Packaging for sterile packaging a product, comprising a bag shaped body with two main surfaces that are mutually gas tight at at least part of their peripheral edges comprising a gas non-permeable material. At least part of the main surfaces comprises a gas permeable material part of a pore size that locks out harmful organisms and comprises a gas tight material part that is positioned between two peripheral edges that extend in a longitudinal direction and between the gas permeable material part and a peripheral edge that extends in a transverse direction.
Flexible container with integral extended internal dispensing tube in a stand-up configuration
A flexible thermoformed dispensing package for a flowable material includes an integrally formed dispensing tube extending from the container portion having an internal extension spaced apart from the side walls defining a recessed chamber defined by a pair of integral thermoformed walls extending from the bottom surface of the container chamber and terminating proximate the base when the package is in a vertical position to facilitate sipping of a beverage from the container portion; alternatively, a straw is placed in the dispensing tube to reach the base of the package. In another embodiment, at least one integrally formed internal dividing wall extends from the sealed end of the dispensing tube and intersects an interior wall to define separate dispensing chambers, where the sealed ends of each of the dispensing chambers can be independently opened along a weakened transverse parting line and separated into separate dispensing channels along a longitudinal parting line.
Flexible Container with Tether
The present disclosure provides a flexible container (10). In an embodiment, the flexible container includes: a front panel (22), a rear panel (24), a first gusseted side panel (18), and a second gusseted side panel (20). The gusseted side panels adjoin the front panel and the rear panel along peripheral seals (41) to form (i) a top portion, (ii) a body portion, and (iii) a bottom portion. The top portion comprises a neck (27) and a fitment (30) in the neck. The top portion comprises a top handle (12) extending above the fitment, the top handle having a reciprocal attachment member (5). The bottom portion comprises a bottom handle (14) and a tether (6) extending from the bottom handle. A distal end of the tether has an attachment member (7), the attachment member adapted to secure to the reciprocal attachment member.
DEVICE FOR METERING AND/OR FOR PREPARING A MEDIUM TO BE PREPARED, CONTAINER FOR RECEIVING AND METERING A COMPONENT, CONTAINER FOR RECEIVING AND METERING FLUID, AND CORRESPONDING SYSTEM
A device (1; 1′) is shown and described for metering and/or preparing a medium to be prepared, in particular baby food, in particular baby milk formula or semi-solid baby food, coffee and/or tea, the device comprising a housing (3) with a first receiving region (5; 5′) and a second receiving region (7; 7′), wherein the first receiving region (5; 5′) is configured for receiving a first container (9; 9′) for a first component of the medium to be prepared, and wherein the second receiving region (7; 7′) is configured for receiving a second container (11) for a fluid, a temperature control device for controlling the temperature of the fluid, a metering device (29; 29′) for metering the first component, wherein the first receiving region (5; 5′) has a metering device receiving region (27; 27′) for receiving the metering device (29; 29′), and wherein an actuating and/or drive device (39) for the metering device (29; 29′) is arranged in the metering device receiving region (27; 27′).
METHOD OF FORMING A GUSSETED STAND-UP FLEXIBLE POUCH
A gusseted stand-up flexible pouch including a pouch-forming structure. The pouch-forming structure including first and second body panels, first and second side gussets, a bottom gusset and at least one interior gusset. The bottom gusset extends between the first and second body panels. Each of the first and second side gussets is joined to the first and second body panels. The at least one interior gusset is joined to the first and second body panels. The at least one interior gusset is located between the first and second side gussets.
