CLOSURE AND DRAINAGE FOR FOOD CONTAINERS AND FOOD SUPPORTS
Systems and methods for providing compostable food containers that preserve the quality of a food product for an extended duration of time, and which optionally allow for cooking of the food product therein. In some implementations, the food containers are sturdy, stackable, insulating, and require minimal or no manual labor to assemble. In some implementations, the food container includes a base and a cover which cooperate to form a closed chamber for supporting, protecting, insulating and optionally cooking a food product, such as a pizza. The base and cover may each be formed of a single layer of material including, but not limited to, molded sugarcane fiber (bagasse), molded wood fiber, molded bamboo fiber, molded paper or plastic.
Leaktight Container Having a Flexible Wall Comprising a Fixing Ring for Joining it to a Device Allowing the Container to be Removably Connected to an Enclosure
The invention relates to a leaktight container (1) having a flexible wall comprising a bag (2) formed from a flexible film arranged so as to define a leaktight interior volume and a through-opening, and means for fixing the bag (2) to a connecting device (4) for connecting the container (1) in a leaktight manner to a sterile enclosure equipped with a complementary connecting device (4), said fixing means comprising a fixing ring (6) arranged so as to allow the connecting device (4) to be fixed reversibly to the bag (2), said ring being made up of two concentric annular parts fitted one in the other, the external annular part being dimensioned so as to be force-fitted around the internal annular part and to exert a radial stress thereon, the portion of film delimiting the through-opening being gripped between the two annular parts.
Child-resistant containers
The present disclosure is directed to a child-resistant container which includes a lid having a peripheral flange which defines a lifting tab having top and bottom surfaces. The lid includes a protrusion extending downwardly from the bottom surface of the lifting tab. The container includes a base having an upper peripheral rim and a surface formed in a corner portion of the base between two adjacent sides of the base. The surface includes an aperture to receive the downwardly extending protrusion of the lid when the container is closed forming a child-resistant opening mechanism. The surface is uninterrupted but for the aperture.
Container
A container having a container element, a lid element removably joined to the container element to form a sealed storage cavity, and a bowl element that removably covers the lid element to protect it during transport. The storage cavity has an interior vertical wall dividing it into multiple storage chambers. The lid element has two openings, each sealably closed by an operable flap movable from an open position to a closed position. In an open position, the flap has a convex outer surface forming a spout for the opening. In a closed position, the flap has a concave outer surface and engages all edges of the opening to seal the opening. When in use, the bowl element can be removably stowed to the bottom of the container element or used as a serving vessel.
RINGLESS METAL CANS AND METHOD
A can comprises a can body (10) and a lid (4). The can body is manufactured using only a single homogeneous piece of material and has an edge that defines a top opening into the can. The can body also has an inwardly directed bead (23), which extends around the body, is adjacent to the can body edge, and defines an inwardly facing sealing surface (24) of substantially constant transverse cross-sectional dimension along an axial extent. The lid defines an outwardly directed sealing surface which abuts the inwardly facing sealing surface presented by the inwardly directed bead in order to seal the lid to the can body. An alternative can body has an inwardly directed pinched or collapsed bead which defines an upwardly facing sealing surface (34) for engagement with a downwardly facing sealing surface of a can lid. The alternative can body additionally has an inwardly directed bead (35) between the can body edge and the pinched or collapsed bead. An outer brim (42) of the lid is configured to be retained between the two beads of the alternative can body.
Container seal for the storage of dangerous liquid material
Exemplary embodiments provide a seal between an open body end of a container body and an edge of a lid which is pressable into the open end of the body in a sealing manner, both made from sheet metal, wherein at the end of the body the sheet metal is bent outward by approximately 180 with a bending radius, the lid edge, which is separated from a lid surface by a channeled bead, extending axially upward with its radially external defining edge of the bead beyond an axial position of the lid surface and being bent outwards with a radius which is larger than the bending radius at the body end, to form a rolled edge for receiving an annular sealing material filling the rolled edge and extending downwards, wherein a sheet edge of the rolled edge terminates at a radial distance before the defining edge, said distance being dimensioned such that during the sealing process the body end, with the bending radius thereof in contact with the defining edge of the lid, may be inserted between the same and the sealing material into the interior of the rolled edge.
CONTAINER FOR MIXABLE POWDER OR LIQUIDS
A removable container for powder or liquid includes a housing, a spilling mechanism and a bypass element. The housing hangs within a bottle and is capable of storing powder within the bottle while being sealed from a precursor liquid held within the bottle. The spilling mechanism enables the powder to spill out of the housing and into the precursor liquid and the bypass element provides the precursor liquid out of the bottle without mixing with the stored powder.
PLASTIC CONTAINER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A plastic container having a body member and a bottom insert member which are separately molded. The body member is formed with an open top having attached hinge lid and open bottom having a contoured flange engagement surface in its bottom interior wall. The bottom insert member has a pair of annular registration flange elements registerable within the body bottom flange engagement surfaces with a plurality of annular sealing flanges there between with interlocking the bottom insert in sealing relation therewith.
Closure member for an assembly for packaging and dispensing a product, and assembly comprising such a closure member
Assembly (1) for packaging and dispensing a product, in particular a cosmetic product, comprising a reservoir (10) delimiting an internal volume (14) intended to contain a product and comprising an opening (16a) for accessing said internal volume (14), provided with at least one inner shoulder (18c), and a member (20) for closing the opening (16a) of the reservoir, comprising a mounting skirt (22) that extends along an elevation axis (Z-Z) and is mounted in the reservoir, and closes the opening (16a) of said reservoir (10). The closure member (20) comprises a fastening lip (28) delimited axially by a proximal end (28a) connected to the mounting skirt (22) and a free distal end (28b), on the opposite side from the proximal end (28a), the fastening lip (28) being folded and radially surrounding the mounting skirt and the distal end (28b) of said fastening lip (28) butting axially against the shoulder (18c) of the reservoir (10).
