Cap for container
10836549 · 2020-11-17 · ·

A cap for a container is formed so that the cap has a top plate and a circular sidewall. Two opposite sides of the circular sidewall circularly connect to each other, one periphery of the circular sidewall connecting to one surface of the top plate forming a closed end, and another periphery of the circular sidewall at an opposite side of the closed end forms an opened end. Incisions are in the circular sidewall. The incisions form a ring member located at the opened end of the cap separated from a main body of the cap by a first incision and a second incision between the opened end of the main body and the ring member.

A closure includes first and second closure portions. The first closure portion includes a polymeric top wall portion and an annular skirt portion. The skirt portion includes exterior and interior surfaces. The interior surface includes an internal thread formation for mating engagement with an external thread formation of a container and at least one rotation-inhibiting projection. The rotation-inhibiting projection is located to contact the external thread formation. The rotation-inhibiting projection is in the general shape of the letter C prior to engagement with the external thread formation of the container. The second closure portion includes a polymeric tamper-evident band.

Synthetic resin cap for carbonated beverage-filled container, closure device, and beverage-containing closure device

A synthetic resin cap mounted on a lip section of a container filled with a carbonated beverage includes a top plate section and a cylindrical section extending downward from a circumferential edge of the top plate section. An annular inner seal projection fitted into the lip section and an outer seal projection abutting an outer surface of the lip section are formed at an inner surface of the top plate section. An annular abutting convex section abutting the inner surface of the lip section is formed at an outer surface of the inner seal projection. The outer seal projection has an inner surface having an inner diameter reduced toward a distal end, and a minimum inner diameter section, which is a lower end of the inner surface, abuts the outer surface of the lip section at a position spaced apart from an opening end section toward a container main body.

A CAP FOR PACKING CONTAINERS, INCLUDING AN INTEGRAL POWDER OR LIQUID, ADAPTED FOR STERILISATION
20200247596 · 2020-08-06 ·

The present invention relates to a cap adapted to be sealingly attached to a container having an opening and a neck, the container holding a liquid food. The cap includes a spout sealed at one end by a lid and at the other end by another foil or rupturing material and includes a component to be added to the liquid food at the time of consumption. The cap further includes a skirt to engage the inside of the neck to seal the container as well as an outside wall that engages to neck of the container in a screw type arrangement.

Closure

The present disclosure relates to a closure, especially a closure for packages for liquids such as beverages. In particular the invention relates to a closure for containers for carbonated liquids such as soft drinks. The closure comprises an outer shell with a reduced weight and a sealing means which actively compensates the deformation of the outer shell to avoid loss of performance.

Closure for a package

A closure includes a polymeric top wall portion, a polymeric annular skirt portion, a polymeric continuous plug seal and a polymeric top seal. The annular skirt portion depends from the polymeric top wall portion. The annular skirt portion includes an internal thread formation for mating engagement with an external thread formation of a container. The polymeric annular skirt portion includes an interior surface and an exterior surface. The plug seal depends from the polymeric top wall portion. The continuous plug seal is spaced from the interior surface of the polymeric annular skirt portion. The top seal includes sealing gussets integrally connected thereto. The top seal and the sealing gussets depend from the polymeric top wall portion. The top seal and sealing gussets are located between and spaced from the plug seal and the annular skirt portion.

Child-Resistant Containers Having Spinning Collar Cap Assemblies And Methods For The Manufacture Thereof

Child-resistant containers or packages having spinning collar cap assemblies are provided, as are methods for manufacturing such containers. In various embodiments, the child-resistant container includes a container body having an inner cavity, an opening to the inner cavity, and a container neck circumscribing the opening. A spinning collar is retained around the container neck and is rotatable relative thereto in at least a first rotational direction. The child-resistant container further includes an overcap, which is sized and shaped to enclose the opening when attached to the spinning collar. Through the provision of a suitable threaded interface the overcap can be (i) detached from the spinning collar by rotation of the overcap relative to the spinning collar in the first rotational direction and (ii) removably attached to the spinning collar by rotation of the overcap relative to the spinning collar in a second rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction.

Closure for a container neck

A closure (503) for a container neck (501), the closure (503) comprising a body (401) comprising a retention member (402) for retaining the body (401) on a container neck (501). The body (401) defines a retention member disconnection line (403) that is severable to release the retention member (402).

CONTAINER CAP HAVING FUNCTION OF MAINTAINING OPEN STATE
20200207525 · 2020-07-02 ·

A container cap configured to maintain an open state includes an indication ring prevented from escaping from a container spout; a cap body screw-coupled to an outer circumferential surface of the container spout; a hinge connecting the cap body and the indication ring to each other in a partial section of a circumference of a cut portion between the cap body and the indication ring; and a bridge connecting the cap body and the indication ring at an interval along the circumference of the cut portion and is cut when the cap body is open. The hinge has widthwise opposite edges adjacent to opposite cut portions and depressed from the outer to inner sides thereof, a bending guide groove integrally connected to the cap body, the indication ring, the hinge portion, and a protrusion having a shape extending and protruding downward from a lower part of the widthwise center thereof.
