Flip-top closure and a package
A flip-top closure includes first and second closure portions. The first closure portion includes a top wall portion with a tamper-evident winged section and a middle section, which are connected via a frangible connection. The winged section forms an undercut. The top wall portion includes a drivable structure to assist in threading the flip-top closure into a container. The second closure portion includes an annular skirt portion and a ledge. The annular skirt portion forms an external thread formation. The ledge includes at least one locking protrusion. A hinge connects the first and second closure portions. In an initially closed position, the undercut of the winged section corresponds with and lockingly engages with the locking protrusion. During movement of the hinge from the initially closed position to an open position, the frangible connection breaks leaving the winged section being lockingly engaged with the locking protrusion.
Lid
A lid for outfitting a container is provided. The lid includes a cover shell defining a first cavity, a first lid rim defining an opening, and a hinge member constructed to pivotally interconnect the first lid rim with the cover shell. The cover shell releasably lockable to the first lid rim.
MOISTURE RETAINING CONTAINER SYSTEMS
The container system includes a cylindrical canister with a base and a sidewall featuring multiple through-holes, and a removable liner positioned within the canister. A cap, comprising a lid base with a sectional protrusion defined by a perforation, may retain a sheet wipe. The cap may include a collar with multiple protrusions on its inner surface, retaining tabs extending from the lid base, and a lid that is integral to the collar and rotatably connected to the lid base. The lid base may include a cylindrical protrusion opposite the collar and retaining tabs, while the lid has first and second cylindrical protrusions. When closed, the lid base protrusion may be disposed between the lid's protrusions, forming a moisture transfer resistant seal. Each protrusion May align with a through-hole, with portions of the sidewall and liner disposed between the retaining tabs, collar, and sidewall surfaces to ensure secure assembly and functionality.
Flip-Top Closure And Package
Container with a lid-collar assembly
A container (100) having a main body (104) including one or more sidewalls (106) having an interior surface (120) and an exterior surface (122) and defining an interior compartment (108), the one or more sidewalls having an upper portion (114) defining a circular opening (110) to the interior compartment and an annular flange (128) extending from the exterior surface and a lid-collar assembly (112, 116) comprising a lid (116) attached to a collar (112) affixed to the main body, the collar having an inner side surface (162) positioned radially outward of the annular flange and a plurality of longitudinally extending ribs (210) spaced apart on the inner side surface, wherein the plurality of ribs engage the annular flange to resist rotation of the lid-collar assembly relative to the main body.
Closure with a locking rim having a sealing rib
A closure includes an annular base to be fixed to an upper rim of a container and a lid moveable relative to the annular base between a closed position and an open position. The annular base includes a peripheral skirt with an integral non-removable end portion adapted to be arranged over the upper rim of the container and a peripheral locking rim integrally formed on the end portion of the peripheral skirt. A proximal end of the peripheral locking rim is hingedly connected to the peripheral skirt, allowing the peripheral locking rim to be folded inwardly towards an inner surface of the end portion of the peripheral skirt and allowing the distal end to move beyond and engage under the peripheral ledge of the container to lock the annular base to the upper rim of the container. The locking rim includes a surface radially inwardly and circumferentially extending sealing rib.
CHILD RESISTANT AND AIRTIGHT CONTAINER
Disclosed herein are modular container systems having child-resistant containers, tray inserts and tray frames. Also disclosed are methods using the modular container systems and methods of storing substances in containers. The containers have a container base and a container cap and provide for child-resistant containers. A user can releasably remove the container cap from container base with a squeeze and lift sequence. For example, the user squeezes opposite sides of the container base, which releases a locking mechanism and allows for removal of the cap by lifting or pulling the container cap off from the container base. The components of the modular container system are modular and stackable. The modular system allow for organized, efficient, accessible and storage of the child-resistant containers. The modular container system also allows for easy counting, sorting and processing of the containers.
ONE-PIECE CLOSURE AND PACKAGE OF USING THE SAME
A one-piece closure includes first and second closure portions. The first closure portion includes a first polymeric top wall portion and a first polymeric annular skirt portion depending from the first polymeric top wall portion. The first polymeric top wall portion includes a continuous wedge seal extending from an inner surface of the first polymeric top wall portion. The continuous wedge seal includes a surface-tension geometric structure being located therein to assist in preventing or inhibiting contents of a container from leaving the one-piece closure when the first closure portion is in an open position. The second closure portion includes a second polymeric top wall portion and a second polymeric annular skirt portion depending from the second polymeric top wall portion. The one-piece closure is adapted to be opened by flipping the first closure portion with respect to the second closure portion via a hinge or pivot point.
Lid Arrangement Having Stacking Options
A lid structure for a container has an annular collar for attachment to the container. The collar has an opening for providing access to an interior of the container. The lid structure further includes a lid for closing the opening. The lid has an outer periphery and an upper surface with a circumferential ridge located near to but spaced from the outer periphery, whereby a further container having a base diameter can stack at an outside of the circumferential ridge. The circumferential ridge has at least two interruptions dividing the circumferential ridge into at least two ridge portions whereby at least two further containers having the same base diameter can stack partially on the lid.
Truly tamper-evident container
A tamper-evident container includes a tape (46). The tape is designed to break apart when the lid is opened for the first time. In some embodiments, a cap and lid are clear and see-through which allows a customer to see if the tape is torn apart and know whether the product has been tampered with. Some embodiments also include at least one screw thread (84) on a body neck (50) on the top of the container body (10) and on an inner wall (60) of a container cap (12). A removable gummy glue (62) or other adhesion mechanism is adhered on top of a mouth cover (66). When the container cap is unscrewed for the first time, the gummy glue is designed to indicate tampering. For example, the glue could be stretched, come apart, or separate from the mouth cover, or the underside of the cap, or distort an image that was on the gummy glue, such as a manufacturer's logo, name, trademark, or design, or leave an image from the mouth cover on the gummy glue, visually indicating that the container has been opened at least once.
