Package with integrated magnetic valve
A package for dispensing a fluent material contained in the package. The package can include a first polymeric sidewall having a first perimeter and a second polymeric sidewall having a second perimeter, the first and second polymeric sidewalls being joined at least along a portion of the first and second perimeters to define a flexible pouch having an interior compartment for a contained fluent material in an equilibrium pressure state. An opening permits fluid communication through the first opening upon the contained fluent material being in a positive pressure state greater than the equilibrium pressure state. The opening can have a magnetic valve, the magnetic valve having a first magnetic region and an opposing second magnetic region. The first magnetic region and second magnetic region can be in a separable magnetically contacting state to alternately permit and prevent fluid communication of the fluent material.
Sheet material container
The present invention provides a sheet material container being made of a sheet material and including a body portion and a bottom portion that is to be disposed on a placement surface, and the sheet material including a plurality of film layers. A body portion sheet that constitutes the body portion includes a bonding portion where peripheral edge portions of the sheet materials are bonded. In a bottom surface sheet that constitutes the bottom portion, a non-adhesive region is provided in the plurality of film layers. The non-adhesive region forms a bottom filler-filled portion. The bottom filler-filled portion extends annularly around a non-filled portion, and includes at least three protruding leg portions that are to be placed on the placement surface so as to allow the container to stand by itself. The protruding leg portions protrude toward the placement surface past other portions in the bottom filler-filled portion due a leg forming portion.
Break-open single-dose sealed package with a double compartment and method for the production thereof
A break-open single-dose sealed package and method for the production thereof; the sealed package has: a first sheet of semi-rigid plastic material; a second sheet of flexible plastic material set on top of and welded to the first sheet along an annular weld, so as to define a sealed pocket containing a dose of a product; and a pre-weakened area that develops transversely and is obtained in a central area of the first sheet; the pocket is divided into two distinct and separated chambers which are insulated from one another and each contain a corresponding component of the product; and the pocket is divided into the two chambers due to a central weld connecting the second sheet to the first sheet and is weak, so as to be broken by exerting pressure on at least one of the two chambers.
DRINKS POUCH
A fully sealed pouch contains a drink and a straw. The pouch has a front face and a rear face, and defines: a top edge where the front face and the rear face are sealed to each other, a bottom portion where the front face and the rear face are connected to each other optionally via a gusset, a first side edge extending from the top edge to the bottom portion, the front face being sealed to the rear face along the first side edge, and a second side edge also extending from the top edge to the bottom portion, the front face and the rear face either being continuous with each other or sealed to each other at the second side edge, and an extended corner portion defined between the top edge and the first side edge. The interior volume of the pouch is divided into a minor portion adjacent the first edge and extending into the extended corner portion, and a major portion communicating with the minor portion. The front face and the rear face are sealed to each other throughout the extended corner portion except where the minor portion extends into the extended corner portion. The straw is located in the minor portion with an end thereof extending into the extended corner portion. A predetermined tear line is defined in the extended corner portion along a line that extends from a position at or adjacent the first side edge, across the minor portion where it extends into the extended corner portion, and along a curved path to or adjacent to the top edge at a position spaced from the join between the top edge and the first side. The tear line constrains a user seeking access to the straw readily to tear therealong to expose the end of the straw and to allow the user thereafter to drink from the pouch via the straw.
POUCH AND LIQUID CONTENT-CONTAINING POUCH
It is an object of the present invention to provide a pouch capable of releasing the fragrance component contained in the content to the outside without opening the pouch while avoiding leakage to the outside and deterioration in quality of the content with a simple configuration, and a liquid content-containing pouch. The pouch of the present invention is a pouch that is formed in a bag shape by forming an outer peripheral sealing part by thermally bonding a film, and accommodates a content in an accommodating part inward from the outer peripheral sealing part, wherein a fragrance component releasing part is formed at a position corresponding to the accommodating part on at least one side of the film, and the fragrance component releasing part is configured of at least one of a material-removed part and a notched score formed in a partial range in a thickness direction of the film.
Flexible Pouch with Microcapillary Dispensing System
The present disclosure provides a flexible pouch. In an embodiment, the flexible pouch includes opposing flexible films. The flexible films define a common peripheral edge. A microcapillary strip is sealed between the opposing flexible films. A first side of the microcapillary strip is located at a first side of the common peripheral edge and a second side of the microcapillary strip located at a second side of the common peripheral edge. A peripheral seal extends along at least a portion of the common peripheral edge. The peripheral seal comprises a sealed microcapillary segment. The peripheral seal forms a closed flexible pouch having a storage compartment. A liquid is present in the storage compartment.
Product dispensers
A pull tab assembly is described for condiment dispensers such that one or more pull tabs are disposed on a dispenser. An alternative teaches opposing pull tab assemblies placed on either end of a condiment dispenser. A slanted edge associated with the pull tab facilitates the opening of the dispenser. Another embodiment teaches acute angle dispensing devices and alternatively having a flap about the acute angle dispensing devices.
Easy To Open Package With Controlled Dispensing Device
A package or container is disclosed that includes an opening device in conjunction with a self-sealing valve for facilitating opening of the package and for dispensing fluids in a controlled manner. In one embodiment, the opening device can comprise a breachable bubble. The breachable bubble can be in communication with a fluid channel that operates in conjunction with the self-sealing valve. The package can include a folded portion for sealing the fluid channel and allowing the bubble to be breached when a user applies pressure. Once the bubble is breached, the folded portion can be unfolded for dispensing a fluid.
PACKAGE HAVING A SPOUT RESERVOIR/RETAINING FEATURE
A package designed to prevent the leakage of its contents and to capture any leaked contents within a package reservoir, while permitting the package to be sealed for later access to the contents of the package.
Self-Sealing Dosepack
A dose pack includes a front panel and aback panel that define an internal volume therebetween. A portion of the front panel, the back panel, or both is configured to be torn, perforated, or cut to open the dose pack. A first guide may be positioned in the internal volume and extend toward a second, opposing edge of the dose pack. A second guide may be positioned within the internal volume and extend toward the first edge. A third guide may be positioned within the internal volume. The third guide is substantially perpendicular to the first and second guides. The first, second, and third guides define a tortuous path of fluid communication through which a fluid is configured to flow, after the dose pack has been opened, in response to the dose pack being exposed to a predetermined force.
