Tamper evident flip cap
11214414 · 2022-01-04 · ·

A closure includes a flip-top structure and a tamper-evident band. The flip-top structure is restricted from being opened because it interfaces against an underlying protrusion, such as a thread of a container's neck. To open the flip-top structure the closure is rotated with respect to the container neck. When the closure is rotated with respect to the container neck, the closure is configured such that the tamper-evident band breaks before the flip-top structure is permitted to rotate to an open position. Thus, the closure prevents accessing the container's contents until after the tamper-evident band is broken even with the addition of a flip-top structure.

Spray attachment for bringing out fluid substances in a jet-like manner

A spray attachment for bringing out fluid substances in the manner of a jet includes a cap with an annularly peripheral, closed skirt with a wall, on whose inner side or outer side first fastener is integrally formed. The first fastener can engage a corresponding second fastener of an outer wall or inner wall of a container neck. The skirt at a longitudinal end is closed off by a cover surface having a recess. A receiving part for receiving an insert part is arranged in the region of the recess, and includes a conical receiving surface for receiving a conical peripheral surface of the insert part. The conical receiving service and the conical peripheral surface delimit at least one through-channel for fluid substance, through which the fluid substance can be brought out.

A flip top cap for containers providing evidence of first opening includes a cover part and a pourer part coupled by a hinge arrangement and produced as a single piece. The cover part is rotatable around the hinge arrangement to be brought from a closed position engaging the pourer part to an open and separate position with respect to the pourer part, an engagement system engaging the cover part after rotation into a closed position on the pourer part. The engagement system is breakable and is arranged partly on the cover part and partly on the pourer part, and remains integral with at least one of the cover or pourer parts when they are broken at the first opening.

In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods provided herein are useful for dispensing a fluid, such as a thixotropic fluid. In some embodiments, a bottle having a closure cap includes a flip top, a base, and a disk, where the base and disk define a mixing chamber configured to facilitate mixing of any serum or liquid separated from the fluid back therein. In some configurations, the base has a central opening through which the fluid exits and an internal shaft with a non-planar end surface opposite the central opening. In some configurations, the non-planar end surface and the disk define channels between the mixing chamber and the internal shaft. In some embodiments, the disk includes a central opening, a plurality of partial annular openings through a planar surface of the disk, and projections extending into the mixing chamber.

A closure for use with a container, the closure including a cap assembly with a lower cap configured to attach to a neck of the container. A flip-top reclosable lid is hingedly attached to the cap assembly. The hinge permitting the lid to be pivoted open and closed relative to the cap assembly. A plurality of frangible spokes extend between and are integrally molded to the flip-top lid and the cap assembly. The spokes are spaced about a periphery of the flip-top lid and configured to break when the lid is first opened thereby providing a visual indication that the closure has been opened.
