Self-resealing venting elastomeric closure for use with oral syringes, pipettes and the like
A self-venting self-resealing pre-cut elastomeric closure for vials, bottles and the like, comprising a dished elastomeric septum supported for closing an opening in a container, a cut across the dished elastomeric septum, and additional cuts defining with the cross cut one or more flap areas elastically displaceable from a closed condition to a venting condition in response to insertion of a liquid transfer implement through the central area of the septum dish.
FLEXIBLE POUR SPOUT
A flexible pour spout for controlling a flow of fluid. A pour spout includes a proximal portion configured to be inserted into an opening of a container and a distal portion configured to extend outside the container when the proximal portion is inserted into the opening of the container. The proximal portion includes a first sidewall defining a first internal cavity and a collar attached to an external side of the first sidewall. The distal portion includes a second sidewall defining a second internal cavity and a terminal opening located at a distal end of the second sidewall. The second sidewall comprises a bend such that at least a portion of the second sidewall collapses along the bend to reduce a size of the terminal opening in response to applying a pressure to the second sidewall.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS ASSOCIATED WITH A DRINKING CONTAINER WITH A SOLID, INTEGRATED VALVE
Embodiments disclosed herein describe systems and methods for a drinking container with an integrated valve that uses surface tension to control the flow of fluid.
CAP ASSEMBLY INTEGRATED WITH CHECK VALVES
A cap assembly for a container comprises a cap and a body coupled to the cap. The body includes a peripheral wall and a valve seat. The valve seat includes a first side facing the cap and a second side facing away from the cap. A first check valve having an elastic valve body is positioned at the second side of the seat. A second check valve having an elastic valve body is positioned at the first side of the valve seat. When a pressure at the first side of the valve seat exceeds a pressure at the second side of the valve seat by a first predetermined value, the first check valve opens; and when the pressure at the second side exceeds the pressure at the first side by a second predetermined value, the second check valve opens.
VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR A LEAK RESISTANT DRINKING CUP
A valve assembly for a leak resistant drinking cup includes a tubular plug having an outer wall, an inner wall, and a web extending between and connecting the outer and inner walls. The web has at least one slit disposed intermediate the inner and outer walls. The valve assembly is configurable between a sealed position wherein liquid is inhibited from passing through the slit and an unsealed position wherein liquid can pass through the slit.
Probiotic canning system
A canning system for a jar is described. The system includes a plunger configured to translate through a neck of the jar. A seal is in communication with the plunger and configured to flex its shape so as to conform to the size of the jar as it passes through the neck. The seal extending beyond the periphery of the plunger. A rod is configured to engage the plunger and selectively locate the position of the plunger within the jar. An optional cap may be used to assist in locating the plunger in the jar prior to sealing the jar with a lid.
Breather valve
The mechanical breather valve includes a valve body, on which is installed one-way air inlet and outlet components. A tank, for environmental protection, is fitted with the breather valve and closed so that no volatile gas will be exhausted, when the pressure within is balanced with the outside. When the pressure within is negative, the one-way air inlet hole will draw air from outside to keep the balance of pressure. When the pressure within is increased, one-way air outlet hole will exhaust the additional air. When the tank is tilted or placed upside down, the breather valve can prevent the oil from flowing out of the tank for safe usage.
Cup Assembly
A cup is provided having a lid with a spout defined by walls tapered towards a distal end of the spout. The lid has handles extending therefrom that are preferably formed of a first and second material having different Shore A hardnesses to define a rigid portion and a gripping portion.
