IMPROVEMENTS IN OR RELATING TO TAMPER-EVIDENT CLOSURES
A tamper-evident screw closure (1) is provided and comprises: a head plate (2); a substantially cylindrical skirt (3) having an internal screw thread (4); and a tamper-evident drop band (11), the band being frangibly connected to the lower edge of the skirt. The band comprises a first portion (12) directed downwardly from the cap skirt and a second portion (14) which extends from the lower end of the first portion and which is folded over inwardly and back in the direction of the head plate for engaging behind a securing ring on a container neck. At least one extension (15) is provided in axial extension of the second portion. The extension is provided with one or more notches (18) and the interior of the skirt is provided with one or more corresponding projections (20) which locate in the notches when the second portion is folded. Wherein when the closure is unscrewed the skirt breaks away from the band, and when the skirt is reapplied to the container neck the projections can push on the extension to ensure that the band drops away from the skirt.
Tamper evident flip-top closure, method and tool for making the same
A closure is provided for a container. The closure includes a base having a substantially cylindrical shape with a recessed area along a top perimeter of the base. The closure also includes a lid configured to close over and open off of the base. The closure further includes a tab that extends from a lower surface of the lid and includes a lip portion configured to fold back onto the tab and lock with the base when the lid is closed over the base. The tab detaches from the lid when opening the lid from the base after the lip portion is folded back onto the tab. A portion of the outer surface of the tab is visible through the at least one recessed area after the lid is closed over the base and remains partially visible after the tab has detached from the lid.
PLUGGING-TYPE RESIN CAP
Provided is a plugging-type resin cap which can sufficiently seal a container and in which, upon uncapping of the container, a restraining band loosens after the pressure in the container is released without the application of an excessive force. A plugging-type resin cap (100) includes a restraining band (130), a tab (140), and engagement projections (151). The restraining band (130) has an arcuate restraining portion (131), stoppers (132), and an upwardly projecting portion (133). The stoppers (132) are formed to extend radially outward from the circumferential both ends of the restraining portion (131). The engagement projections (151) are disposed over an outer side surface of a skirt wall (120) in the vicinity of the circumferential both ends of a tab (140). The stoppers (132) and the engagement projections (151) are formed to be fittable with each other.
Closure for a container and container with such a closure
The present invention relates to a closure for a container with a base element and a flip-top lid attached to said base element by a hinge. The flip-top lid can be moved between an opened and a closed position. The base element has a skirt with attachment means for attaching the closure to the container, and said flip-top lid has a top cover and a sidewall. The closure comprises an actuating region with a latching element, wherein said actuating region is tiltable and/or deformable relative to the remaining regions of the sidewall between a latching position and a released position. The present invention also relates to a container with such a closure.
CLOSING ASSEMBLY FOR A CONTAINER, SUCH AS BOTTLES AND/OR FLASKS, REMOVABLE CARTRIDGES, CLOSING DEVICE, AND METHOD
The invention relates to a closing assembly for containers, such as bottles and/or jars, which allows a hermetically isolated additive to be dispensed into the inside of said container, via a cartridge, characterised in that the assembly comprises a closing device having a main body (3) with joining means that allow detachable connection to a removable cartridge (4) storing the additive to be released, where said removable cartridge (4) houses a piercing projection (5) that can be actuated by direct contact with an actuator (2) connected to said main body (3).
CONTAINER CAP AND CONTAINER HAVING SAME COUPLED THERETO
Provided are a container cap coupled to the mouth of a container in which contents are contained; and a container to which the container cap is coupled. The container cap includes: a main body part coupled to a container inlet of a container and having an opening formed on an upper side thereof; a cover part connected to the main body part by a hinge part and opening and closing an upper opening of the main body part by hinge rotation; a separation part connected to the cover part by a first connection part and connected to the main body part by a second connection part detachably; and a fixing part formed on the cover part so that the separation part is fixedly coupled thereto after the second connection part is separated by a user's manipulation so that the cover part can be separated from the main body part.
STOPPER FOR CONTAINERS
A cap (1) for containers, which comprises a cylindrical body formed by the articulated joint between two superimposed parts, a lower part (2) having gripping means for retention thereof on the neck (20) of the container, and an upper part (3) having an upper base (5) joined to a perimeter wall (7), wherein said perimeter wall (7) comprises a visor (9) for enabling the opening of the cap (1), wherein said visor (9) comprises a flap (10) disposed transversely thereto and in correspondence to a complementary cut-out (4) provided on the upper edge of the lower part (2), wherein said flap (10) comprises, on an inner surface, a cord (11) disposed transversely to the axial axis of the cap (1) for executing the grip of the upper part (3) to the neck (20) of the container.
Synthetic resin cap
[Object] To provide a synthetic resin cap of a structure that is further improved in convenience when drinking while suppressing falling or loss of the cap when a container is opened. [Solving Means] A synthetic resin cap as a specific example of the present invention has a tamper-evident band to be fitted on an outer peripheral surface of a container mouth portion of a container, and a cap main body having a skirt wall and a top plate, and including, in the skirt wall, a fixing rib coupled with the tamper-evident band via a weakened portion and a strap portion and extending to a radially outer side of the skirt wall. The fixing rib is formed from a first inclined portion that flares downwards, and a protrusion portion that is disposed below the first inclined portion. When the container is opened, a side surface of the container mouth portion and the protrusion portion come into contact with each other, and an upper surface of a laterally extending portion, the laterally extending portion being disposed below the container mouth portion and extending in a radial direction, and the top plate come into contact with each other, thereby maintaining a posture of the cap main body when the container is opened.
Food Container with Resealable Cap
A food container includes a main plastic body terminating in an upper rim having a ledge portion, a resealable cap configured to seal against the ledge portion when snap-connected to the upper rim and an externally visible tamper indicator integrated into the container body below the upper rim. The cap includes an opening tab which, upon initially opening the container, is lifted to break one or more frangible connections with the tamper indicator. When the food container cap is presented for sale, the tamper indicator is clearly visible to a consumer. When the cap is completely removed, the tamper indicator radially projects from the container body. The cap can be used to selectively reseal the main body upon seating the seal portion on the ledge portion and snap-connecting the cap to the upper rim.
