Container
A container (100), comprising a thread (120) arranged around an opening (110) for engaging a corresponding thread (120) of a closure (400), more than four retention members (140) arranged around the opening (110), each retention member (140) having an end-face for abutting a member (510) on an interior surface of the closure (400) to impede unthreading of the closure (400), the retention members (140) being arranged such that a tangent (170) to each end-face of the retention members (140) intersects a plane (160, 350) bisecting the container (100) at an obtuse angle (171), wherein the retention members (140) are arranged in first and second groups, the first group (141, 410) comprising one retention member (140) having an end-face substantially parallel to the plane bisecting the container (100), and the second group (142, 420) comprising two or more retention members (140), the first and second groups being arranged on one side of the plane (160, 350), each in a respective quadrant of the container (100), the teeth of the second group (142, 420) have a first inter-tooth spacing, and a second inter-tooth spacing is provided between an end-face of the retention member of the first group (141, 410) and a first retention member of the second group (142, 420), and the second inter-tooth spacing is larger than the first inter-tooth spacing.
Spill Guard Select Dispenser for the Prevention of Pill Spillage
An insert used in conjunction with a pill container consisting of a circular alignment plate or dialer and base. The alignment plate contains a plurality of opening of various sizes and shapes. The circular base contains one opening, preferably equal in size and shape to the largest opening on the alignment plate or dialer. The two components are connected at the center point so that the dialer or alignment plate may rotate to align one of the openings on the alignment plate with the opening of the base. The alignment of the openings allows the user to control, limit or restrict the dispensing of pills located in the container while also providing addition safeguards.
Child-resistant closure
A child-resistant container cap has: an internally threaded inner sidewall. An outer sidewall surrounds the inner wall and has a cross-section normal to the central axis characterized by an opposite first pair of ends compressable from a relaxed condition to a compressed condition and an opposite second pair of ends, a direction between the second pair of ends being normal to a direction between the first pair of ends. A pair of engagement features are carried by the outer sidewall and engagable with container body engagement features to prevent an unscrewing rotation with the cap in the installed condition and the outer sidewall relaxed. Compression of the first ends from the relaxed condition to the compressed condition shifts the cap engagement features radially outward to permit the unscrewing rotation. The cross-section of the cap is longer between the first ends than the second ends.
Closure locking assembly
A locking assembly for a closure system having a first vertical member configured to extend downward along a sidewall of a closure and including a first hook element and a second hook element. A second vertical member having a first hook element and a second hook element is configured to be connected to the first vertical member such that the second vertical member extends downward along an opposite side of the sidewall of the closure from the first vertical member. When the locking assembly is installed on the closure system in a locked position, the first and second vertical members are dimensioned and configured so that the first hook elements are disposed above opposing sides of a top surface of the closure and the second hook elements are disposed beneath opposing sides of the sidewall of the closure for preventing the closure from being removed from the container.
CHILD-RESISTANT CONTAINER
Aspects of the present invention are directed to a child-resistant container comprising a lid and a vial. The lid has a side wall, an inner surface and a lid cover. The lid cover includes a top, a bottom, and a front surface and at least two lid hooks protruding from the bottom surface. The vial contains an opening accessing a cavity and a rim extending around at least a portion of the opening, the rim having at least two moveable tabs partially affixed to the rim and movable about a pivot point. The movable tabs contain tab hooks above the pivot point for engaging with the lid hooks to secure the lid cover to the vial. The moveable tabs are displaceable outwardly away from the lid to disengage the tab hooks from the lid hooks by pressing inwardly on the moveable tabs below the pivot point.
CANISTER WITH A CLOSURE SECURING MEMBER
A canister (1) incluing a container wall (31) and a container insert (33) which is connected to the container wall (31) in a positive-locking manner, and a cover wall (51) and a cover insert (53) which is connected to the cover wall (51) in a positive-locking manner. The container insert (33) and the cover insert (53) each include a closure connection (35, 55) for connecting the cover (5) to the container (3) in a manner that is releasable again in a closed position. In addition, the container insert (33) and the cover insert (53) include cooperating securing elements (37, 57) which secure the cover (5) to the container (3) in a positive-locking manner in the closed position.
A Container With Child Resistant Means
A container (2) with child resistant means, which container (2) comprises: (i) a body portion (4) for receiving a product; (ii) a top (6) for opening and closing the body portion (4); (iii) locking means (10) for locking the top (6) to the body portion (4); (iv) opening means for unlocking the locking means (10) and enabling the top (6) to be moved to open the body portion (4), and the container (2) being such that: (v) the locking means (10) is a push-operated locking means (10) which operates by pushing the top (6) onto the body portion (4); (vi) the opening means (19) is a squeeze-operated opening means (19) which operates by simultaneously squeezing of the top (6) at two opposed locations (19) only; and (vii) the push-operated locking means (10) and the squeeze-operated opening means (19) enable the body portion (4) to be closable and openable using only one hand on the top (6) and without having to rotate the top (6) relative to the body portion (4).
Package
A package having a container and a selectively openable lid to selectively allow access to the container is disclosed.
Child-Resistant Container Having Cap Retainer Features
A child-resistant container includes a cap with an outer member moveable relative to the axis radially between a first position and a radially displaced position. The container also includes a container body with a neck that engages with an inner member of the cap. The container body has a projection that engages the outer member and limits rotational movement of the cap when the outer member is in the first position and the cap is contemporaneously twisted-off. The outer member bypasses the projection when the outer member is in the radially displaced position and the cap is contemporaneously twisted-off. The projection includes a receiving aperture that receives at least part of the outer member when the outer member is in the first position and the cap is contemporaneously twisted off.
CARTON
A carton with a housing including an outer layer and an inner layer and a sliding container enclosable within the inner layer of the housing. The sliding container can be moved from a closed configuration wherein the sliding container is enclosed within the inner layer to an open configuration wherein at least a portion of the sliding container is outside the housing. The sliding container comprises an engagement means engagable with an aperture in the housing inner layer when in register with the aperture to hold the sliding container in the closed configuration. The outer layer of the housing comprises means for applying pressure in register with the aperture such that pressure applied in register with the aperture is exerted on the engagement means to thereby disengage the engagement means from the aperture to allow the sliding container to move from the closed to the open configuration.
