A food product package is formed by a sheet resulting from a blank with a plurality of sheets, each sheet of the blank having weakened portions, and a tongue secured to a transverse edge of the sheet The sheet is folded according to transverse weakened portions in order to form a tube with a rectangular cross-section and being sealed on itself along a peelable or tearable transverse joint, the tongue projecting longitudinally from the transverse joint, the sheet being sealed longitudinally along a longitudinal base joint, and the package being closed by longitudinally sealing the sheet on itself along a longitudinal top joint spaced apart from the longitudinal base joint, with the transverse joint extending from one longitudinal joint to the other.

Flexible packaging structure with a built-in opening and reclose feature

A flexible packaging laminate is formed to have a built-in opening and reclose feature by forming the laminate as a two-part structure having an outer structure joined in face-to-face relation with an inner structure. Score lines are formed in both structures to enable an opening to be formed through the laminate by lifting an opening portion (e.g., a flap or the like) of the two structures out of the plane of the laminate. The score line through the outer structure defines a larger opening than the score line through the inner structure, such that a marginal region of the outer structure extends beyond the edge of the opening portion of the inner structure. A pressure-sensitive adhesive is used to re-adhere the marginal region to an underlying surface of the inner structure adjacent the opening through the laminate.

Reusable packaging bags and related methods

The disclosed packaging bags may include a flexible front sidewall and a flexible rear sidewall with at least a first closed edge, second closed edge, and third closed edge coupling the front sidewall to the rear sidewall. A perforation may be formed through the flexible front sidewall and the flexible rear sidewall along the first closed edge. The perforation may extend in a first segment from the first closed edge toward a central region of the packaging bag, in a second segment in a direction along the first closed edge, and in a third segment back to the first closed edge. The second segment may include at least one elongated ventilation slit. Various other related packaging bags and methods are also disclosed.

To provide a packaging bag that is hardly opened erroneously, can be easily opened, and can simply make an unused article to be packaged held and packaged in the packaging bag.

The problem is solved by a packaging bag that is a gusset packaging bag including: a main unit section having a front surface, a back surface, and both side surfaces connecting the front surface and the back surface to each other, the main unit section storing an article to be packaged; and a handle section formed on a top side of the main unit section by overlapping the front surface and the back surface with each other, in which at least one of the front surface and the back surface of the main unit section has an opening forming portion, and the opening forming portion includes: a base point portion formed in a region located above a position corresponding to an uppermost portion of the article to be packaged that is stored in the main unit section and below the handle section; a pair of widening perforated portions having a gradually widening separation distance in a side surface direction from the base point portion toward a bottom side opposite to the top side; and a pair of extending perforated portions extending from the widening perforated portions in a top-bottom direction.

A packing box for packaging of playing cards has, in an assembled state, a shape of a rectangular parallelepiped with six faces including front and rear faces, right and left side faces, and top and bottom faces. The packing box includes cut lines in two locations at a predetermined interval in parallel with a longitudinal direction of the rectangular parallelepiped, and a central band in a portion defined by the cut lines provided in the two locations. The right and left side faces of the packing box can be removed along the cut lines such that side edges of the playing cards within the packing box are exposed.

A flexible laminate, packaging structure and method comprising an outer structure, an inner structure, and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer adhesively joining the outer and inner structures to form a laminate. At least one outer line of weakness is formed in the outer structure, wherein the at least one outer line of weakness terminates in at least one tear receiving element adjacent an opening end of the laminate. A tab is defined by at least one line of weakness formed through both the outer structure and the inner structure, wherein the at least one tab line of weakness terminates in at least one tear propagating element. A second inner line of weakness is formed in the inner structure, wherein the second inner line of weakness is disposed between the at least one tear propagating element of the tab and the at least one tear receiving element of the at least one outer line of weakness.
