Container with a spout

A container assembly includes a container having a neck defining an opening into the container and a spout disposed in the neck of the container. The spout includes an outer sidewall defining an interior of the spout. The spout includes a flange projecting radially outward from the outer sidewall. The spout includes a plurality of spout teeth extending from a bottom surface of the flange and disposed around a perimeter of the outer sidewall. The neck of the container includes a plurality of neck teeth disposed along an interior surface of the neck and coupled with the spout teeth.

Re-closable container

A re-closable container comprising a container body (12), a single piece metal closure and a layer of sealing compound provided on an underside of the closure. The container body and the closure have first cooperating features (14) to allow the closure to be twisted onto and off of the container body. The layer of sealing compound and a sealing surface (18) of the container body which comes into contact with the sealing compound have second cooperating features (40) which establish one or more venting passages upon rotation of the closure from a closed position. The second cooperating features comprise one or more protrusions or indents in the sealing surface and one or more corresponding indents or protrusions on the sealing compound that are radially aligned with the one or more protrusions or indents in the sealing surface when the closure is in a closed position.

The one or more external threads and the one or more internal threads allow threadable engagement between the cap and the mouth portion away from the opening of the bottle.

Child-resistant container

Various embodiments of containers are described having a body with a base and sidewall that defines a hollow interior portion of the body. A separable band can be affixed to the body to provide an attachment mechanism for a cap to be coupled with the body. An insert can be disposed between the body and cap to provide a liquid-tight and air-tight seal when the cap is coupled with the body. Preferably, the insert is dual layer with a layer of foam that compresses when the cap is coupled with the body.
