Sealed Storage Box with Latching Closure
A storage box that includes a container and a lid, which includes a bottom plate, a top plate, a top plate anchor and a movable latch. The bottom plate includes an arm that the height of its left section is bigger than the height of its right section, and its inclined middle section inclines from left to right. The movable latch includes a protrusion that its left section is flat and the inclined right section inclines and descends from left to right. The movable latch is designed to be positioned between the top plate and the bottom plate, in a way that the horizontal protrusion is inserted under the horizontal arm of the bottom plate and the movable latch can be moved from right to left and back.
CONTAINER SYSTEM WITH A REMOVABLE CAP
A container and methods of manufacturing and operating the same are provided where the container has a cap that is removable yet childproof. The cap is positioned in a tubular body, and the cap has a generally smooth or continuous upper surface to reduce or eliminate surfaces or edges for a child to grasp. To operate the cap, a disc in the center of the cap is pushed below a lip, and a user grasps the lip to pull the cap from the tubular body. The force needed to press the disc away from the lip is low enough for an adult but too high for a child. Moreover, the cap forms an interference fit with the tubular body with enough friction force to prevent the cap from falling out of the tubular body but is low enough that the cap can be pulled from the tubular body.
CONTAINER WITH VENTING OR MULTIPLE SEALING FEATURE
A container assembly includes a lid, a gasket connected with the lid, and a container body. The gasket includes an outer peripheral edge. The container body may include an inner surface, an upper opening defined by a peripheral top edge, and at least one discontinuity where the inner surface or the peripheral top edge deviates in shape from the outer peripheral edge of the gasket. The container assembly may also include an inner container where the gasket includes an inner edge spaced inwardly from the outer peripheral edge. The inner container includes a top opening defined by a peripheral upper edge, and is receivable in the container body. The outer peripheral edge of the gasket seals against an inner surface of the container body and the inner edge of the gasket seals against an internal surface or the peripheral upper edge of the inner container.
Protective housing for a biopharmaceutical liquid bag, protective assembly and method of assembly thereof
The invention relates to a protective housing for a biopharmaceutical liquid bag having a lower shell with a bottom and side walls, and an upper shell. The upper shell includes a housing for receiving the bag, and can be inserted into the lower shell, in such a way that the opening of the housing is adjacent to and facing the bottom of the lower shell, and in such a way that the upper shell is laterally held in place between the side walls of the lower shell.
Automated Cup Lid Assembly
An automated cup lid assembly includes a lid that is positionable on a beverage cup for closing the beverage cup. The lid has a drinking aperture extending therethrough for drinking. A closure is slidably coupled to the lid and the closure is positionable between an open position and a closed position. The closure covers the drinking aperture when the closure is in the closed position and the drinking aperture is exposed when the closure is in the open position. A motion unit is integrated into the lid and the motion unit is in mechanical communication with the closure. The motion unit urges the closure into the open position when the motion unit senses that the beverage cup is near a user's mouth. Additionally, the motion unit urges the closure into the closed position when the motion unit no longer senses that the beverage cup is near the user's mouth.
Portable container kit with insulated container and lid
A storage container kit with an insulated bowl and lid. Aspects of the present disclosure provide for a storage container kit comprising a first container having insulated walls, a first lid having an insulated portion extending between an upper surface and a lower surface of the first lid and configured to establish a pressurized seal with the first container, a second container configured to be housed within an interior portion of the first container, and a second lid configured to be removably coupled to an upper circumference of the second container. In some embodiments, the first lid is configured to be selectively interfaced with the first container to create a pressurized seal between a gasket, inner side walls of the first container, and a plug being removably coupled to a pressure release aperture in the first lid.
DOUBLE-WALLED, SLIP FIT COOLER
A double-walled, slip fit disposable cooler can include: (1) a body having an inner liner disposed within an outer shell wherein the inner liner is removable from the outer shell, each of the inner liner and the outer shell include a base and a plurality of support walls coupled to the base, the plurality of support walls and the base defining an interior cavity, and the plurality of support walls extending upwardly from the base to form an opening at an upper terminus of the respective inner liner and outer shell; and (2) a lid configured to reversibly couple with the body, the lid shaped to cover the opening of the inner liner. The inner liner, outer shell, and the lid can be made entirely of a compostable, recyclable, and/or biodegradable material. An air gap may be formed between the inner liner and the outer shell is certain embodiments.
FOOD STORAGE AND COOKING VESSEL WITH A VALVE
According to one example, a removable lid for a container of a vessel includes a valve configured to selectively allow air to vent out of a fluid retaining interior region of the container when the lid is positioned on the container. The valve includes an opening that extends entirely through a thickness of a portion of the lid, and a valve plug. The valve plug includes a valve top portion that extends vertically above a top surface of the portion of the lid, a valve bottom portion, and a valve central portion. The valve top portion is configured to be contracted, by a downward pressure, into a more vertically compact shape. The valve top portion is further configured to, absent the downward pressure, expand back upwards out of the more vertically compact shape.
LID FOR A CONTAINER
A lid for a container is provided. The lid includes a perimeter sidewall having a lower inwardly turned flange and a bottom panel secured to the inwardly turned flange. The lid has a frustoconical shape created by a taper angle of the perimeter sidewall. The perimeter sidewall may have at taper angle that is equal to, greater than, or less than a taper angle of the container into which the lid is inserted. The lid may create an interference fit between the perimeter sidewall of the lid and the sidewall of the container along all or a portion of the height of the perimeter sidewall to secure the lid to the container after the lid is inserted into the upper end opening of the container.
Self-closing lid for cup
A lid for container that can be open manually but closes itself automatically, The lid can he made out of plastic, paper or metal but preferably it should be made out of plastic. Along the lid lateral side, there is an item attached firmly on the lid and acting like a spring. This spring features an extension on the end not connected to the lid that acts as a button. Additionally, for usage, the lid is manually equipped with a flexible moving piece of material that can be made out of various material but preferably out of paper. This flexible piece of material will have a cut on one end that will be used to insert the button through in such a way that after insertion, the spring, the button, and the moving tongue move simultaneously. In order to use the assembly, the user needs to exert a pressure on the button with a finger, so that the spring gets under pressure and the moving piece of material moves along the surface of the lid to reveal the opening. As soon as the pressure on the button is removed, the spring gets back to its resting position along with the moving piece of material that covers the opening once again.
