Container for medical and/or pharmaceutical products
The disclosure pertains to a container for storing medical and/or pharmaceutical products. The container includes a plastic container body comprising a side wall, a base and an opening defining a storage volume, a flange formed on the container body and configured to receive a connecting element of a cap provided with a tamper-evident mechanism, and an active insert placed within the container body. This container is an improved container for the storage of products. The disclosure also pertains to a sealed package comprising this container.
CLOSURE FOR A THIN-WALLED FLEXIBLE PACKAGING
A closing assembly (100) for a spout (2) with tube (16) for a thin-walled flexible packaging includes a cap (4) and a connecting device (6) comprising a strap (50) and a guarantee seal provided with breakable bridges (46).
Foilless Caps
Disclosed herein are foilless caps. In an implementation, the foilless caps provide sealing of the container without the use of a foil and are environmentally friendly. In an implementation, the foilless caps include tamper evident mechanisms to provide evidence of prior or attempted use. In an implementation, the foilless caps further include tether mechanisms to prevent loss of the cap after opening. In an implementation, the foilless caps provide sealing and resealing of the container with enough closure to maintain freshness. In an implementation, the foilless caps provide a non-backoff feature which may include audible and tactile indications to the user that the container is closed. In an implementation, the foilless caps may provide mechanisms to hold an opened and tethered cap away from the container opening during use.
Tethered plastic screw stopper
The present invention relates to tethered plastic stopper having a closure shell, a tamper band, and an annular ring. The annular ring is formed between a bottom weakness line separably linked through bottom bridges to the top edge of the tamper band and to the bottom edge of the annular ring and a top weakness line separably linked through top bridges to the top edge of the annular ring and to the bottom edge of the closure shell. At least one of the bottom bridges is configured to prevent disconnection of the annular ring from the tamper band and at least one of the top bridges is configured to prevent disconnection of the annular ring from the closure shell. The remaining bottom bridge and the remaining top bridge having a section exceeding at least 30% relative to the section of the bottom bridges and top bridges, respectively.
A CAP FOR CLOSING A CONTAINER, A COMBINATION OF A CAP AND A NECK
A combination comprises a cap for a container and a neck of a container. The neck is delimited by an outer surface from which a circular enlargement projects, the outer surface extending up to a rim of the neck. The cap comprises a side wall extending about an axis. A separation line is provided on the side wall for defining a retaining ring intended to engage with the circular enlargement to remain anchored to the neck of the container and a closure element removably engageable with the neck so as to be movable between a closed position and an open position. The separation line extends about the axis and is circumferentially interrupted so as to leave a joining portion between the retaining ring and the closure element. The cap further has an incision line which extends transversally to the axis between the separation line and a free edge of the retaining ring, so that two connecting bands are defined between the separation line and the incision line, the connecting bands joining the retaining ring to the joining portion. The connecting bands are deformable for allowing the joining portion to rotate when the closure element is moved from the closed position to the open position, so that an edge of the joining portion which, in the closed position, faces the retaining ring, is facing towards the rim of the neck in the open position.
CLOSURE CAP FOR CLOSING A CONTAINER
The invention relates to a closure cap for closing the pouring opening of a container, comprising a cylindrical threaded part including an open rim and an internal thread, which can cooperate with an external thread of a container neck of the container, a tamper-evident band, which is designed to be held at a protrusion formed at the container neck, and a retaining device including a first and a second end, the first end being fixedly connected to the open rim of the threaded part, and the second end being fixedly connected to the tamper-evident band. The retaining device comprises two first outer retaining strips and at least one second inner retaining strip, the at least one second retaining strip being arranged between the first retaining strips, and the first retaining strips being longer than the at least one second retaining strip.
CLOSURE WITH FLEXIBLE HINGE
A closure for a container includes a closure shell having a first interior surface, a tamper evident band having a second interior surface, and a flexible hinge. The flexible hinge includes a first end, a second end, and a gathered portion located between the first and second ends. The first end is coupled to the closure shell and the second end is coupled to the tamper evident band. At least a portion of the gathered portion extends radially inward with respect to the interior surface of the closure shell. The flexible hinge permits the closure shell to be opened and remain tethered to the tamper evident band. The closure may further include a retaining bead or ratchets to keep the tamper evident band attached to the container.
CLOSURE DEVICE FOR A CONTAINER
A closure device for a container having a neck including an annular flange, the closure device comprising: a cap body; a tamper evident (TE) band positioned below the annular flange when assembled in the container; a first hinge and a second hinge defined on the cap body; a leash connected to the TE band, the first hinge and the second hinge; the leash allowing for the cap body to be separated from the TE band during opening, but to remain connected thereto via the leash; a tongue protruding from the cap body between the first and second hinges; when the cap body is actuated from a closed configuration relative to the neck to a fully open position: the leash is configured to retain the cap body to the TE band; an interaction of the tongue and the neck is configured to retain the cap body in the fully open position.
CAP FOR A CONTAINER AND RELATED PRODUCTION METHOD
A cap for a container is made of a material at least part of which is derived from natural fibres. The cap comprises a cup-shaped body having a skirt which extends around an axis and a transversal wall arranged transversally to the axis. A cavity is defined inside the cup-shaped body. The cup-shaped body is delimited by an inner surface facing the cavity and by an outer surface facing the opposite way to the cavity. At least one projecting element projects from a surface of the cup-shaped body selected from either the inner surface or the outer surface. At least one recess is provided at the projecting element on another surface of the cup-shaped body selected from either the outer surface or the inner surface.
Package with tamper evident security band
A package is produced having an external and highly visible tamper evidencing band which surrounds portions of both a container lip flange and the periphery of a closure lid. A distal portion of the band is mechanically formed using a forming tool to have an inwardly directed portion which cooperates with an inwardly directed band flange to securely hold the container and closure lid together. The band must be removed to successfully open the package.
