The disclosure pertains to a container for storing medical and/or pharmaceutical products. The container includes a plastic container body comprising a side wall, a base and an opening defining a storage volume, a flange formed on the container body and configured to receive a connecting element of a cap provided with a tamper-evident mechanism, and an active insert placed within the container body. This container is an improved container for the storage of products. The disclosure also pertains to a sealed package comprising this container.

A package includes a container and a lid. The container may include a tamper evident feature, a child resistant feature, or both.

A container has an upper edge, a lateral wall extending around the circumference of the container, and an opening closed by a lid. A latching rim proximate the upper edge latches with a corresponding latching rim on the lid. The latching rims of the container and the lid, respectively, extend at least partially around a circumference of the same. The container lateral wall includes a peripheral skirt having a sub-region extending radially outwardly from the lateral wall. The lid includes a lower lid rim on the outside of the container and at least one extension extending outside the lateral wall of the container. A container is described comprising: a base comprising a mouth, a first edge obtained around the mouth and a second edge connected to the first edge by a lower wall; a cover capable of being closed again on the base, the cover comprising a base wall and an edge connected to the base wall and adapted to be assembled with interference on the first edge of the base; the lower wall further comprising a breaking line along which the separation of the second edge from the first edge and from the base is adapted to occur to allow opening the container providing evidence of the occurred opening, the first upper wall of the first edge having sizes greater than those of the opening of the edge, to assemble with interference the first edge of the base inside the edge of the cover when the cover is closed on the base.

The present invention relates generally to the field of closure devices for consumer products, including both liquid and dry products. More specifically, the present invention relates to a lid or closure for consumer goods packaging that provides a secure locking engagement to prevent spilling, leakage, and/or tampering of the contents of the packaging. The unique closure device utilizes a combination of a release tab and locking elements, which cooperate with one another in order to seal or unseal at least a portion of the lid or closure to allow for dispensing of the contents of the container.

The present disclosure relates generally to containers and container lids. In at least one embodiment, the disclosed containers and container lids provide a liquid-tight seal without the use of gaskets, and can facilitate full submersion of solid items when the container is filled with liquid. For example, in certain embodiments, a container lid includes a brine disc panel with alternating hatched patterns of downward protruding ridges. Thus, in these embodiments, liquids within the container can pass between the protruding ridges (e.g., with the protruding ridges extending downwardly into the liquid) and the protruding ridges may keep solids that tend to float in the liquid below a surface of the liquid.

A tamper-evident container includes a base and a lid. A base extension and a lid extension are connected to a hinge to join the base and the lid together in a closed, pre-use configuration. A tab extends from either the lid extension or the base extension in a direction away from the lid and the base such that the tab extends beyond the hinge. The tab is joined to one of the extensions via weakened regions that can be torn when the tab is pulled to indicate that the container has been tampered with or opened.

In various embodiments, a container lid with a castellated cork seal includes a plurality undulating u-shaped ridges that form peaks and troughs throughout a channel. The undulating u-shaped ridges throughout the channel may provide a surface for receiving a bottom of a separate container in a stacked configuration. In certain embodiments, when the lid is secured on top of a container, the u-shaped ridges protrude downwardly into the container for providing cantilevered support. In particular embodiments, the exemplary container lid includes detachable tear strips along a side wall of the container lid. Removing the tear strips allows access to one or more lift tabs for applying upward leverage to the exemplary container lid for removing the lid from a container.

A food container is provided, including a box body, a cover and a locking buckle, wherein the cover is buckled above the box body; an outer edge of the box body encloses an outer edge of the cover, and the outer edge of the box body is provided with a segment of notch, the notch exposes a part of the outer edge of the cover; and the locking buckle is composed of a seal strip and a pull-tab portion, wherein the seal strip is arranged in the notch, and is connected to a break face formed by the box body at the notch through a plurality of connecting bridges, and the pull-tab portion is arranged at an outer side of the seal strip and connected to the seal strip. The food container is easy to open and can ensure the sealing performance.
