A fillable container cap includes a transparent cap with a transparent intermediate wall and a transparent snap on top plate. The cap with an intermediate wall includes a cap body with an open bottom and an open top with a peripheral wall extending upwardly from the open bottom to the open top with an intermediate wall affixed to the peripheral wall of the cap body. A top plate positioned on the open top and upper share of the peripheral wall to form unitary compartment between the intermediate wall and the top plate for receiving and housing content enclosed in the said cap.

A container for loosely stored products including a) a container body containing a peripheral body wall having an inner peripheral body groove; b) a cover containing a cover skirt having an outwardly facing sealing portion with an apex that seals against the inner peripheral body groove when the cover is in a closed condition thereby forming a seal of a sealing line type; and c) a hinge connecting the container body and the cover. The apex of the cover skirt and the inner peripheral body groove provide the only seal between the cover and the container body and preferably the only locking element that holds the cover in the closed condition on the container body.

Securable sampling port for an insulated container

Apparatus and installation methods for sampling ports are disclosed. Sampling ports include a port housing and a lid assembly. The lid assembly is configured to sealably close against the port housing. Additionally, the lid assembly can be secured, such as with a lock, to the port housing. In one aspect, the port housing includes a sample mount arrangement configured to receive a sampling assembly. The sample mount arrangement defines a sampling channel and the port housing defines a sampling opening and a first securing mount. The lid assembly includes a latch arrangement and defines a second securing mount.

Ringless Metal Cans and Method

A can comprises a can body (10) and a lid (4). The can body is manufactured using only a single homogeneous piece of material and has an edge that defines a top opening into the can. The can body also has an inwardly directed bead (23), which extends around the body, is adjacent to the can body edge, and defines an inwardly facing sealing surface (24) of substantially constant transverse cross-sectional dimension along an axial extent. The lid defines an outwardly directed sealing surface which abuts the inwardly facing sealing surface presented by the inwardly directed bead in order to seal the lid to the can body. An alternative can body has an inwardly directed pinched or collapsed bead which defines an upwardly facing sealing surface (34) for engagement with a downwardly facing sealing surface of a can lid. The alternative can body additionally has an inwardly directed bead (35) between the can body edge and the pinched or collapsed bead. An outer brim (42) of the lid is configured to be retained between the two beads of the alternative can body.

A cover includes a bistable flap mechanism made of a plastic with at least two material components. The cover can be produced in one piece in a multi-component injection molding technique. At a transitional area between a front wall and an edge portion, the plastic is sufficiently stiff (preferably due to greater material thickness) to ensure that an angle enclosed in the transitional area from the side wall to the edge portion remains constant in both bistable states. Expansion portions provided in the edge portion ensure that the outer circumference of the edge portion can increase/decrease from one bistable state to the other bistable state. A closing system including the cover is also provided.

This invention is a tamper evident container having a base and removable lid comprising a pull tab and a lid surface, wherein the base and lid fit together with an interference fit. The pull tab extends toward the center of the lid surface and away from a base portion of the pull tab, the base portion being located at an edge of the lid. The pull tab further comprises a pull tab portion having a first side that is attached to a first tab marker by a first frangible line, and a second side that is attached to a second tab marker by a second frangible line. The pull tab portion overlays at least one detent that marginally biases the pull tab portion away from the lid surface.

The airtight container includes a container body having a latching bump and a bent flange, a rotating knob connected to the flange and having an opening-closing plate and a step portion, and a lid having a latching protrusion, a downwardly bent flange and a lid extension portion, wherein, when the rotating knob is just rotated upward in a state where the lid is coupled to the container body, the opening-closing plate lifts the lid extension portion by the principle of the lever while the step portion prevents the lid extension portion from spreading outwards, thereby allowing the latching protrusion to be released from the latching bump and the lid to be opened from the container body.
