Closure with Hinge
A closure that remains coupled to a container after the upper portion of the closure has been rotatably removed from the container. The closure may include an attachment channel, which includes alternating segments of linear openings and frangible connections. The attachment channel may also include two hinge bridges that remain unbroken when one or more of the frangible connections are broken.
Consumer product that includes a container and unit dose articles
A consumer product that includes a container and at least one water-soluble unit dose article, the container including a lid able to move from an open to closed position via at least one hinge, where the container includes at least one locking device with a lid component and a wall component, where the wall component includes a support member and a hook member. The water-soluble unit dose articles may include a water-soluble film and a detergent composition.
LOW PROFILE CONTAINER COVER AND ASSEMBLY
A container cover and assembly provide an extremely low profiled edge to the container cover when the container cover is secured or attached to a complementary container. Using such a low profile results in less of an edge being exposed such that its profile works to prevent inadvertent opening of the hinged lid from the container cover and also prevent removal of the container cover from the container. The container cover comprises two halves that are integrally-molded. The two halves are connected by a common pivot point or hinge that is disposed to one side of each half which allows the halves to be folded over and onto one another. The structure of the container cover and integrally-formed hinged lid can be formed using a one-shot plastic injection molding process. This simplifies and speeds up the production process for manufacturing the container cover and hinged lid combination.
LID FOR FOOD CONTAINER
A lid assembly for a food container is described that may be used to store and transport food items. The container defines an interior to store a food product. The lid assembly includes a lid and a stopper that is sized to close an opening of the container. A biasing member urges the lid to an open position when the lid is unlocked or unlatched.
TAMPER-EVIDENT PACKAGING STRUCTURE INCORPORATED INTO A CONTAINER COVER AND AN ASSEMBLY
A container cover comprises two halves that are integrally-molded. The two halves are connected by a common pivot point or hinge that is disposed to one side of each half which allows the halves to be folded over and onto one another. One half is a solid cover or lid structure (the lid) and one half is a ring-like base structure (the base), both of which are intended to be disposed atop a container, with the base in direct contact with the container although the lid and base could be modified the include other engaging structure. The lid is configured to fit with and engage the base via the common hinge or pivot point. Opposite the hinge point of each structure is part of a lock structure that provides the tamper-evident functionality when the lid is folded over and attached to the base.
Container Covers and Methods of Using the Same
A cover for a container that includes a lid portion and a collar element. The lid portion having a main body section surrounded by a peripheral sealing shoulder. The collar element having a peripheral collar sealing shoulder that includes a collar groove and wherein the lid portion is connected to the collar portion through a hinge element. The lid portion, collar element and hinge portion are formed as a unitary structure and the lid portion articulates from an open positon in which it is spaced apart from the collar element to a closed position wherein the peripheral bead sealing shoulder of the lid portion engages with the peripheral collar sealing shoulder of the collar element.
Anti-evaporation cap cover for towelette dispenser container and assembly
An assembly comprises a container, a primary container cover, and a secondary flip up cover. The primary container cover comprises a two-shot injection molded component and includes an integrally-formed seal. The integrally-formed seal is designed to reduce or eliminate evaporation occurring between the container and the primary cover. The integrally-formed seal is further designed to reduce or eliminate evaporation occurring between the primary cover and the secondary flip up cover.
Flexible Membrane With Valve
The present disclosure pertains to a laminate membrane for sealing an inner compartment in a packaging container comprising a top member and a bottom member. The top and bottom members are laminated sheet materials. The top member has a thickness, a top member first surface and a top member second surface facing the bottom member. The bottom member has a bottom member first surface facing the top member second surface and a bottom member second surface. The laminate membrane is provided with a valve for allowing gas in the inner compartment of the packaging container to exit therefrom. The valve has a valve outer edge and is arranged on the bottom member first surface. The valve is arranged within an opening in the top member such that an opening edge encircles the valve. A surface area of the opening is greater than a surface area of the valve.
CONTAINER FOR FOOD ITEMS
A container for a food item is disclosed that includes a body and a cap that is configured for removable connection to the body to allow for opening and closure of the container. The body includes an exterior wall and is configured in correspondence with the non-liquid food item such that the configuration of the body substantially approximates that of the non-liquid food item. The body defines a storage compartment that is configured to store the non-liquid food item as well as a chamber that is enclosed within the exterior wall. The chamber is configured to accommodate a thermal medium to hinder (inhibit) temperature variation of the non-liquid food item.
CLOSURE FOR A CONTAINER
A closure (1) for a container, comprising: a first part (2); a second part (3) relatively movable to the first part (2) to move GC between a closed condition, in which an opening (21) of the closure (1) is covered, and an open condition, in which the opening (21) is uncovered; and a tamper evidence element (5) that is, on the one hand, connected to the second part (3) by a frangible connection (51) and that is, on the other hand, arranged to be withheld relative to the first part (2) such that, as the second part (3) moves with an opening motion relative to the first part (2) from the closed condition to the open condition, the opening motion ruptures the frangible connection (51). The tamper evidence element (5) is adapted to be actuated in order to rupture the frangible connection (51) independent of moving the second part (3) relative to the first part (2) by the opening motion, and the closure (1) further comprises a holding device (22) arranged on the first part (2) and adapted to secure the tamper evidence element (5) to the first part (2) after the frangible connection (51) has been ruptured.
