In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to contain and dispense a fluid, such as a thixotropic fluid. In some embodiments, a bottle having a closure cap includes a control device, a base, and a disk, where the base and disk define a mixing chamber configured to facilitate mixing of any serum or liquid separated from the fluid back therein. In some embodiments, a dispensing bottle includes a non-removable closure cap with a tamper evident feature that indicates whether the cap was previously opened. By one approach, the dispensing bottle includes discontinuous threads on a bottle neck and ratchet projections on a closure cap that engage the discontinuous thread(s) to prevent or inhibit manual removal of the cap from the bottle.

The present invention relates to an single piece integral cap, made from a single material, for consuming a liquid from a container. The cap has at least one hole for the exit of liquid from the container and an inlet for the entrance of air into the container. This air inlet incorporates a check valve that allows for the entrance of air but not the exit of liquid. This check valve is built into the body of the cap.

Relating to closures

A dispensing closure includes a base and a lid. The base includes a dispensing spout defining a dispensing orifice. A self-closing valve controls fluid flow out of the orifice in use. The lid includes a spout sealing arrangement including an external seal for sealing against an outer face of the spout and an internal seal for sealing against an inner face of the spout.

Closure for a container

A closure 100 is provided for a container 104. The closure 100 has a base 112 for being installed at the opening of the container 104 interior and has open ends defining an access passage 148 extending between the open ends. The closure 100 has a liner 166 disposed between the closure base 112 and the container opening, and the liner 166 has an internal edge 214 defining a central hole. The closure 100 has a valve 160 for being located at the closure access passage 148. The valve 160 has (i) a closed configuration for occluding the access passage 148; and (ii) an open configuration for permitting communication through the access passage 148. The closure 100 has a retainer 170 for retaining the valve 160 at the closure access passage 148, and the retainer 170 has an outer surface with at least one liner abutment 186 extending therefrom for inhibiting contact between the liner internal edge 214 and the contents of the container 104.

The base plate is coupleable to the multi-chamber tube container and has an opening disposed therein, wherein the opening is positionable in communication with at least a first tube head (114) of a first tube (112) of the multi-chamber tube container. The lid is removably coupleable to the base plate and has both a pintle (122) extending from and a gasket (124) disposed on an inner surface thereof. When the lid and the base plate are coupled, the pintle extends into and seals a first orifice (108) disposed in the first tube head and the gasket is urged into sealing contact with a second orifice (110) disposed in a second tube head (118) of a second tube (116) of the multi-chamber tube container.

Provided is a cap (11) used for a discharge container (1) and provided on a mouth portion (32) of a container main body (10) which is deformed by a pressing force and stores contents (100). The cap (11) includes: a base portion (51) having an annular bottom wall (64) having a discharge port (64a), an annular groove (64c) provided in an outer peripheral edge of the bottom wall (64), a flow port (64d) provided in the groove (64c), and a flow groove (64e) connected to the flow port (64d); a check valve (53) having a cylindrical support portion (81) having one end disposed in the groove (64c), a plurality of elastic pieces (82) connected to the support portion (81), and a valve body (83) connected to the plurality of elastic pieces (82) and opening and closing the discharge port (64a); and a discharge nozzle (52) covering the bottom wall (64).
