BOTTLE CAN, BOTTLE CAN WITH CAP, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING BOTTLE CAN

The present application improves the shape of a curl part of a bottle can to secure high sealability even under high pressure in the can and during heat sterilization, makes bubbling-over occur less during cap opening, and suppresses misrecognition of reseal.

A bottle can has a curl part provided at an opening end of a mouth part. The curl part includes an outer wall part extending downward from an upper end bent part. The outer wall part includes a first bent part shaping a locking part that extends continuously and downwardly from the upper end bent part and shapes an outwardly-protruding convex, and a second bent part that extends continuously and downwardly from the first bent part and shapes an inwardly-protruding convex.

Cover cap with fitted gasket designed for sealing a metallic bottle

Disclosed is a metallic cover cap for sealing a metallic bottle, comprising a gasket provided with a flat central zone and an annular zone which includes an outer rim and an inner rim that are separated by a notch, such that the outer rim extends axially, continues circumferentially, and includes: a first surface; a second surface with a flat portion and a concave portion radially opposite the notch; and a third flat surface that extends between the first and second surfaces, and the inner rim extends axially, continues circumferentially and spaced radially inwards of the first rim, and includes: a first flat surface opposite and perpendicular to the flat zone; a second concave surface radially opposite the notch; and a third flat surface between the first and second surfaces that is inclined toward the notch.

Dual-Seal Liner and Non-Removable Closure Assembly
20200165044 · 2020-05-28 ·

Non-removable closure assembly that resists rotational movement so as to be rendered substantially non-removable by the consumer. An induction heat seal liner is provided for sealing the finish (open end or mouth) of a plastic container, the liner being disposed between a closure cap and the container finish and being heat seal bonded to both, thus rendering the closure cap non-removable from the container finish. By non-removable it is meant that once heat seal bonded together the closure cap cannot be removed by a customer or consumer (a human) by hand, without substantially distorting the closure cap or container, e.g., it would require the human to use a mechanical tool (e.g., knife or wrench) and in the process of trying to remove the cap with the tool it would substantially deform the closure cap or container and render one or more of them unusable for their intended purpose.

ACTIVE POLYMER LINER FOR INDUCTION SEAL, AND METHOD OF MAKING AND USING SAME
20240016700 · 2024-01-18 ·

Induction seal liners for containers include active polymer compositions that function as active agents within the container during storage of products and which may be easily removed and discarded after opening the container. The active agents can include antioxidant or oxygen scavenging materials, anti-melanosic agents, desiccants, antimicrobial agents, odor reducing agents, and others. The induction seal liners herein extend the shelf life of products while affixed to the opening of a container. An induction seal for a container, the induction seal comprising: a mounting sheet; and an induction seal liner attached to a headspace-facing surface of the mounting sheet, the induction seal liner comprising an active polymer component including a multiphase polymer composition, wherein a mounting portion is located or exposed between an outer edge of the induction seal liner and an outer edge of the mounting sheet.

SCREW CAP FOR WINE BOTTLES
20200148426 · 2020-05-14 ·

A screw cap for wine bottles, has an outer capsule screwable to the bottle and an insert inserted in the outer capsule and intended to stay interposed between the mouth of the bottle and the outer capsule, is described. At the bottom, the insert is provided with a metal foil intended to directly stay in contact with the mouth of the bottle by intercepting the same. The metal foil is the only component of the cap wettable by the wine and is made of a precious metal inert at room temperature, or it is made of an alloy of precious metals inert at room temperature. The insert also has a gasket positioned on the metal foil, which has a radial extent larger than the metal foil itself, and has an outer crown surrounding the metal foil by adhering to the mouth of the bottle.

Lid for containers under vacuum

A closure includes an overcap having an annular skirt, and an annular wall extending inwardly from the skirt. A lid is carried by the overcap radially within the annular skirt, and includes a hub, and an annular margin extending radially outwardly with respect to the hub, and having upper and lower surfaces. An annular container seal extends circumferentially continuously around the annular margin. One or more vents may extend through the annular margin between the upper and lower surfaces thereof at one or more discrete circumferential locations radially inward with respect to the container seal. One or more vent seals may be disposed at the one or more vents between the lid and the overcap.

Closure and an assembly of the closure with a container
