An adaptable drinking nozzle may convert any bottle into a nozzled drinking vessel and may feature a conical elastomeric skirt with parallel fitting rings on an inside of the skirt. The apex of the cone may have a valve to selectively contain the bottle contents. By folding the elastomeric skirt, the drinking nozzle may fit either over or inside the neck of the bottle and seal it against the fitting rings.

ALL-PLASTIC POURING SPOUT AND CLOSURE ASSEMBLY
20240199288 · 2024-06-20 ·

A securing ring is snap-fittingly engageable over and around an annular mounting flange of a foldable pouring spout in a container closure assembly, with a frangible connection between the securing ring and a spout closure member (e.g. a screw cap) intact. The assembled closure assembly is snap-fittingly engageable over and around a container neck which is received in a groove extending circumferentially about the mounting flange. The groove is defined in part by a radially outer wall having a proximal portion lying towards the pouring end of the spout and a distal end portion lying away from the pouring end of the spout. The radially outer wall comprises a central flexure zone of reduced radial width relative to the proximal and distal end portions, whereby the distal end portion is hingeingly deflectable between a radially outer position for extraction of the spout from a mold tool, and a radially inner position for engagement in an annular undercut in a radially outer surface of the container neck. When the securing ring is snap-fittingly engaged over and around the mounting flange, the distal end portion is held in the radially inner position. The distal end portion comprises a chamfer at its radially inner side and which extends radially inwards towards the pouring end of the spout for guiding the closure assembly into snap-fitting engagement with the container neck.

BEVERAGE CONTAINER AND METHOD

A beverage container has a base releasably attached to a vessel. A reciprocating nipple is mounted on the base. A flexible conduit mounted at the base is connected to the nipple. The flexible conduit can communicate between the vessel and the nipple. A user can draw liquid from the vessel through the flexible conduit and nipple. An actuating element is mounted on the base and is coupled to the nipple. The actuating element is manually operable to reciprocate the nipple between an extended and a retracted position. Portions of the flexible conduit are adapted to collapse, occlude, and prevent communication of liquid to the nipple in response to motion of the nipple into the retracted position.

A present application relates to a dispensing component for use with an urn liner. The dispensing component includes a spout formed of a polyethylene material and a flexible tube formed of a thermoplastic elastomer material. The spout and tube are formed together as a single component in a mold by co-injection of the polyethylene material and the thermoplastic elastomer material.

Plastic tube designed for pressing out a liquid to pasty mass
10214309 · 2019-02-26 · ·

A plastic tube designed for pressing out a liquid to pasty mass has a discharge opening, a supply space designed to be compressed, and a tube neck, which connects the supply space to the discharge opening, wherein a mass line having a line cross-section through which mass can flow extends through the tube neck, which cannot be used to press out the mass by means of a manual force of a user. The tube neck is designed, with regard to a free space that can be filled with mass as mass is pressed out, in such a way that a volume of the mass located in the tube neck during the pressing out corresponds to a third or less of a volume that is given by the dimensions of the tube neck.

Spray tip storage

A fluid sprayer comprises a fluid source, a spray nozzle, a pump, and a handle with a base. The spray nozzle is disposed to accept a spray tip with an outlet aperture. The pump is disposed to pump fluid from the fluid source out the outlet aperture of the spray tip. The base has a sealable storage slot sized to contain and form an air seal with the spray tip when not in use.
