Fitment for a container neck

A closure for a container neck comprises a shell and a fitment. The fitment comprises a body and engagement means that extend radially outwardly from the body and releasably retain the fitment within the shell. During application of the closure to the container neck, the engagement means is forced from an extended condition into a retracted condition to release the fitment from the shell, and the fitment is inserted into the container neck into an operative position.

System for closing packaging and system for authenticating packaging comprising a frangible radiofrequency identification tag

A package closure system has a frangible radiofrequency identification label which is protected from the external environment by a cover and the frangible label is damaged preventing its normal operation when the package cover is removed. More specifically, a package closure system has a cover, a metallic induction seal attached to the package nozzle and a frangible radiofrequency identification label in which the frangible radiofrequency identification label is attached directly or indirectly to one of its parts on the inner portion of the cover and on another part on the outer portion of the metallic seal.

A liquid container is screwed to tighten and seals strongly, and wherein torque reduction for opening the cap is controlled to prevent loosening the cap, preservation of a tightly-sealing property is improved, and content leak is prevented. The container includes: a body having a male screw on the mouth-neck section rising from the surface; and an anti-loosening cap having a female screw engaging with the male screw and a buffer seal material on the inner side of a top plate, a flange protruding from an open end portion of an outer cylinder skirt extending from the top plate, a resin cushion material protrusion on the flange and attached onto the outer surface of the flange, a height difference of the top plate inner surface to the protrusion top is larger than a height difference from a container opening end face of the mouth-neck to an outer surface portion and protrusion.

BOTTLE-SHAPED CAN WITH CAP AND MANUFACTURING APPARATUS THEREOF

A bottle-shaped can includes a cap having an excellent sealing ability but easy to be opened. A top section includes a leading end section as an upper end of a neck portion, a diametrically-largest section formed beneath the leading end section, a diametrically-shrunk section extending downwardly from the diametrically-largest section, and an outer circumferential wall section extending downwardly from the diametrically-shrunk section. The leading end section, the diametrically-largest section, and diametrically-shrunk section form a smooth curved surface. A curvature of the diametrically-largest section in a cross-section is zero or negative value, given that a curvature of the diametrically-shrunk section is positive value. A flexion section is formed between the diametrically-shrunk section and the outer circumferential wall section. The outer diameter of the outer circumferential wall section in which the curvature is zero or negative value is larger than an outer diameter of the flexion section.

SYSTEM FOR CLOSING PACKAGING AND SYSTEM FOR AUTHENTICATING PACKAGING COMPRISING A FRANGIBLE RADIOFREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION TAG

Package closing system and package authentication system comprising cover (4), seal (3) attached to the package nozzle (2) and frangible type radiofrequency identification label (6), characterized by the frangible type radiofrequency identification label (6) to be attached directly or indirectly to one of its parts on the inner portion of the cover (4i) and on another part on the outer portion of the seal (3e), so that the opening of the cover (4) leads to the destruction of the frangible type radio frequency identification label (6).

Processes for making and using closures having container orifice reducer with tamper evident seal

Containers with closures are disclosed. A closure may include at least a polymer orifice reducer configured to be permanently secured to a rim of an opening of a container and a flexible tamper evident seal disposed on the topside of the orifice reducer. The flexible tamper evident seal, optionally foil, covers one or more openings in the orifice reducer. Processes for permanently securing a closure to a container, optionally by forming a heat seal between the orifice reducer and container rim, are also disclosed.

Dual-seal liner and non-removable closure assembly

Non-removable closure assembly that resists rotational movement so as to be rendered substantially non-removable by the consumer. An induction heat seal liner is provided for sealing the finish (open end or mouth) of a plastic container, the liner being disposed between a closure cap and the container finish and being heat seal bonded to both, thus rendering the closure cap non-removable from the container finish. By non-removable it is meant that once heat seal bonded together the closure cap cannot be removed by a customer or consumer (a human) by hand, without substantially distorting the closure cap or container, e.g., it would require the human to use a mechanical tool (e.g., knife or wrench) and in the process of trying to remove the cap with the tool it would substantially deform the closure cap or container and render one or more of them unusable for their intended purpose.

Retort closure for a container

A method of sealing a container includes filling a receptacle with dispensable contents, coupling a closure to the receptacle to cover an open mouth of the receptacle, sealing the open mouth with a liner; engaging a pressure source to a sealing rib on a top face of the closure; and using a pressure source to force air through the openings and an air passage formed between a skirt of the closure and a neck of the receptacle.

The invention relates to a laminate liner for sealingly engaging a container in an associated container and closure assembly. The liner can include at least first, second, third, and fourth layers, respectively, and have a thickness between 0.0060-0.0120 inches. The first and bottom layer, can comprise a plastic polymeric material, and have a thickness between 0.0005-0.0015 inches. The second layer can comprise a metallic material and have a thickness between 0.0005-0.0010 inches. The third layer can comprise a chip board material, and have a thickness between 0.0045-0.0055 inches. The third layer can prevent the liner from curling or defoiming from its preferably flat shape. The fourth and top layer can comprise a plastic polymeric material and have a thickness between 0.0005-0.0015 inches. An adhesive bonding layer, having a thickness between 0.0003-0.0005 inches, can be located between first, second, third, and fourth layers, to bond adjacent layers together.
