CHEMICAL RESERVOIR CAP WITH COMPRESSIBLE DISCHARGE PORT
A chemical reservoir assembly may include a reservoir containing a liquid chemical and a closure sealing off an outlet opening of the reservoir. The closure can include a top wall having an access opening and a sealing disc positioned under the top wall and across the access opening. The sealing disc may include a vent opening positioned under the top wall and offset from the access opening. The sealing disc can be fixedly positioned relative to the top wall and include a compressible material configured to compress in response to a discharge device being inserted into the access opening and pressing against the compressible material. In response to the force of the discharge device, the compressible material can compress to open a venting pathway from the access opening through the at least one vent opening.
LID ASSEMBLY FOR A PACKAGE, LID-SPOUT GROUP FOR A PACKAGE AND PACKAGE HAVING A LID-SPOUT GROUP
There is described a lid assembly comprising a coupling ring, a lid and a hinge element hinging the lid to the coupling ring and being in contact with a contact portion of the lid. The lid comprises a cover wall configured to cover the pouring outlet and a side wall protruding from the cover wall. The side wall comprises an end portion connected to the cover wall and a rim portion opposite to the end portion. The rim portion comprises a rim surface facing the coupling ring. The rim surface comprises a first portion, a second portion connected to the first portion and a third portion connected to the second portion and being closer to the contact portion than the first portion. The second portion is transversal to the first portion and the third portion.
Dispensing closure
A dispensing closure (40, 40A, 40B) includes a first body (54, 54A, 54B) for being located at an opening of a container (44, 44A, 44B) and having a first peripheral wall (56, 56A, 56B) and a membrane (60, 60A, 60B) that is integrally molded with the first peripheral wall (56, 56A, 56N) to initially occlude access to the interior of the container (44, 44A, 44B). The closure (40, 40A, 40B) includes a second body (55, 55A, 55B) for surrounding at least a portion of the first body (54, 55A, 55B) and defining a dispensing orifice (88, 88A, 88B). Either the first body (54, 54A, 54B) and/or the second body (55, 55A, 55B) includes means for accommodating engagement by a user to breach only a portion of the membrane (60, 60A, 60B) in a direction toward the interior of the container (44, 44A, 44B) to permit access to the interior of the container (44, 44A, 44B).
