There is disclosed a receptacle (10) comprising: a container (20) having an opening (28), the opening having a circular profile; and a lid (50) for closing the opening of the container; wherein the lid and container are configured to lock together with a rotational friction lock, the rotational friction lock comprising a protruding locking tab (30) on a surface of the container or the lid and a locking surface profile (68) defined on the other of the lid or the container; wherein the locking surface is configured to oppose the locking tab when the lid closes the opening of the container, the locking surface having a locking portion (74), and the locking portion having a continuous surface with a varying radius such that friction between the locking tab and the locking portion varies on relative rotation between the lid and the container.

A sealing cover with a two-way embedding buckle mechanism includes an upper cover member, a lower cover member, a fastener, an elastic element and a handle member. The fastener has two embedded buckle channels corresponding to each other, each includes a sliding path, a first embedding port and a second embedding port. The first and second embedding ports are formed on two ends of the sliding path respectively. The elastic element is elastically clamped between the upper and lower cover members. The handle member includes a knob handle and two support arms, and each support arm has a shaft, and each shaft selectively enters one of the first and second embedding ports and is capable of moving in each sliding path. This arrangement may improve the convenience of assembling and disassembling.

A ventilated container for produce includes a bottom, sidewalls extending upwardly from the bottom, and a rim having a flattened top surface. The sidewalls include at least one ventilation opening located proximate the rim of the container thereby permitting the rim of the container to be generally flat and uninterrupted. The location of ventilation opening(s) proximate the rim of the container allows the flow of rising ethylene gas within the container to exit near the top of the container improving ventilation within the container. A plastic film can be applied over the top of the container and is adhered to the container with an adhesive to form a secure and rigid seal between the film and the container. The flattened surface of the rim improves the adherence between a film and the container to enclose and seal the container, aids the rigidity of the container, and lessens the likelihood of the edges of the rim being bent or folded when pressure is exerted to protect produce provided within the container. Moreover, an aperture on the bottom of the container provides drainage of liquid from the container and allow air to flow.

A lid for covering the open end of a beverage container having: an annular base adapted to detachably and sealably engage with the circumference of a drinking edge of a container; an elevated portion projecting upwardly from the annular base; and a spout; the lid arranged and formed such that when in use with a container containing liquid and wherein the lid is securely fitted to the container a user is able to move the spout between a closed configuration which closes the open end of a container such that liquid is substantially prevented from escaping from the container and a drinking configuration which allows a user to drink the liquid contained within the container and also wherein in use the lid is adapted such that a user can squeeze the container or the elevated portion which results in the spout moving from a closed configuration to a drinking configuration.

A system for displaying, transporting, storing, and serving food that includes stackable catering platters, containers, and covers. The system provides a modular catering platter system for use in both hot and cold food applications, even at the same time. At least two stackable sectional platters are provided including a larger sectional base and a smaller top section that stackably mate directly with each other.

A ventilated container for produce includes a bottom, sidewalls extending upwardly from the bottom, and a rim having a flattened top surface. The sidewalls include at least one ventilation opening located proximate the rim of the container thereby permitting the rim of the container to be generally flat and uninterrupted. The location of ventilation opening(s) proximate the rim of the container allows the flow of rising ethylene gas within the container to exit near the top of the container improving ventilation within the container. A plastic film can be applied over the top of the container and is adhered to the container with an adhesive to form a secure and rigid seal between the film and the container. A rigid container that may be used to store items. The container includes a first bowl and a second bowl. The first and second bowls both include center portions and at least one sidewall. The sidewalls are disposed about the peripheries of their respective center portions and oriented perpendicular to it. The sidewall(s) of the first bowl define an exterior profile and the sidewall(s) of the second bowl define an interior profile. The exterior profile and the interior profile are identical in shape but the interior profile is slightly larger so that the second bowl can be received over the first bowl.

A method of producing a lid including a top plate and a side wall extending downward from a periphery of the top plate, using molds, the molds including a papermaking mold and a drying mold. The top plate is provided with an abutting part abutting against an edge of an opening of a container, while an undercut part to be fitted to a lower part of the edge is formed on the side wall so as to be located below the abutting part. The papermaking mold is provided with suction holes at a level corresponding to a level of the undercut part formed on an inner surface of the side wall. The side wall is suctioned using the suction holes when a molded article is at least in one of several states to form the undercut part in a convex shape on the inner surface of the side wall.

A lid for covering the open end of a beverage container having: an annular base adapted to detachably and sealably engage with the circumference of a drinking edge of a container; an elevated portion projecting upwardly from the annular base; and a spout; the lid arranged and formed such that when in use with a container containing liquid and wherein the lid is securely fitted to the container a user is able to move the spout between a closed configuration which closes the open end of a container such that liquid is substantially prevented from escaping from the container and a drinking configuration which allows a user to drink the liquid contained within the container and also wherein in use the lid is adapted such that a user can squeeze the container or the elevated portion which results in the spout moving from a closed configuration to a drinking configuration.

Disclosed herein is an injection molded lid for use with a container. The lid includes a lid body and a securing member, respectively made of a first material and a second material. The lid body includes a cover portion and a flange portion disposed around the periphery of the cover portion. One side wall of the flange portion has one or more notches. The securing member includes at least one tab and a frame disposed at the flange portion. The tab extends from the top or bottom of the frame and covers the notch. Also disclosed herein is a container and lid assembly that includes a container and an above-described injection molded lid.
