The invention refers to a capping device that includes: a lower ring (9) that includes a first section (16) and a second section (17) that are articulated to each other so that the second section (17) pivots with respect to the first section (16), a cap (1); a joint device that connects the cap (1) to the second section (17) of the lower ring (9); including the first section (16) a front area (19) that is suitable and intended to be housed between the support collar (4) and the coupling flange (5) of the neck (2) of the container during the movement of the second section (17) between the lowered position and the released position to allow radial movement of the lower ring (9).

Closing cap for pouring holes for containers holding liquids. It comprises: a lower ring (1) with a first sector (9) intended to be retained axially in the hooking collar and a second sector (10); articulated with respect to the first sector (9); a top lid (2), foldable; a hinging element (3) with two elastic sheets (13); and a locking device to lock the lid (2) in the folded open position, with a flexible tab (14), between the two elastic sheets (13); and a heel (15) protruding radially outwards. [Problem] To provide a composite preform that can ensure that worsening of the appearance of a surface of a plastic member caused by near-infrared heating prior to blow molding is effectively prevented and that an inner preform is efficiently heated.

[Solution] The composite preform of the present invention includes a preform and a heat-contractive plastic member, the preform including a mouth part; a trunk part linked to the mouth part; and a bottom part linked to the trunk part, and the heat-contractive plastic member being disposed so as to surround the outside of the preform and including at least a colored layer that contains a resin material and a colorant, wherein the heat-contractive plastic member has a near-infrared transmittance of 50% or higher.

A one-piece closure includes first and second closure portions. The first closure portion includes a top wall portion and a skirt portion with a first frangible connection that partially detachably connects first and second sections of the skirt portion. The second closure portion includes a tamper-evident band that is partially detachably connected to the skirt portion by a second frangible connection. When the first and second frangible connections are broken, a tether is exposed. The tether is attached to a portion of the second closure portion and a portion of the first closure portion. The length of the unattached tether portion extends greater than about 300 degrees around the circumference of the closure.

A tamper evidence closure assembly is provided for engaging with a finish of a container for sealing contents within an interior of a container. The assembly includes a finish and a tamper evidence closure configured to threadably engage with the finish. The finish comprises a cylindrical portion of the container that begins at an opening to the interior of the container and extends to and includes a support ledge. Threads are configured to engage with the finish. The tamper evidence closure includes a tamper evidence band that is attached to closure by way of a multiplicity of thin connections. The tamper evidence band includes a cam configured to engage with the finish during removal of the tamper evidence closure. The cam causes the thin connections to break such that the tamper evidence band remains disposed on the finish after removal of the tamper evidence closure.

The disclosure pertains to a container for storing medical and/or pharmaceutical products. The container includes a plastic container body comprising a side wall, a base and an opening defining a storage volume, a flange formed on the container body and configured to receive a connecting element of a cap provided with a tamper-evident mechanism, and an active insert placed within the container body. This container is an improved container for the storage of products. The disclosure also pertains to a sealed package comprising this container.

A closure includes a top panel and a corner section connecting an outer periphery of the top panel with a downwardly extending annular skirt. A plurality of gently curved ridges are spaced about the outer perimeter of the closure. The ridges generally extend from a lower portion of the skirt and around the corner section, with the upper ends of the ridges terminating proximate the top panel outer periphery. A plurality of knurls extend radially outwards from the midpoints of the ridges along the skirt of the closure. The configuration, arrangement, and spacing of the ridges and knurls about the closure provide an enhanced grip and feel, allowing for easier twist-off of the closure from a container. The closure may be used interchangeably with existing capping chucks used to apply conventional closures without requiring any modification to the capping chucks to apply the closures to containers during a capping process.

A cap for a container is formed so that the cap has a top plate and a circular sidewall. Two opposite sides of the circular sidewall circularly connect to each other, one periphery of the circular sidewall connecting to one surface of the top plate forming a closed end, and another periphery of the circular sidewall at an opposite side of the closed end forms an opened end. Incisions are in the circular sidewall. The incisions form a ring member located at the opened end of the cap separated from a main body of the cap by a first incision and a second incision between the opened end of the main body and the ring member.

A closure that remains coupled to a container after the upper portion of the closure has been rotatably removed from the container. The closure may include an attachment channel, which includes alternating segments of linear openings and frangible connections. The attachment channel may also include two hinge bridges that remain unbroken when one or more of the frangible connections are broken.

A closure device for use with a beverage container comprises a spout cap member having a top wall with a spout aperture covered by a spout cover, a side wall for securing to a neck of the container, and a plug support structure. A fluid chamber containing an additive liquid and a pressurised propellant is movably held within the spout cap member. A plug member is fixed to the plug support structure and sealingly engages a bottom aperture of the fluid chamber. The spout cover includes a strut extending through the spout aperture to an abutment surface on the fluid chamber.
