removing the die cut segment, by engaging the interlocking surface of a second portion of the first interlocking strip with itself in the first gusset, and optionally a third portion of the first interlocking strip with itself in the second gusset, folding the package, and engaging the interlocking surface of the second interlocking strip with the interlocking surface of the first portion of the first interlocking strip.
ZIPPER ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A zipper assembly for a resealable enclosure can include an elongated flange having a panel side and an opposite facing side. The panel side can be coupled with an inner surface of a panel of the resealable enclosure. The zipper assembly can include an interlocking element protruding from the flange. The interlocking element can be shaped to mate with another interlocking element of another flange to close the enclosure and shaped to be pulled apart to open the enclosure. The zipper assembly also can include a tear strip disposed in the flange. The tear strip can be pulled to tear through the panel of the resealable enclosure to provide access to the zipper assembly inside the enclosure. The tear strip can have a larger thickness than the flange between the panel side and the facing side of the flange.
ZIPPER ASSEMBLY WITH SEPARATE TEAR STRIP AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A zipper assembly for a resealable enclosure may include an elongated flange having a panel side and an opposite facing side. The panel side can be coupled with an inner surface of a panel of the resealable enclosure. The zipper assembly also can include an interlocking element protruding from the flange and shaped to mate with another interlocking element of another flange to close the enclosure and shaped to be pulled apart to open the enclosure. The zipper assembly can include a tear strip disposed in the flange and spaced apart from the flange by gaps. The tear strip can be pulled to tear through the panel of the resealable enclosure to provide access to the zipper assembly inside the enclosure.
