Portable drinking bottle with an auxiliary casing for articles
11066219 · 2021-07-20 ·

The present invention is a portable drinking bottle for carrying re-usable articles like spoons, fork and knives and preventing the need of disposable polymeric articles and hence save environment. Portable drinking bottle includes a main casing and an auxiliary casing, an inner closure and an outer closure. Auxiliary casing is introduced in main casing to form a cavity therebetween so that drinking liquid can be filled therewithin. Main casing and auxiliary casing are enclosed by an inner closure that has a central aperture to insert in and remove articles from auxiliary casing. Inner closure also has a spout which is in connection with cavity and hence enables drinking of liquid. Also, auxiliary casing can be removed for cleaning or when not desired thus providing a simple structure.

Receptacle Having a Tamper Resistant Locking Mechanism For Produce and Foodstuff
20210237946 · 2021-08-05 · ·

A produce and foodstuff receptacle is disclosed containing a tamper evident locking mechanism to lock a separate lid and container. The receptacle has a fitted corner for allowing lid and container attachment in only one position. Lid and container matching connectors allow secure and reusable attachment. After locking, only a container tab is fully detached after the receptacle is initially opened to indicate use. The lid remains fully intact after opening and hides the detached container portion underneath a locking tab platform for protection against any perforated edges. Matching connectors allow re-sealing after initial opening of the locking mechanism. The lid also contains a lid lock ledge that matches with a container lock ledge that submerges the lid into the container. The locking tab platform allows re-opening of the lid and container after use and contains a hinge for flexibility of the platform during closing and opening of the lid.

PILL BOX

A pill box includes a box body, The box body includes an accommodating chamber defining an opening and receiving pills. A box closing the accommodating chamber is arranged on the accommodating chamber, A connecting end of the box cover is hinged to a rear end of the box body. An elastic piece and a limiting groove are disposed on the rear end of the box body. A clamping seat is arranged on the connecting end of the box cover. A bending portion is arranged on one end of the elastic piece. A fixing portion is arranged on another end of the elastic piece. The bending portion passes through the clamping sear and is exposed. When the box cover is buckled with the box body, the bending portion is deformed by being squeezed and tightly engages with the box cover, and the fixing portion extends downward into the limiting groove.

Self-opening packaging with child-resistant closure

A self-opening container incorporates a child-resistant closure mechanism, which prevents operation of an opening mechanism of the container when the child-resistant (CR) closure mechanism is in a locked configuration. The container includes a container body, lid, and inner casing slidably mounted in an inner cavity of the container body. The opening mechanism is configured to automatically raise the inner casing and open the lid, thereby providing access to container contents. The child-resistant closure mechanism includes a button or bar slidably mounted to the bottom of the container to move between first position and second positions, corresponding to locked and unlocked configurations. The button or bar is coupled to a latch member that abuts against a catch surface of the inner casing when the CR mechanism is in its locked configuration, and does not abut against the catch structure when the CR mechanism is in its unlocked configuration.

SSOFT-SIDED INSULATED CONTAINER WITH HARD-SIDED LINER

A soft-sided insulated container that has a rigid closure. The rigid closure has a first closure interface that is a passive friction fit in which one part wipes another. The rigid closure has a second closure interface that is an active closure in which a mechanical device, such as a latch or clamp, is used positively to energize a closure between different parts of the closure. The soft-sided insulated container has a soft-sided external casing, and a rigid internal liner that includes a mating rigid lid. There is a releasable securement that holds the liner in engagement with the casing, but that can be released to permit the casing to be extracted from the liner. The releasable securement is a one-way passively engageable securement.

Spigot and Spigot Guard for an Insulating Container

An insulating container having a base and a lid is provided. The lid may be rotatable about a hinge from a closed configuration to an open configuration and may be secured, via one or more latching devices, in either the closed configuration or the open configuration. In some examples, the rotatable lid may be non-destructively removable from the base. Some example arrangements include a removable lid that, when removed, may be secured to the base via an additional portion of the latching device. Additional features of the insulating container include handles that are integrally formed with the base, a recess formed in the base and housing a spigot, and/or a spigot guard, and/or an insulating container mount.

Container

A container (10) having a base (12) is disclosed. The container (10) also has an upstanding side wall (14) extending upwardly from the base (12). The base (12) has an upper face (16) and a lower face (18). The base (12) defines an external recess (20) in extending upwardly from the lower face (18). The container (10) further includes a mesh formation in the recess (20). A lid (110) for a container (1100) is also disclosed. The lid (110) comprises a first surface (118) facing in a first direction. The lid (110) also has a second surface opposite the first surface (118). The lid (110) has a rim arrangement (111) comprising a holding formation (122) having a curved convexity (126A) facing in a second direction away from the first direction. The holding formation (122) comprises a plurality of spaced retaining members (128) on said convexity (126A). The retaining members (128) extend in the second direction, and are arranged so that a securing member (124) extending across the convexity (126A) between adjacent retaining members (128) is retained on the holding formation (122) by the retaining members (128).

Self-adjusting preload for memory alloy wire

A preload mechanism for an actuator is disclosed that includes a rotating element configured to rotate about a pivot. The rotating element has a first contact point that is configured to couple to the actuator such that contraction of the actuator displaces the first contact point such that the rotating element rotates from a first position to a second position. The preload mechanism also includes a bias element with a first end that is coupled to a second contact point of the rotating element and a second end configured to be pinned relative to the pivot. The bias element has a line of action extending from the second end through the first end. The line of action has an offset distance that is the minimum distance between the line of action and the pivot. The offset distance has a first value when the rotating element is in the first position and a second value when the rotating element is the second position, the second value being smaller than the first value.
