11679912 · 2023-06-20 · ·

An apparatus and a method are provided for a container cap comprising a plurality of tamper evidence bridges configured to provide evidence that the container cap has been removed from a container by other than a manufacturer of the container. The tamper evidence bridges comprise a small tab of material that extends from a bottom-most edge of the container cap to a neck ring of the container. The tamper evidence bridges are configured to break, or snap, when the container cap is rotated relative to the neck ring. Broken tamper evidence bridges provide readily visible evidence to an end-user of the container that the container cap has been removed by other than the manufacturer of the container. The high visibility of the tamper evidence bridges serves to discourage vendors from attempting to refill and resale of the used containers.

Closure device for a container

A closure device for a container having a neck including an annular flange, the closure device comprising: a cap body; a tamper evident (TE) band positioned below the annular flange when assembled in the container; a first hinge and a second hinge defined on the cap body; a leash connected to the TE band, the first hinge and the second hinge; the leash allowing for the cap body to be separated from the TE band during opening, but to remain connected thereto via the leash; a tongue protruding from the cap body between the first and second hinges; when the cap body is actuated from a closed configuration relative to the neck to a fully open position: the leash is configured to retain the cap body to the TE band; an interaction of the tongue and the neck is configured to retain the cap body in the fully open position.

Structure of mouth plug portion, and package

A structure of a mouth plug portion includes a nozzle and a cap, the nozzle includes a first outer protrusion and a second outer protrusion, the first outer protrusion includes a locking surface that locks the cap and a first guide surface spirally extending, the cap includes a cap body and a tamper band provided with a weak portion that can be broken by an external force received from the second outer protrusion during rotation of the cap body, the cap body includes a first inner protrusion and a second inner protrusion, an outer peripheral surface of the nozzle is provided with a second guide surface along which the first inner protrusion and the second inner protrusion can move in an axial direction.

Double tamper evidence cap for a neck of a container, system including said cap and a container and method for manufacturing said cap

The invention pertains to a screw cap for a neck of a bottle composed of an upper part removeable from the neck and a lower park non-removeable from the neck and which is a tamper evidence band (TEB) linked to the cap's skirt by frangible connection bridges designed to be broken at the first licit opening of the bottle. TEB also displays any breaking of the cap before the first container opening, thanks to additional lower markers which are composed of annularly regularly distributed frangible connection bridges. Upper frangible bridges and lower frangible bridges are below the top edge of the neck in the original closed position of the cap and define a top ring of the TEB which is intact after the first licit opening.

Present invention provides a compartment as bottled beverages cap for a formula of liquid or powder preparation which may be mixed-up easily with beverages inside of another bottle into a liquid composition. The user simply changes bottle beverage cap with a compartment according to present invention, expel the content into bottle with tear-off mechanism thus the content is mixed-up with water inside of bottle, and creates a ready-to-drink liquid composition. Further present invention provides a breaker having a stopper to against unintentional movements, specifically due to user's accidentally movement, such that said breaker does not tear beverages. This avoids seal becomes leaked which further may create caking of the content and reduced its quality.

CLOSURE

A closure for a container is provided. The closure comprises a cap and a retaining ring arranged under the cap for retaining the closure on the container in use. The cap and ring are joined by a pair of connecting arms. A first arm is non-frangibly connected to the cap at a cap tether end and circumferentially anticlockwise therefrom is non-frangibly connected to the ring at a ring root end. A second arm is non-frangibly connected to the cap at a cap tether end and circumferentially clockwise therefrom is non-frangibly connected to the ring at a ring root end. The cap can be tilted away from the ring with the arms providing a hinge-like function, and each of the arms twists between its cap tether end and its ring root end, whereby tension is generated in the arms.

Tethered, Hinged Closure

A closure includes a cap having a top wall and a skirt perpendicular to the top wall and extending downwardly from the top wall to a lower edge. The skirt includes an inner surface having a sealing formation. A band is concentric with and attached to the lower edge of the skirt by a plurality of frangible members. The band remains coupled to the body of the closure even after being removed from a container.

Tamper-evident closure assembly having two tamper-evidencing members, and related methods

A tamper-evident closure assembly is provided for a container having a neck defining an opening. The closure assembly includes a base cap configured for securing with the neck of the container. The base cap includes an aperture for providing access to the opening of the container in the neck. The closure assembly further includes an overcap configured for securing with the base cap and configured to cover the aperture in the base cap when the overcap is secured to the base cap. First and second tamper-evidencing members are associated with the base cap and the overcap, respectively. The first tamper-evidencing member provides an indication when the base cap has been removed from the neck, and the second tamper-evidencing member provides an indication when the overcap has been removed from the base cap.

Bottle Cap with Additive Supply Structure

A bottle cap with additive supply structure, comprising a bottle cap body and a storage cap; the bottle cap body comprises a first top and a first outer skirt part; the storage cap comprises a second top and a second outer skirt part, the second top, the second external skirt and a crackable part form a sealed storage space. In the invention, the additives are placed in the storage cap, the storage cap is mounted in the mounting groove, sealing performance of the storage space is better, and the additives can be prevented from being affected by damp and going bad. The bottle cap body is provided with the crackable part, the crackable part can be opened only by knocking on the storage cap downwards during use, making the additives fall into a bottle body so as to be mixed with bottled contents.
