WATERCRAFT AUTOMATION AND AQUATIC EFFORT DATA UTILIZATION
A watch device includes a processor, a display and a memory. The memory includes instructions for establishing a network connection between the watch device and an electronic GPS mapping computer of a watercraft for transmitting, receiving or displaying data.
METHODS FOR CONTROLLING FISHING HARDWARE AND DISPLAYING FISHING INFORMATION
A method for controlling fishing hardware and displaying fishing information which includes running an application on a computing device having a display for displaying the application, wherein the application is configured to display and control a fishing lure configuration of a fishing lure. The method further including establishing a connection between the computing device and the fishing lure which includes equipment capable of emitting sounds resembling the prey of a fish, thereby enabling alteration of the fishing lure configuration and which sounds may be emitted. The method further including updating the fishing lure configuration with the application.

SENSING OF WATER QUALITY
Sensing apparatus (24) includes one or more sensors (26, 28, 46, 48), configured to sense properties of water in which the sensing apparatus floats. A wireless communication interface (42) is coupled to transmit signals indicative of an output of the one or more sensors. An energy storage device (58) is coupled to provide electrical energy to the one or more sensors and to the wireless communication interface. A sealed case (25) contains the one or more sensors, the wireless communication interface, and the energy storage device and has sufficient buoyancy to float in the water.
FLY-FISHING FLOAT OR STRIKE INDICATOR AND ATTACHMENT METHODS
A fly fishing float and/or strike indicator is attached by an interference fit to a leader, by sliding the float up the leader to a thicker-diameter portion of the leader for a tight fit, and preferably a leader-compressing fit, between the leader and an axial bore in the float. A bore surface, that is non-compressible and/or less compressible than the leader, may be supplied as an insert around which a buoyant main body of the float is formed. The insert may also have features that prevent separation of the main body from the insert and that help transmit force on the main body to the bore surface for quick and efficient securement of the float to the leader by the interference fit.

MULTIPLE MODE ARTIFICIAL FISHING LURE
A multiple mode fishing lure that includes a main body portion having a waterproof inner capsule, the waterproof inner capsule containing an electronic circuit to produce sounds which mimic bait fish. The electronic circuit includes a controller having pre-recorded bait fish sounds replaceably stored thereon and operationally coupled to a speaker to broadcast the bait fish sounds, a power source for providing power to the components of the electronic circuit, and a plurality of electrodes, wherein each electrode can be actuated, and wherein actuation of at least one of the plurality of electrodes gives an operational result. The multiple mode fishing lure further includes at least one hook coupled to the main body.
Watercraft automation and aquatic effort data utilization
A trolling system for a boat includes a trolling motor and a control mechanism. The control mechanism includes an interface for establishing a network connection between the control mechanism and an electronic GPS mapping computer. The control mechanism is configured to receive control instruction from the electronic GPS mapping computer to cause the trolling motor to execute a direction in accordance with a water depth.
Watercraft automation and aquatic effort data utilization
Watercraft automation and aquatic data utilization for aquatic efforts are utilized for updating map data with current position and current sonar information of a sonar device.
Visibility for fishing floats
The invention relates to a line of floats which allow for greater visibility during both day and night fishing. The greater visibility is created by a combination of one of more marker devices, including light sticks, flags, viz sticks, reflective surface, and/or use of chemiluminescent and phosphorescent materials. These objects and materials are used on a variety of floats, especially large floats such as jug floats and a new type of float termed a noodle float. These large floats are especially useful for catching large catfish and can be used in any body of water where fish are found, such as lakes, rivers, ponds, and the sea.
