Pulp-molded paper lid for beverage cup and method for fabricating the same
A pulp-molded paper lid for a beverage cup and a method for fabricating the same is introduced. While said pulp-molded paper lid bears an external pressure to accommodate the convex-ridge ring of the cup body therein, by preloading of an insertion force of said convex-ridge ring, a generating-elasticity device of said pulp-molded paper lid is pre-compressed to compressively deform, along inward directions respectively opposite to radial directions of said pulp-molded paper lid. By removal of said external pressure, a movable bearing wall and an outermost sidewall of said generating-elasticity device exert two reversed elastically-rebound forces by a stretched deformation occurring therebetween, for clamp-retaining two opposed sides of said convex-ridge ring. Said generating-elasticity device is released from the pre-compression to exert preloaded elastic forces along said radial directions, for strengthening the clamp-retention and avoiding the technical problems of the prior arts.
Utility bucket lid
A utility bucket lid uses a common bucket lid and one or more rigid support members to strengthen the bucket lid in order to secure a pump and rigid pipe to deliver on-demand water or other fluid via a fluid manifold and valve that is connected to the rigid pipe. The rigid support member(s) support a pump having a suction hose and discharge hose and the rigid support member(s) also support a rigid pipe. The rigid pipe is passed through the bucket lid and also through the rigid support member(s). The pump's suction hose is passed into a hole proximate the top end of the rigid pipe (above the top side of the bucket lid) and exists the rigid pipe through a second hole proximate the bottom end of the rigid pipe (below the bottom side of the bucket lid). The rigid pipe holds the position of the open end of the suction hose proximate the bottom of the bucket. The top end of the rigid pipe has an open end to accept a fluid manifold, the fluid manifold having a first end and a second end, an inlet fitting, and outlet fitting, and a valve. A pump is secured to the top side of the bucket lid being fastened to the device via securement holes in the rigid support member(s). The suction hose is appropriately attached to the suction port of the pump and a discharge hose is appropriately attached to the discharge port of the pump. A hose, shower wand, and even a towel holder can also be attached to the utility bucket lid for complete hygiene in primitive settings.
STORAGE CONTAINER SYSTEMS INCLUDING CONTAINERS AND CORRESPONDING LIDS
A container system includes a container having a plurality of sidewalls and a rim extending from the sidewalls at a top of the container. The rim of the container includes a first sealing part and a second sealing part. Parts of the rim extend along arcs as viewed from above the container. The container system also includes a lid for sealing the container, with the lid having a rim that includes a first sealing part that is configured to contact the first sealing part of the rim of the container to form a first sealing area, and a second sealing part that is configured to contact the second sealing part of the rim of the container to form a second sealing area. Parts of the rim of the lid extend along arcs as viewed from above the lid. The container may be tightly sealed by the lid.
Structure of Storage Box
A structure of a storage box includes a main body, a stacking assembly, and a forward opening. The main body has an upper and front-facing opening and a recess on the rear. The stacking assembly is attached to the main body, covers the upper and front-facing opening, and has an upper cover and a front cover, the upper cover fitted to the front cover with a snap and having a convex portion, the shape of the convex portion identical to the shape of the recess. The forward opening is a part of the upper and front-facing opening of the main body and is covered by the front cover. When two or more storage boxes are stacked, the convex portion of the second storage box embeds the recess of the first storage box, preventing the entire structure from tilting forward when the front cover of the storage box above is opened.
Magnetic food storage system
The magnetic food storage is formed from a container and a lid, each with one or more embedded magnets. The magnets interact with each other to hold the containers to each other, hold lids to containers, and hold lids to lids. The magnets are preferably molded inside of the lid and inside the container, the magnets being surrounded by material. This avoids any contact between stored food and the magnets, thus preventing contamination.
CONTAINER SYSTEM WITH LOCKING TABS
A container includes a lid and a base, each having a first and second component of an interlocking interface, the first component having a folding portion, and the second component having a boss. The folding portion has a receiving area to receive the boss and connected to either the lid or base and movable between a position of secure and releasable engagement with the boss and a position of disengagement with the boss. Upon a closing engagement of the lid and the base, a respective portion of the periphery of the base has one of the folding portion and an opposing portion of the periphery of the lid has the other of the folding portion and the boss, so that the respective opposing portions of the lid and base are secured with one another by engagement of the folding portion with the boss.
INJECTION MOLDED CONTAINER ARTICLES AND METHODS
Injection molded container article including a center portion having an outer perimeter. The center portion has a central flow leader defined therein, the central flow leader having a central flow leader thickness. A side wall portion extends from the outer perimeter to an outer rim portion. The center portion and the side wall portion together define a container space having a volume. The side wall portion includes a plurality of side wall flow leaders and a plurality of side wall panels extending between adjacent flow leaders and having side wall panel thickness less than the central flow leader thickness. Each side wall flow leader has a side wall flow leader thickness greater than the side wall panel thickness, and each flow leader extends between the central flow leader and the outer rim portion. Method of making the injection molded container article also provided.
Securely-attaching removable lid for cup
A lid for secure engagement with a disposable plastic cup to prevent spilling and allow for vigorous mixing of enclosed contents. The lid includes a guidance skirt, an orientation securing layer, and a secure engagement layer. The guidance skirt provides guidance of the rim of the cup into the orientation securing layer. The orientation securing layer helps stabilize the orientation of the lid during transition into the secure engagement layer. Furthermore, the lid has good flight characteristics when tossed as a flying disk because the profile of its cross-section roughly approximates the shape of an airfoil, and multiple substantially vertical portions near the perimeter of the lid augment the moment of inertia.
Easily openable container lid
A container lid is configured such that repeated movement of a grip piece and a connecting piece of the lid will not break the connecting piece so that the lid can be removed easily. An extension section extends upwardly from an upper end of the connecting section along an inner peripheral surface of a skirt wall of the lid. When the container lid is on the mouth-neck section of a container, an upper end part of the extension section is sandwiched between an inner peripheral surface of the lid skirt wall and an outer peripheral surface of a locking projection on the container mouth-neck section.
Container with venting features
A container including a base and a lid that is releasably attached to the base. The lid includes a channel that extends around a perimeter of the lid. At least one inlet opening provides fluid communication between an interior of the container and the channel, and at least one outlet opening provides fluid communication between the channel and atmosphere.
