VOLATILE DISPENSER FOR USE IN VOLATILE DISPENSING SYSTEMS
A volatile dispenser for use in a volatile dispensing system is provided. The volatile dispenser includes a blister with a surface having at least one flexible portion, a permeable membrane sealable to the surface and configured to form a sealed reservoir with the blister, and a volatile material contained within the sealed reservoir. Diffusion of the volatile material through the permeable membrane generates a pressure differential between the sealed reservoir and an ambient atmosphere to induce a movement of the at least one flexible portion to perform at least one function for the volatile dispensing system.
Alcohol pad system, alcohol pad, and method for cleaning a medicine vial
An alcohol pad system, alcohol pad, and method for cleaning a medicine vial include a pad member treated with alcohol and a projection member also treated with alcohol, disposed upon the pad member, with the projection member extending upwardly from the pad member, and the pad member and projection member are adapted to clean, or sanitize, the top of a medicine vial which includes a metal portion and a rubber insert portion disposed within the metal portion of the top of the medicine vial.
Method and system for packing bitumen
A method for packing bitumen in a continuous process is disclosed. To pack the bitumen, a tray having one or more bitumen-receiving cavities is prepared. The cavity of the tray is coated with polymer film and bituminous film consecutively. Following that, the bitumen, in liquid form, is filled into the coated cavity. Additional layer of bituminous and polymer film are then consecutively laid over the bitumen-filled cavity, encapsulating the bitumen thereto. A system to form such bitumen package is also disclosed herein.
Contact lens packaging
Packages, systems, and methods of the present disclosure are generally directed to the use of side gating in injection molding to form packaging for contact lenses. As compared to gating along a top surface of a contact lens package, the use of a side gate in injection molding to form a package for contact lenses may significantly reduce the time required to cool plastic in the injection mold, thus offering potential to reduce the overall cycle time for the injection molding process and increase fabrication throughput of the package.
