Low Weight Closure Having an Improved Gripping Surface
A closure includes a top panel and a corner section connecting an outer periphery of the top panel with a downwardly extending annular skirt. A plurality of gently curved ridges are spaced about the outer perimeter of the closure. The ridges generally extend from a lower portion of the skirt and around the corner section, with the upper ends of the ridges terminating proximate the top panel outer periphery. A plurality of knurls extend radially outwards from the midpoints of the ridges along the skirt of the closure. The configuration, arrangement, and spacing of the ridges and knurls about the closure provide an enhanced grip and feel, allowing for easier twist-off of the closure from a container. The closure may be used interchangeably with existing capping chucks used to apply conventional closures without requiring any modification to the capping chucks to apply the closures to containers during a capping process.
CLOSURE
The present disclosure relates to a closure, especially a closure for packages for liquids such as beverages. In particular the invention relates to a closure for containers for carbonated liquids such as soft drinks. The closure comprises an outer shell with a reduced weight and a sealing means which actively compensates the deformation of the outer shell to avoid loss of performance.
Cap for closing a container
A cap for a container comprises a lateral wall extending around an axis and a transversal wall arranged transversally to the axis, a separating line being provided on the lateral wall to define: a retaining ring intended to remain anchored to a neck of the container, and a closing element removably engageable with the neck to open or close the container. The separating line extends around the axis and is circumferentially interrupted for defining a joining portion which joins the retaining ring and the closing element. The cap further has an incision line which extends in the lateral wall, transversally to the axis, so that the separating line is axially interposed between the retaining ring and the incision line. Two connecting bands are defined between the separating line and the incision line to keep the closing element connected to the retaining ring.
Improvements In or Relating to Closures
A container closure is provided and comprises a shell with a skirt for securement to a container neck finish, a tamper-evident means for indicating if the closure has been removed from a container in use and electrically conductive multi-touch contact points co-axially located around the skirt.
CONTAINER CAP EASILY SEPARATE COLLECTION
The present disclosure relates to a container cap which is easily and separately collected and, more particularly, to a container cap which is easily and separately collected, in which when the container cap is opened for use, a state in which the container cap is connected to a container is maintained by a display ring, and when it is required to completely separate the container cap from the container for separate collection, the display ring is simply separated by a cut part by external force without a separate tool. To achieve this, the cut part including cut bridges formed from one end or both ends of a cut silt in a lengthwise direction of the cut slit to a lower end of the cut slit is formed in a container cap having a cap body and a display ring.
Package with tamper evident security band
A package is produced having an external and highly visible tamper evidencing band which surrounds portions of both a container lip flange and the periphery of a closure lid. A distal portion of the band is mechanically formed using a forming tool to have an inwardly directed portion which cooperates with an inwardly directed band flange to securely hold the container and closure lid together. The band must be removed to successfully open the package.
An anti-counterfeit bottle cap
An anti-counterfeit bottle cap, having a body (10) and a safety ring bell (20), and a slit (30) in between; an anti-theft mechanism (40) is provided within the slit (30); the anti-theft mechanism (40) has upper rods (41), lower rods (43) and a tear ring (42) in between; upper ends of the upper rods (41) are connected to the body (10), lower ends of which are connected to the tear ring (42): upper ends of the lower rods (43) are connected with the tear ring (42), lower ends of which are connected with the safety ring belt (20). The tear ring is subject to irreversible plastic deformation after the body (10) disengages from the bottle mouth. Therefore, the tear ring (42) cannot be restored, The torn and broken upper rods (41), lower rods (43) or tear ring (42) cannot be glued back to its/their original position(s).
Cap for container
A cap for a container includes a main body having a top plate and a circular sidewall. Two opposite sides of the circular sidewall circularly connect to each other. One periphery of the circular sidewall connects to one surface of the top plate forming a closed end and the other periphery of the circular sidewall at the opposite side of the closed end forms an opened end. A ring member is located at the opened end of the main body. A first incision between the opened end of the main body and the ring member has a first end and a second end. The first end is separated from the second end. A second incision located on the main body or the ring member has a first end and a second end. The first end of the second incision is separated from the second end of the second incision.
A CLOSURE FOR A CONTAINER, A TAMPER INDICATING BAND, A COMBINATION AND A METHOD
A closure for a container, the closure comprising a top panel, a skirt extending from the periphery of the top panel, and a tamper indicating band frangibly connected to an open end of the skirt at a line of weakness, the band including a retaining segment (109) on an inner surface thereof so arranged, when the closure is in a closed position on a neck of the container, to engage under an engagement surface of a retaining structure arranged on the container neck, wherein the tamper indicating band includes at least one indent (117) arranged on an outer surface of the tamper indicating bond.
Method for molding a bi-material cap
The disclosure includes a cap having a first portion made of a plastic material and forming a bottom for covering a container neck and a protective side wall for surrounding the container neck, and a second portion made of a flexible material that is compatible with the plastic material of the first portion and separate from the plastic material of the first portion, the second portion being annular and consisting of a flexible seal, which projects from the bottom toward the interior of the side wall and which is welded to the first portion. Thus, the manufacture of the stopper by molding includes injecting a flexible material to produce the flexible annular seal and then the movable portions of the mold are placed such that the flexible material is in a groove that is set back from the planar surface of the mold.
